Paperwork was fast and easy and the initial estimate of a week timeline seemed spot on. I called Caliber Collision because my car's door handle fell off. They had me come by this morning and they quickly (like 15 minutes or less) put my door handle back on and THEY DIDN'T EVEN CHARGE ME ANYTHING for it!!! I recently was having strange issues with my headlights. At times they would just dim on there own and it was dangerous while driving at night. I decided to check out the Caliber Collision in Campbell right by my house. As soon as I walked in, Jose greeted me and assured me he would get the problem fixed right away. I have used Caliber Collision at other locations in the past and always had a positive experience from my interactions with the staff to the repairs made on my vehicles. Today, the service blew me away! I called the Campbell location in the hopes they could help with my passenger car door scraping the panel each time I opened it. I was worried this would end up being around $400 which is not ideal at a time when financial concerns are heightened. Richard was kind enough to fit me in same day, and popped out the panel in less than a minute! I asked him what do I owe you and he simply said "just give me a good review". We took our 2016 Lexus NT to Caliber for major body work after the accident. We found Caliber since it is listed in Allstate's approved body shops. Anthony, a very friendly guy, patiently explained to us the process and he also said it might take two weeks to be ready. Well, we got our back exactly within two weeks and the workmanship is very impressive. When we went to pick up the car, we were told that the car has a lifetime guarantee for their works. Had my car repaired at the 665 E McGlincy Ln location. I was rear-ended and the insurance company recommend Caliber. Looking at reviews, I was hesitant as other locations seem to have problems. But this location was good, so after talking to the techs and decided to have them fix my minivan. Good communication, sent email updates. The car was repaired well, one item needed correcting, but they were very professional about it and made it right. Costs seemed fair as well... I've seen minor bumper damage cost $1K alone, but the cost to fix the bumper and liftgate was very fair. I'd recommend this Caliber location and would bring my car again. Karl, Nicole and everyone else (sorry don't know everyone's name) Are the kindest most friendly helpful staff I have ever met. They provide the ultimate superb customer experience and they do all the dirty work for you, yep they even hook you up with a rental car service if that's the route you go which shuttles you from Caliber Collision to Enterprise on Winchester (Another great bunch of Folks!!!). I've exceeded my limit in accidents (3 in the last year) but if (BIG IF) this is where I will go. . I even had issues with my dealership (very disappointing Toyota dealership!) who lied to me about my car and previous damage (nothing mentioned about prior damage on the carfax) and Karl was able to determine that there in fact had been significant damage done to my vehicle of which the dealership didn't want to repair (driver window stopped going down shortly after my sideswipe accident) Anyway, with Karl's help, he proved to Sunnyvale Toyota that they were liable for the electrical parts in the window and fixed it for me. Let me start by saying i am very disappointed with Caliber Collisions.I had a estimate done here as i was sent here by insurance so they made a estimate for the damages on my truck and gave me my copy so i waited for a call from the insurance for the next step. After weeks of waiting i finally called them up to see what was going on,They claimed that the person who wrote the original report couldn't be verified and that he had to write his own report by just looking at the photos they had. i found this ridiculous since this person had never looked at my truck in person? How can you write a report for damages on a vehicle you have never even seen before? I was left with a lot of questions on how the second report was $500 less of damages then the original report.In my opinion i am very unsatisfied with my time spent here. read more

I recently was in a minor car accident with our new car after about 2 week (yikes), and our insurance company recommended caliber collision for an estimate. I took the car over to Caliber Collision and met with Richard. He was very professional, and I was impressed with his knowledge of our car and all of the new car sensors that might need re-calibration etc. I was originally planning to take the car over for an estimate and do the repair work elsewhere but after reading their reviews and talking to Richard decided to leave it with Caliber. During the process Richard kept me updated as to progress and additional work required once they had a chance to inspect in more detail. They did all of the paperwork with the insurance company and completed the work exactly when they said they would. When it was time to pick up the car we just dropped off the rental car at the Caliber location and drove away with our car. The repair was flawless, it looked as good as new. Richard and the office staff at the Campbell location were all very friendly and helpful throughout the process. They helped make a very stressful situation painless. I had dealt once before with a body shop when someone backed into our previous car and the experience with Caliber and Richard was 10X better. The people at this auto repair shop did an outstanding job repairing our care for extensive front end damage. The work was done within the time period quoted. There are no issues with the operation of the car, it looks and drives as good as prior to the accident. Since the A/C condensor coil also had to be replaced, the refrigerant charge was a little low but they took care of it as soon as we brought it up. A few months later, I brought the car in for an estimate on a "little" parking lot scratch, they buffed out the scratch within minutes and sent me on my way, AT NO CHARGE! read more

On my way to visit relatives I was involved in a rear end accident on the freeway. I ended up rear ending a 2000 Izusu Rodeo. Back end was all metal and my Chevrolet Trax front end is mostly plastic. Eddie at Caliber wrote up my estimate and made sure I knew it could be higher if there was hidden damage. I did know that, but good thing they check for hidden damage. Some support parts were damaged too. They finished the repairs within the timeframe they quoted me. They were waiting for one last part and stayed late the day it arrived so they could finish the repair. Due to my circumstances they even picked up my Son so he could pick up the car for me. My boyfriend had just bought a 2014c Ford Fiesta for nine thousand dollars. It had only had 25k miles on it and was in perfect condition. He got into an accident on the 29th of december at no more than 10 miles per hour, and the plastic bumper came off. There was no more damage to the car other than that. Caliber let the car sit in their shop for two entire weeks doing NO work other than tearing apart the car to find whatever they could to "repair" for insane amounts of money. Not to mention the storage fee was $95 per day. After over two weeks, Caliber decided that the car had 3 more parts that needed repairing, even though the only damage was to the bumper that needed replacing. The original estimate was 2500-3500 dollars. That estimate was bumped up to 7600. That was then bumped up to OVER $10,000, because they decided that it was necessary to TEAR OUT THE ENGINE. We asked if we could take off the paint job on the bumper to lessen the cost, but they refused, calling it "mandatory". Not to mention that they were calling the paint drying on the bumper hours of labor for their workers. They were charging us four thousand dollars in a section called nothing other that "miscellanious". The people that work their do not care about the customer, they do not care about whether or not you keep your car, they only care about getting as much money as they possibly can. My boyfriend got into an accident at 10 miles per hour. He only needed to replace the plastic/fiberglass bumper. A cost that should have been no more than 3,000 dollars. They totaled out his car. A 2014 Ford Fiesta with less than 30k miles on it that he had bought not even 5 months before. Caliber has been the worst experience that we have both ever had when it comes to anything like this. If anyone is reading this and is thinking of using Caliber, DON'T. read more
