Mike and the whole team did an extraordinary job on my honda civic 2006. After a fender bender that left my right bumper broken and missing and my passenger door unable to open I brought it to Caliber Collision and they fixed it up like new. I came back because I noticed my alignment needed work. Mike offered to work on my car right away that way I wouldn't need to bring it back a different day. Their service and attitude is on the level of Disneyland workers. There are smiles and the staff makes you feel important and cared for. Not the first time we have taken a car to this establishment, but definitely the last. No more passes...even for convenience sake! Last two cars repaired at Caliber have had paint bubbles or chipping, one at delivery of repaired vehicle and the other a year later when paint started to chip. My new car was hit and guilty party took off so off to Caliber to get an estimate for repairs. Israel was the service consultant, not very knowledgeable and equally as rude. Gave me an eyeball estimate within expected dollar amount. However, the written estimate far exceeded the damage or his original estimate given just minutes before! Charged for items that were not necessary nor warranted due to the superficial damage only to the bumper. Over-inflated the hours needed to repair my car along with unnecessary line items. I acquired two more estimates in addition to that received at Caliber Collision, Chino. My first clue as to how inflated his estimate would be was when he asked me if I intended to get other estimates and I said no. So he over-inflated the estimate based on my reply. Won't be going back again! BTW, went to another shop recommended by a friend and couldn't be happier with the repair...or the final cost. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and prices were fair without insisting on unnecessary items to jack up the price of the repair. read more

I was really upset with the quality of work they give you . They supposedly guaranteed their work for life and when I came back for a simple bumper repair that they had screwed up in the first place they had tried telling me it was my fault . Would not act on their guarantee and left my car in bad condition as well as not fully replacing all parts needed for the repair and a bad re-paint job . read more

Do not go here!! If I could give zero stars I would. I came to this place because my insurance recommended it after an accident that I was not at fault for. My car didn't need too much work, they told me it would take two weeks. It ended up taking a month! They never ONCE called me first, I was always left hanging and had to contact them. They probably would have went the whole month without contacting me. They messed up the paint job and had to redo it twice. I was not responsible for paying the deductible because my insurance waved it, but even though I reminded them THREE different times of this, they tried to con me into paying it. They told me I couldn't take my car until I paid my deductible. Exactly the type of thing I was trying to avoid. When I finally took my car home, the next day I realized they didn't fix the visor on the passenger side, the air conditioning, and they somehow managed to mess up the lighting on my dashboard. My vehicle was involved in a minor "accident". Perhaps about $1,500 or so repair. My insurance suggested this place because it is in their network and they would 100% guarantee their work and won't for other shops. I trusted Progressive and took my car to this place. At first I was told an estimated damage by Caliber, then 3 days after I was told damage was 12k and my car was going to be totaled. After trying to fight it with my insurance, I couldn't buy it back nor cancel the claim to repair on my own. I got the repair "estimate" of it, and the amount of bullsh*t that was on there such as; replacement of headlight assembly (my headlights are perfectly fine), replacement of the most insignificant things that were fine on my vehicle. All the small stupid things they added caused the vehicle to get totaled. Never would go to this place again. Plus you have to be harassing them and calling them all the time to even get any word about your claim/ car. Some of the staff is nice but their business ethics are not. I was given my car back for a few day to remove my personal belongings and when I received it back, no electric things were working, no radio, no door locks, no window power. NOTHING. It wasn't a collision that happened. My car was not like this, the condition my car was given to me was disgusting. Not to mention how they ripped off my seat covers ($500) during their estimate and stretched them, and their towing company they use curb rashed my wheels, my rear bumper, sideskirts as well. They don't care about their customers, they care about getting paid. Total rip off shop. If you care about your personal belongings stay away from this place. I will never go back here!!! I went into caliber Collision for body damage to the front of my car, no damage to my headlights, no bumper, only the hood, which they quoted 9000 in damage. After I got my car back I drove off the lot and my engine starts smoking and then they say oh your engine is bad which will cost another 3500 to fix. My car only had body damage to it and now they saying I had a bad engine on a brand new car. They did no properly inspect my car at all!! they are thief's, I do not recommend anyone to go there unless you want to get ripped off. read more

This place looks nice, they did a good job on my car, and they are friendly. Only major downside is that they are very wishy washy with your completion date. I brought my car in on September 8th, they said they would have it done and ready by September 11th. Called in September 9th saying my car would be ready on the 18th, then called in on the 11th and said my car would be done by 3pm on the 12th... car was not ready by the 12th.. I ended up picking my car up on September 17th. They kept lifting and then dropping my hopes. read more

I dropped my car last week (5/6) for a bumper and tail light repair. I was suppose to get the car Friday(5/8) but they told me the car all of a sudden wouldn't start. Then Monday (5/11) they told me they fix it by replacing the car's remote battery (without requesting my permission). When i picked up the car the driver's seat control is not working at all. Then Tuesday(5/12) they had someone reset the car circuit but the only thing that doesn't work is I'm unable to lock the car using the remote - i now have manually do it! If there is such a thing as a negative score I will give this shop a -5 score! Specially the service advisor who handled my case - Mr. A! Mr. A is the epitome of a providing horrible customer service and is good regarding giving BS reasons to avoid blame. He is unprofessional and doesn't take accountability of his actions. He even told me to bring my car to the dealership to have it fix on my own. After I complained about my car's remote key they drove my car to a dealership in Riverside---In fairness they offered to take my car in Walter's so I was pleased by that but why drive all the way to Riverside where you can go to West Covina or Ontario? Anyhow, the dealership assessed that I need to replace the entire remote key because it was damaged and root cause was corrosion - Hmmmm I dropped the car to the shop and was able to use the remote key to lock the car, then the shop replaced the battery without asking owner's permission, then remote key was damaged by corrosion?...this makes anyone really think hard isn't it? Replacing the remote key requires the owner to go the the dealership and sign a piece of paper - what happened to technology where you can securely do transactions online? To conclude I end up spending $110 worth to get a new remote key plus two week worth of stress and hassle from dealing with Calliber staff - Mr. A! Mr. A has the AUDACITY to reprimand me about the comment I left in Yelp!- He told me "Do not leave negative comments in Yelp! - my manager reads those. Ah Mr. A first of all I am NOT the only one who had negative customer experience with your shop and number 2, there is a purpose why we have YELP - this is to provide feedback - constructive or positive to help readers who maybe thinking of using your service. We have to be professional and accountable of our actions towards customer. read more

This shop was recommended by my insurance company. It was such a mistake to use this body shop to save $100 deductible. They did not fully fix the problems and I had to trade in my car and buy a new one. read more

Back in July I went on vacation to Palm Desert, CA...as I was exiting the freeway...something hit my car. Now mind you this was at 10pm. After realizing that my car's bumper was damaged I called the insurance, made a claim and I thought that I can get my car fixed before I returned back to my home town of Chino HIlls. I thought I would go to Caliber Collison in Catherdal City and be able to receive the same service I did at the Caliber Collison in Chino. WAS I WRONG!!!! Going to CC in Chino you could just walk in and ask if anyone is available to look at your car. My time being just as valuable as theirs they accomadate to you. In Catherdal City, I didn't know I had to make an appointment. Realizing that I was not at home, I made the appointment for the next day for 1:30. I arrived the next day before 1pm. I was told that the guy that was suppose to look at my car was out to lunch and would not be back until after 1:30. A techinican decided to help me out and took the car in the back to take pictures of the damages. to make it safe for me to drive he added a few extra screws to old the bumper in place so I can drive it. I was told that I can take the car back and the guy would look at the pictures to determine collison or comprehension....By closing the NEXT day I had to call and find out what the deal was. THe insurance called me and said it was Collison....I argued the fact and mention that the adjuster didn't even physically look at my car. After going back and forth the insurance company said to take it back home in Chino and have them take a look at it. Raphael who works there took a look at the car and saw other damages that were not told to the insurance company and more pictures were taken. The receptionists in the front lobby were so nice and understanding, the friendliness was refreshing. My car is repaired and in great condition...THanks Guys for having great customer service...Oh, it ended up being Comprehension...no deductible for me....yeah! read more

On December 6th I was rear ended at a stoplight and I was devastated. Luckily the damage wasn't too bad but still, the holidays were right around the corner and this wasn't something else I wanted to pay for. Luckily, the person who hit me gave me his insurance information and the whole deal was taken care of. My insurance guy told me there were places in Ontario that would take care of my car and get it fixed to how it was before the incident, but instead I decided to check out Caliber Collision since it was really close to where I live. And I must say, the people there were very friendly and attentive to my needs. I must say, the man who took care of me was Israel Ruiz. He was very attentive, professional, and honest with me. He took my car in, answered all my questions that I had, informed me about all the work that would done on my car so that I would not be left in the dark and not know what was going on. Israel was also very honest with me. When I would call to check up on the progress of my car, he would tell me straight forward that "it isn't where he wants it to be". I appreciated that he told the truth instead of lying and giving the car back not looking as good as it looks now that I have it. When I got the car back, it looked amazing. Israel and his team fixed everything that was messed up from the accident, washed my car, detailed and waxed it. Everything about it when I picked up my car was incredible. It felt like I was driving a brand new car. Israel, his team, and everyone at Caliber Collision was such a pleasure to be handled by. Okay so it took 8 business days to get my car back, the estimate was 7 so that's really good, they would've got it back to me on the original estimate but there was a part that was on back order so no biggie. The customer Service does need some work they seem kinda annoyed that your there. And if you don't want to get mad attitude then don't call to ask about your car, they lady on the phone had a very stern tone and pretty much gave the vibe to not call back and that they'll call you but whatever. The work on my car was just a front bumper replacement and it looked very good, it looked brand new so I'm very happy about that. It would've been very expensive however lucky I went through my insurance so I didn't have to worry about the price I just had to pay my deductible and that was that. So if I had to pay out of pocket I wouldn't have gone there I got quoted 2000 and a Mom and pop shop and here the total was a little under 4000. However they replaced everything I asked and more so A+ there. The only reason why I'm giving them 3 out of 5 instead of the perfect 5 is just the customer service was awful, I didn't want to be there longer than I had too. read more

Had a great experience at Caliber. From the estimate, to the vehicle check-in to the time my vehicle was released to me. I cannot remember the name of the service writer, but she kept her promise on having my vehicle as promised. I really appreciate the courtesy calls and updates through out the repair process. My truck is black and Caliber did a great job on the prep and paint, black is really hard to work with but it is no problem to Caliber, my truck repair/paint turned out awesome. My truck was even detailed when I picked it up. Dealt with Rudy at the end and Rudy has a passion for what he does and pays attention to detail. Dealing with Rudy made all the difference at the end and seeing how passionate he is about what he does and paying attention to detail. I will be coming to Caliber for all my repairs and paint and I highly recommend their work. Great experience from star to finish. I am very picky and glad I found Caliber. read more

I have to say, I've experienced nothing but excellent customer service here. We had the car worked on once before under an insurance claim, and they did a great job with the body work. However, what really spurred me to write this review, though, was my experience on Monday. I took my car in to get an estimate on a door ding. The estimator came out to look at it, and I guess it was more of a smudge than a ding, so she offered to have it polished off for me right then at no charge! I have an infant and it's extremely difficult to get these sorts of errands run, so I really really appreciated her taking care of it right away...and for free nonetheless!! I can't say enough about how great the service was for us. Our 2001 Odyssey was totaled but insurance decided to have it repaired anyway. Besides the obvious body repairs, there were many mechanical issues (A/C, transmission, rear door motors, etc) which were not correctly repaired by the Caliber Collision center in Walnut. We took it to the Chino shop and they fixed everything 100%. The staff and mechanics were professional and friendly. After a year the A/C failed again and they replaced the compressor free of charge. They stand behind their work! If six stars were possible, I'd give them six. read more

I brought my car in on Friday. After completing the requested form and waited for 15 minutes a rep came to inspect my car. After half an hour he verbally told me the estimate and asked me for my email address and said he will email me the quote before going home. A week pass by no email or call. On the following Thursday I walked in there and gentlemen was standing at the counter. Asked for the quote his answer was I forgot. Ok get my file and let me know. Sorry I think I lost the file. Got my license plate ripped off the front of my car and dragged along the bumper, leaving a nasty black streak on my formerly gold-colored car. Went in expecting a long wait coupled with an explanation about how I would need a new bumper and would have to wait weeks before I could drive again. What I got was a 20 minute wait tops from writing my information to driving away with my car looking like its old self again. Just wanted to commend Caliber Collision in Chino Hills for doing a good job of repairing my car. I was amazed how seamless this particular experience was. They have an Enterprise Car Rental desk in the building, which makes renting a car very efficient. I want to commend Josh Sill, the service advisor, who looked at my car on Friday, set me up with an 8 am appointment for Monday to bring my car in. When I arrived on Monday, Josh greeted me, the paperwork was ready and including the stop at the car rental desk, I was on my way in 15 minutes or less!! Claudia at the Enterprise desk was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient, as was the Caliber Collision office staff. Josh, called me on Tuesday to update the repair on my car, (they call the customer on Tuesday and Thursday to update the repair) Josh called me with the good news on Wednesday that my car was ready. What also made this experience so seamless is that this location is one of State Farm Insurance Select Service Repair Facilities. After my initial phone call to my State Farm Claim office, everything was handled electronically, including the car rental, because of the "Select Service" designation. I was also kept in the loop by State Farm, receiving emails at each step of the way. I would highly recommend this car repair facility. Horrible service, I will never go there again. I will also make sure to let everyone know about my horrible experience with the work that was done on my vehicle. I have been to the office 6 times to get my car fixed and every time I go in, employee named Mike just does a mediocre job and states that is all he can do. That I need to see manager Steve Mercado, I have tried but every time I ask for him manager is in a meeting. The issue started when I took my car due to a accident, they originally had to remove the front bumper to replace the side doors. Now the front bumper is sticking out about an inch gap. The only thing that was wrong with my vehicle when I had originally brought in was the side passenger doors and not the bumper, so not sure why they can't fix a mistake that was caused by them. I am very dissatisfied with the service and quality of work, I will make sure to write other reviews and inform my insurance company of the issue, so this problem won't happen to someone else. read more
