I stopped by today for the annual state inspection on my car and Dorian and Kayla took excellent care of me and my car! I received an accurate estimate of how long my service would take. Dorian reviewed everything about the inspection with me and answered all of my questions. Kayla processed my checkout quickly so I could be on my way. I kid you not, this is one of THE BEST businesses in all of Houston. Their service really does come first. They care about their clients, they care about the cleanliness of their spaces, and they do amazing work as well. The waiting area is beautiful, not too cluttered with a lot of space to sit. There is an iPad bar, coffee machines, water bottles, and a BIG walled-off play jungle gym tucked away with muted colors so it blends in with the decor. I have to give a HUGE shoutout to Alex who has been helping me with my car services. He has been outstanding by calling me with details of what happened to my car, he would stop every few sentences and make sure I understood his car-lingo. He is descriptive, clear, and so kind! I had to find another company to change my oil/do minor repairs/maintenance after my normal guy retired and sold his business. I had been going to him since I turned 16 and would drive all the way to Lake Conroe to get it done (almost 20 years). I'm loyal, as long as someone doesn't play games or try to screw me. I'll even pay a little more for honesty and great customer service. Went for an oil change and was told that I had a coolant leak. I asked if they saw where it was and they said no. They could run a pressure test to find out where it is for a fee. I said no thank you and took it somewhere else. Took it to another company and they called me within a hour and asked if I knew anything else about where a leak was. They ran the pressure test and checked all the fluids under my truck. Everything was perfectly fine and no leaks. I don't like someone trying to screw me. Stay far away from here. read more

First of all just going to say this is hands down my favorite place I've ever had any automotive work done. Granted it doesn't extend past an oil change and some issues following but, if anything in the future happens I look forward to coming back. I had an issue after my oil change on our 2019 Jeep Compass, randomly it started leaking oil. I brought the car back in, along with my puppy who had a vet appointment just shortly after. We both were welcomed walking to the front door and he was actually offered treats from the staff. Justin, immediately following a brief discussion about the issue and showing him some pictures of the oil leaking from under the vehicle. He took the vehicle and within about 15 minutes came back in to let me know, they were replacing the filter and that the oil seemed low but not from leaking and refilled that also. The final verdict, nothing was leaking, they replaced the filter and oil. Didn't charge me a thing. Gave my dog a couple of treats. Last and most certainly not least Justin, I want to say his last name was Henderson...said "let us know when it's good for you and we will come by and clean up all the oil spots that were left". Couldn't thank this staff enough for such a welcoming experience and truly hope you all have the opportunity, when it arises to bring your vehicles here to be serviced. Last Saturday I had a particular anecdote with my truck in a business next to it in which it took me two hours and they couldn't solve the problem, I suppose due to lack of experience; so i headed to this business and all the guys were nice and efficient they solved my problem in 10 minutes i got better service and better price! also the girl in the office was very nice! the best experience here! My car was unfortunately struck by lightning on vacation. I had my car towed to caliber auto care. Bradley was my contact and was working on my car. He kept me in the loop almost daily with what was going on with the progress and the insurance approvals. Each thing they had to repair needed a separate approval. Bradley's communication was impeccable! I appreciate that because I work full time as well and can't always call to check up on everything with my hours. He would text at my request which made it a lot easier for my situation. I tried making an appointment online and ran into a few issues with the system. I ended up calling the location asking if my appointment time was confirmed. It didn't appear it was, but Alex told me to come on in and they'd get me set. I came in, and was out within an hour, and I was treated to an inspection on the house for my troubles. We hit a curb with our right front rim. Our rim was slightly damaged but had a suspicious exterior line. I asked Caliber to check it out to make sure it wasn't cracked inside the tire. After looking at all four tires, they said things looked good (with no charge). Because this is my wife's car, I didn't want there to be any doubt. I insisted on paying for them to look inside. They did that. I want to thank them for providing an honest response to my concerns. Nothing is more important to me than honesty in business. read more

I went in for a state inspection on July 8. It was middle of the day on Thursday so I didn't think it would take too long. 30 minutes later I asked for a time estimate. They said at least 30 minutes before they co get to me. I told them I'd had major surgeries that took less time. the manager came out and apologized for the delay and said the inspection will be done for free. That was nice. They tend to be slow at this location but it is clean. read more

First experience coming here for a state inspection. The front desk staff were all very friendly and welcoming. I was ok with the wait time they told me which would be about 1-1.5 since I did just walk in but they offered me a ride home. I decided to wait it out with my toddler and she was able to enjoy the play area. I was pleasantly surprised when the inspection was done quicker than expected. Went in to get a rear brake job including rotors on my 2015 Ram. The price was about $200 cheaper than the dealership. The job was done in about 90 minutes. The truck has over 136k and this was the first brake job, I hope that I can get close to that out of these brakes. read more

I have used Service First Automotive, 11922 Spring Cypress Rd., Tomball TX a number of times for oil changes, inspections, rear bake service and new brake fluid for my vehicles. This week was the first time I used them for a major repair service. I had an issue with the brakes on my vehicle and also needed an inspection so took it to First Service. They kept my vehicle for 2.5 days to replace a brake booster hose, power brake booster and fuel injection plenum gasket. They forgot to perform the annual inspection as I had requested. The charge for replacing the parts mentioned above was in excess of $1,000. After the fact, I checked the prices at the parts department of a local dealership and found that the parts alone on my repair were marked up approximately 60% over the dealership cost (I am ok with a reasonable markup but not this amount). In addition, the labor charges were much higher than what it would have cost me at a highly rated local repair shop (unfortunately I was not aware of this repair shop at the time of my brake service). In summary, I over paid for the parts and labor on my vehicle repair by at least $400 (it is my fault but was in a bind). These guys are awesome with customer service but it is unfortunate their cost structure is too high for my pocket book. The GM mentioned they are not the highest priced and are not the lowest price repair shop. The GM offered to perform the inspection at no cost and I declined (advised him I am not looking for anything free, only reasonable prices). Unfortunately, great customer service does not balance out elevated prices so I will have to reconsider where I go for auto service. read more

I came to this location because of the 5 star review because that just doesn't happen anymore. I wanted to see for myself if it was really 5 star worthy. Went in for an oil change which I had been dreading because the last business I went to for some unrelated repairs informed me there was an oil leak. The previous company said it would be "really expensive" to fix because they had to remove my engine. Mark (and team) confirmed the leak without removing the engine and fixed it for a very comfortable price. The service alone is 5 star worthy, then you add in the exceptional customer service from the moment I walked in the door to being dropped off at work - and you've got a customer for life.
