I contacted Mr Sylvester Mendoza, who supervised the post-fender bender repairs on the same car at the same location a few months ago. That was my first time at this Caliber Collision location and the customer service and quality of the repairs on that occasion was nothing I had experienced in San Antonio before. I took the car in this morning and was expecting to have to make an appointment to have the paint removed with them keeping the car for a day or too. Instead, and to my surprise, Mr Mendoza immediately took my car back to the bay and worked some magic, and poof, all the paint streaks were gone! And there was no charge and I was out of there in less than 30 minutes!! The courtesy with which Mr Mendoza and the fro t office staff at this Caliber Collision location treated me both times I have used their service is very rare these days in customer-facing organizations. The customer service is simply top-notch and I am thankful I found somewhere to take my vehicles if ever I need body work done. He said I'd be amazed with the results, I wasn't expecting perfection, but what I paid is expect better. In front of front tire this "paste" was left. He said it'd turn to powder and wipe off, it didn't and the parts that did left dark paint. The 2 doors are bumpy and the paint to fix it underneath is still visible. In front of the back tire, they tried to paint and the paint peeled off. He said he'd come back to buff it out. I ended up getting rid of the car.

When I called originally, they were EXTREMELY rude to me on the phone about it. All I asked for was a quote and they spoke to me as if I was stupid and refused to give me a quote, then hung up on me. When my father called 5 minutes later they treated him much more kindly than me and gave him a quote almost immediately. Any time I called asking about updates they said someone would call me back and no one ever did. The biggest problem I had with this place, though, was the fact that they could never give me a straight, honest answer. I understand they might not know for sure, but I would've rather them just said that than lie over and over again about it. I nearly got fired because they wouldn't honestly tell me when I would have reliable transportation again. When I finally got my car back, after a month longer than they originally expected, they gave me a bill for twice the amount. Blindsided. Their customer service is extremely lacking in my experience and I've never been more frustrated with my car. I'd give this place one star but, damn did they fix my car up nice. They fixed everything, even things that had no relation to why I brought it in to begin with. I'm still very upset with the lack of communication and disrespect to me, but at the very least they did their job.
