Doug and Israel should be fired. Not only do they lie to your face about working on your car but they'll mock you and make you feel stupid when you complain about the job they did. When I got my car back, I had to go back to them 3 different times. 3 different occasions! They had my car for a total of 3 months for a 3 week job. Every single time I get the car back there's always an issue they never finish. They always forget to put bolts and screws. They say they're working on your car but it's literally just sitting there. I have to always call them they never call me! Every time I get angry about the bs job they did Doug would laugh at me! Israel is just a straight up liar and has no control over his team. They don't know how to align bumpers or put the clips correctly. My front grille is not straight. They ruin my car the more I go back to get what they ruined fixed. I highly recommend you stay away from these clowns. They are the "clock in" and "clock out" type of people. They really don't care about your car. I have a 2018 BMW F80 M3 btw so it's not an ordinary car. They told me they worked on more expensive cars than mine but their work and customer service says otherwise. I'm disgusted. They buy the cheapest parts for your car so they could pocket as much profit as possible. I understand I made the mistake by crashing but they made the mistake of ruining my car. I have people who took their cars to Caliber and just got their car ruined. What else can they do if they can't fix the problem? They're horrible. They hire rookies. Take your car somewhere else. If they managed to ruin a $70,000 car and not have an explanation for you then what makes you think they'll care about any other car? $13,000 down the drain. Writing and update because they (new manager and Caliber team ) deserve it. After contacting my Ins (Farmers) the regional manager from Farmers called me and Dough the (new manager) from Caliber Collision. They met with my husband and we agreed to take the car back there for the 3 time. This is because Dough assures us he will take care of the car and do it right. He inspected the car one more time and notice the faults on poor paint job. I've received a call from Dough to tell me my car was ready. I met with him again and he went an extra mile with my car. It looks how I expected the first 2 times. My car looks AMAZING, he even send my car to get it detailed inside and out. He takes pride of his work and he sure knows how to make it right. read more

I really wish i could leave a positive review as Mike who helped us seemed like a nice guy. I was rear ended on January 29th which also caused me to hit the car in front of me,I drive a 2017 Nissan Maxima. Sadly since then it has seemed like a never ending cycle to get things right. After getting my car back weeks later , I had to return it yet again for issues with a crooked exhaust, chipped paint and paint overspray. Weeks later I noticed issues with my front bumper lifting at the corners and even though I was hesitant, I took it back in. Unfortunately I received my car back with now different fitment issues with the headlights and bumper, as well as yet again chipped paint. I will now have to ask State Farm to allow me to use a different body shop to fix everything that Caliber has done. Two weeks before the Christmas holiday my car was damaged while parked at a Palm Springs supermarket parking lot. AAA referred me to Caliber Collision Center. I was able to get an appointment the same day that I called for them to inspect the damage. The reception staff is very efficient and Robert made the whole experience easy and manageable. I was especially concerned about the timing of the repairs just before Christmas. I originally went in on a Friday and was told they could do the repair in one day on the following Monday. I took my car in and repairs were delayed by one day because all the parts did not come in at the same time. Robert was an excellent communicator and let me know about the delays. I was in an accident and had originally taken my car to the Caliber Collision up the road where i was met with Robert who is very unprofessional and lacks basic customer service skills. After multiple attempts of trying to get in contact with Robert i decided to take my car elsewhere. Still a bit skeptical i took my car to a different Caliber Collision just up the road. Immediately they were very honest and transparent with me. I had purchased a used 2020 Lexus SUV that apparently had some previous front end damage, but had been repaired in El Monte, CA. Due to the recent hot temperatures here in the desert, the front bumper began to separate from the left and right front quarter panels. This was a known issue. I took my SUV to a repair shop and was quoted nearly $3,000. Since this was not caused by an accident, my insurance and the Lexus warrantee would not cover the cost. A friend directed me to Calibr Collision, near Date Palm Drive and Perez Road in Cathedral City. There I contacted Doug Prosise, manager. He was so kind and within 10 minutes, he had his crew epoxy the bumper to the quarter panels, which should have been done when it was fixed the first time in El Monte, and for a LOT LESS than the earlier estimate by the other repair shop. This place is amazing. I got rear-ended and lost my rear window the day before I was supposed to drive back to San Francisco from Palm Springs, and Caliber Collision got my car ready to make the long drive in the desert summer. I showed up at 1:00 pm and got immediate assistance. They said their work would take an hour so the manager drove me to a restaurant where I could have a bite to eat while I waited. He offered to pick me up as well but I decided to walk back. They basically vacuumed up the broken glass and put a sheet of crash plastic over the window, but they did a great job of taping it down and even gave me a roll of tape to take with me in case I needed it. The best part: they didn't charge me a cent. Too bad I don't live in the area; this would be my go to repair shop. read more

Yesterday's visit to Caliber was probably one of the best visits to any service I have been to in a while. I took my husband's van to them at the recommendation of Toyota of the Desert. The side sliding door to the van wasn't closing and my husband uses our van to deliver for the local food bank and to drive his mom around. I brought it in to Todd Markley, the general manager. He asked if I had between 30 to 60 minutes to see what could be done and if it was possible, I may have to bring the car back for a full day. If it couldn't be fixed, it might cost me a new car door. That sounded great to me. I got a cup of coffee from the office, sat down and 20 minutes later he said I can go home. He fixed it himself! I was very happy to hear. He was able to use a few washers and didn't charge me. I know it sounds a little cheesy, but pockets of humanity still exist! Thank you. read more

After receiving my car I noticed sand damage or metal shards damage to my windshield. As if it was placed in the middle of the desert or more realistically around metal work.. my paint was severely scratched in other areas that did not need work.. very very disappointed about it.. wtf can ya do except write a review and notify the company.. due to COVID the wait time was extended and parts were missing. I understand that part but there's no reason why my paint should be damaged in other areas and windshield scratched and chipped SEVERELY... Totally disappointed. read more

While making a turn one day I hit the center curb on the road with the left front wheel of my car. In the process I damaged the front grill slightly, the front fender a lot, lost a hub cap, scraped the wheel, damaged the tire and put the front wheels out of alignment. My partner recommended Caliber Collision for the repair, but even with his recommendation, I approached the repair with a little anxiety. You see, I don't know a lot about cars, and as such I know I can appear to be a potential sucker to car service providers. But I am usually pretty good at sizing up a salesperson's integrity. As soon as I walked into Caliber Collision, however, my anxiety level decreased. The receptionist was friendly and because I had made an appointment greeted me by my name with a question mark - just in case I wasn't who I was. But she got my name right, and I appreciated the personal touch. My service advisor, John Von Neumann, made me feel even more comfortable. There was no hard sell - just the facts as to what would be necessary to repair my vehicle as completely as possible, leaving the decisions up to me as to how far toward this goal I wanted to go. He kept me informed during the entire repair process and did not hit me with any surprises -- except that the total cost came in a few hundred dollars less than had been estimated! If someone says they will call you back, they do. I was notified every step of the way of the progress of my repair.
