I am so impressed by the service at this shop. I had some paint splashed on the side blades on my Porsche Macan GTS recently. I contacted Mr Sylvester Mendoza, who supervised the post-fender bender repairs on the same car at the same location a few months ago. That was my first time at this Caliber Collision location and the customer service and quality of the repairs on that occasion was nothing I had experienced in San Antonio before. I took the car in this morning and was expecting to have to make an appointment to have the paint removed with them keeping the car for a day or too. Instead, and to my surprise, Mr Mendoza immediately took my car back to the bay and worked some magic, and poof, all the paint streaks were gone! And there was no charge and I was out of there in less than 30 minutes!! The courtesy with which Mr Mendoza and the fro t office staff at this Caliber Collision location treated me both times I have used their service is very rare these days in customer-facing organizations. The customer service is simply top-notch and I am thankful I found somewhere to take my vehicles if ever I need body work done. Can you say, WOW! I had experienced damages while traveling back from Oklahoma and wanted to get an assessment by Classic Collision. The bumper was dislodged and had had some scuffs from the tire tread I ran over on the freeway. Justin was an able to reset the bumper and eliminate majority of the scuffs marks left by the tire. I recently bought a BMW 5-Series in Dallas and wanted the dealer's medallion removed as it had been placed right next to the license plate. I decided to stop by Caliber because this location works on luxury cars and I knew they'd treat my car with care. I fully expected to have to make an appointment for the repair but the tech took my car right back to the bay and removed the medallion and polished the trunk as well. I truly appreciate the courtesy and effort Caliber provided me even though I was a first-time customer. On top of that, this service was done at no cost. I tried to tip but the tech wouldn't take it and simply asked I write a review. Should I ever need a body shop, Caliber has my business! My experience with this business from start to finish was absolutely pitiful. I was in an accident that was the fault of the other driver so we were doing most of the arrangements through the insurance company. I was given an estimate and forwarded that to this location and was scheduled a drop off date to start repairs for 4-5 weeks later. I had a rental care lined up immidately after the drop off. When I arrived for my drop off date, I was told by Sylvester that the shop had to do their own estimate that would take the weekend but I would then have to pick the car back up to bc parts needed to be ordered and they were coming from Germany and that would take about a month. My first issue with this is that they ACCEPTED my estimate from the insurance company only to make their own estimate a whole month later and then I had to wait ANOTHER MONTH for parts to come in. When the parts finally came in, Sylvester said I couldn't drop my car off for another 2 weeks and then it would be another 3-4 weeks for them to get the work done. I was so fed up that I took my car all the way to Austin to be repaired. They got it done in 10 days Sylvester has poor customer service, an awful attitude and clearly doesn't care about helping customers get back into their cars as quickly as he can. Every interaction I had with him was negative and felt as if I was inconveniencing him. He either needs a vacation or customer service training. read more

My Audi is one of a kind here, as I bought it in Germany & chose a unique color. This was my biggest concern about my car. The color not matching. When it was time to pick it up, they told me it looked brand new. I scoffed at that comment. When I arrived my baby was sitting ready, & man did she look amazing. She did look brand new. Right off the showroom floor. The repairs I had no doubt you all would do an amazing job. But, getting the Shiraz Red paint from Audi in time to make sure she was perfect - WINNING!!!! Car has been in the shop since 8/9/21 it is now 12/13/21. Have been given duplicate accounts from my tech. Here we are 4+ months and $20k later - let alone rental car and Lyft fees for months on end that is absorbed on own, I have a series of text messages from the technician that go in circles. The struts were to be replaced on 10/14, then 11/3 they were removing the engine, 11/12 still removing the engine as it was taking longer than expected. 11/16 looking for a bench to replace the strut tower - 11/24 finally replacing the strut tower. 9/2 they have completed the paint phase of the repairs yet on 12/10 they told the insurance co that car still needed to be painted. 11/24 car was said to be ready 12/10. 12/10 car had no estimated date of completion maybe the by end of the year and asking for an additional $2200. So do I recommend, no. Are they able to bring my car back to factory levels - IDK. The lack of follow-through, transparency and dedication to my vehicle causes me to give the very low rating. PS - When asking when the car was ready and why I was getting so many different stories from the same person they said my car had no engine and no tires but I am more than welcome to come pick it up. A Winter Texan who plans to return to Montana in 3 weeks, I visited Mercedes-Benz in Boerne regarding my damaged front right bumper. The service manager referred me to David Toporcer at Caliber Collision, highly recommended and only across the street. David said they had repairs scheduled for more than a month and often 2-3 months, depending on available parts. They could not get me in for repairs before I headed North. When I asked for help to at least secure the bumper for my long trip., he drove it into the shop, and Pedro secured the bumper. In my lifetime of car repairs, I have never encountered such kindness and his listening to my problem. About 40 minutes later, David drove out my car, repaired for driving.
