I unfortunately have been in a bad luck streak with car repairs needed over the last couple of years. While I am a USAA Member each time I have requested the Campbell (McGlincy location) Caliber Collision because Sabrina and Paula make the experience that much more effortless and positive. It is already stressful as a customer knowing you have to deal with something annoying like a car fix and they both go above and beyond! Edit: The company apologized and stated they hoped they could serve me better going forward. I appreciate the sentiment and hope I won't need any services going forward! I know it is not this collision center's fault that the vehicle was totaled; however, the lack of communication from this place is astounding. I had to ask multiple times about the status of my vehicle after weeks of waiting because no one got back to me. Then when they did, I was given vague information since they didn't want to give me the bad news. I was notified by the company who was going to tow my totaled vehicle about the status of my vehicle being totaled and I only received notice from this collision center after I had been notified by the towing company hired to remove my vehicle from the collision center. They get one extra star for the worker who helped me remove my personal belongings from my vehicle by providing me with a rolling cart. read more

I had a "project" I needed help with. Paula invited me to swing by and chat with the general manager. I arrived to a clean welcoming lobby and was greeted by Paula. She was so lovely and made me feel comfortable. Luis, the GM was no different; welcoming, friendly and understood my dilemma. 5 star experience! Caliber fixed the front end body damage to my kids car. After the fact we realized the windshield water reservoir bottle had got cracked in the accident. We were leaving the next day to drive to Seattle so we're unable to book the car back in to fix. The car had been in Seattle for a few months (where my daughter is at school) and had got some scuffs on the bodywork (Seattle street parking is notoriously hard on cars). We brought the car in to replace the water bottle and when we picked the car up not only had the car been washed and vacuumed but the body work scuffs had been buffed out and touched up. I don't have anything good to say about this shop. It's a SHIT-SHOP IMO! Had my vehicle for quite a while, did not call me or communicate the status of my vehicle. I had to call them and when I was told my vehicle was ready to be picked up I was happy. But when I saw my Hyundai Tucson at the shop it looked liked they had just finished wash/waxing it and looked not very well done. I called to schedule a car repair after talking to the insurance company who was responsible for handling my claim the day before and not even the next day, I come to find out that they don't even have the right name or information on file, they can't change any of that information, and that it's gonna take about 3 weeks or so before i can even drop off my car, just for an estimate, when I scheduled with the insurance company to get my car repaired. I came to this collision company because it was recommended by the progressive insurance agency. I was hit and I needed to get my car done immediately fixed. The staff was nice, professional and prepared for what I needed from my car repair. The project took 3 days and I got a call from Richard saying my car was all done. I finally got my car back and noticed some caps missing and decal from my bumper. I called back the next day and Richard coordinated with me a service that would help me right away. To help With the inconvenience, victor called me and helped compensate for my time. I was very surprised and thankful for the level of professionalism and helpfulness he exemplified. Another occasion, I needed help with a hinge on my trunk. Without hesitation victor was on it and told me to stop by. Terrible. Avoid. Took my vehicle in for an estimate. Couple of calls back to them to follow up and no response relative to getting the vehicle scheduled for repair. Sabrina was the rep I was handed to initially. My insurance company is paying the bill. Manager told me I would get a call back from Sabrina, no dice. My kid has been rolling in a wrecked car for a month now. This place has great reviews which is why I selected them, the insurance is covering the bill so this isn't about cost, my experience has been horrible. Also turns out there was never an estimate sent back to my insurance carrier by Caliber after weeks. Don't waste your time with these folks! I called Prestige Auto Body in Campbell and they are part of the State Farm program too, and they simply said "bring it down, leave it and we'll fix it", so just a tip on a local shop you might consider. read more

So I selected this shop for my vehicle repairs in October 2021 and experience was HORRIBLE!! As we all know due to supply issues as well as Covid it takes longer for shop to receive parts for repairs. Parts were initially supposed to be received mid Nov but did not arrive..understood. At least 2-3 other times parts were supposed to be received by Caliber but did not arrive..understood. SO in early Feb I get a call from Caliber saying parts would be in within next few days. Weeks passed and I assumed it was just another false alarm. So first week of March I called to follow up and was advised parts actually DID arrive in early Feb. After ALL the delays NOBODY contacted me to say parts arrived!! TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!! read more

I took my Honda Accord to the McGlincy location after someone hit my passenger side. They seemed very interested to take care of me. They said they'd have an estimate over within a day. I waited and waited for that estimate and it never arrived. Tried calling Savannah (name of person who was assigned the case) and her co-worker said "she'll call me right back. " That also never happened... I decided to take my business elsewhere. Had to sit on the phone with insurance for another hour to get the repair assignment sent to another shop. read more

I had a minor car accident and a few scratches. My insurance co. recommended a couple of "direct repair" shops in the area. I first stopped at Caliber (Campbell) at the end of one day, where I met Pat (the manager). He recommended a minimally invasive route (buff vs. repaint). This was not quite what I had expected--the "virtual estimate" from the insurance company called for both doors to be repainted... Pat told me to come in earlier the following day and said they would remove the scratches while I wait, for free! Sounded too good to be true... So later that day I went to another "direct repair" shop in the area, for a second opinion. Over there, they categorically dismissed buffing out the scratch (even to try it as a first step!) and fully endorsed the "full repaint" route... With the car to be in their shop for 5 (!) days. Since both shops are "direct repair" and insurance-company approved, I decided to go with Caliber Campbell first and see if they can take the scratch out. It took them all but 5 minutes (and that's including getting the car in the actual shop and back in the parking lot!) and the scratch was gone! On top of that, I did not have to do any paperwork, and it was still free, just as promised! I am blown away by this experience. Clear communication, minimally invasive route first (which turned out to be a winner), professional and knowledgeable staff. No hassle. Customer-first attitude AND action to back it up! read more
