I went to Caliber to get my car fixed from an accident I had back in July 2022. I ran over a piece of metal on the highway blowing out both right tires and damaging my suspension among other things. I took my car here because they worked on another vehicle I had many years ago and it honestly wasn't a question for me to take it there. (Not the same location though). From the very beginning they were so careful with my car, keeping me informed, letting me process all the things, taking my calls. I ended up having to bring it back because I was hearing a squeaking noise when I turned and could feel it in my steering wheel. They couldn't really see anything wrong so they did try to tighten parts etc but I did end up having to come back because I still heard the noise. They took my car back immediately, paid for a rental so I could still go about my day-to-day, and didn't even give me any flack or issues about whether or not it would cover under the lifetime warranty I have through them. They noticed an issue that wasn't even something they touched but still fixed it at no cost to me and even showed me what it was so I could get the other side fixed. I didn't even know my warranty through Volkswagen was about to be up and they graciously told me so I could get the other side fixed and not have to pay for it. I took my car to Volkswagen. Even though they weren't involved, Caliber still answered my calls, questions, and corresponded with my service advisor at Volkswagen. I went through so many twists and turns with Volkswagen warranty department, my insurance, new issues arising with my car, and feeling like I was getting nowhere. But Caliber always was there to help me through it and tried to figure out a way to help get my car back. Just this week I called them after a month with no communication and they remembered me and my issues I had and even offered to get on a call with Volkswagen as kind of like a support. They literally covered the issue under their warranty and I know for certain they didn't have to. I've been so lucky to have Michael & Cody work with me because it's been so stressful. I still don't have my car from Volkswagen but we're on the home stretch and I know for a fact that if anything else does come up, I can call Michael or Cody up and they would help me immediately. Tanya at reception is such a delight too! She was welcoming and pleasant each time I walked in the door. When you're an emotional mess and love your vehicle like it was a child, you want someone to rely on and help you. This was me. This was them. Caliber is excellent! read more

Unprofessional and no communication. Dropped my car off for repair. 3 days later I called for an update and was told they couldn't repair the car. The guy even mentioned I might have to be charged storage fees because I couldn't immediately pick it up. Totally disappointed and will never go back to Caliber Collision. read more

Hello Neighbors, We're knew to Krum and the Denton area. I would like to share my recent experience at Caliber Collision's Denton, TX location (3851 I-35 Frontage Rd) regarding hail damage repair on my vehicle. I'm sharing this information because reviews are everything when making decisions as to who we will do business with and who we should stay far away from. A representative named Nelson provided an estimate for over $11,000, which I found too expensive. Despite multiple calls to pick up my vehicle, Tanya told me to wait for Nelson's return to sign the paperwork. When I finally picked up my vehicle, I noticed it struggling to switch gears on the highway, and the check engine light came on. I took it to Toyota Dealership, who informed me that the transmission had failed. Upon contacting Caliber Collision, a manager named Cody was dismissive, and Tom Burch had to intervene. I was forced to pay over $2,800 for transmission repair instead of the $6,000 Toyota had quoted. Months later, I visited Toyota for a routine oil change and tire rotation, and they discovered that the hood trim had been switched out and was not the original part. They documented this in writing and showed me their surveillance footage. I contacted Tom Burch, who provided a gift card to replace the hood trim. He assured me there were no other issues with my vehicle besides the transmission they had damaged. Caliber Collision had no business altering my transmission nor stealing and switching out my parts. I am disappointed and feel that my trust has been abused. The employees treated me poorly, damaged my vehicle, and switched out parts fraudulently. I sent a certified letter to CEO/President David Simmons requesting reimbursement for the transmission repair cost but received no response. I urge consumers and insurance providers to be cautious when considering Caliber Collision's services. When I dropped it off, my vehicle was in perfect condition and was damaged while in their care. The stalling, deceptive practices, unprofessionalism, lying, not being present when I picked up my vehicle, and leaving their iPhone charger inside are unacceptable. My great experience started with Tonya at the front desk. When I called to make my appointment, she was so informative, very friendly and so helpful. She called and made my Enterprise reservation amd welcomed me when I brought my car in. Once I arrived, I met Nelson our service advisor who was handling my car. He was so friendly and professional. He took his time to mark the door dings, walked the car with my husband and explained the process thoroughly. Nelson let us know it would be about 3 weeks. He provided daily updates, which I was thrilled about and even messaged me to let me know when he was going to be off one day. The daily updates provided a link to an app that provided the cost and status of my repairs. My car was washed and ready on the exact date promised. Had a minor fender bender recently, my insurance company recommended Caliber Collision to perform the repairs. Tony went over the preliminary estimate with me and we discussed OEM parts rather than aftermarket for body parts, and then about my custom headlights. He told me upfront they don't do custom wiring but would install the lights in the car. After having trouble with a vendor the car was finally finished with the exception of the custom lighting. After giving it a once over at home I noticed a couple small issues with the car, I called the next morning and scheduled a time that day to bring the car back to the shop. I showed Tony the issues, they took the car in the shop and corrected the issues. Other than causing two of the plastic fan shroud mounting tabs to crack from over tightening I'm very happy with the work. My 2007 Dodge Charger SRT8 looks great again. After being a huge advocate for Caliber from being a customer over the past several years...I have recently had the worst experience that I could imagine. I do not fault them for the long wait to drop after initial call or the long wait to repair due to parts issues. Only being able to speak to a young lady who offered continuous apologies, unable to explain or offer much detail, and not receiving call back from anyone else when I asked. When I contacted them, they said that they just contact the location and see if the day and time I want is available. They said that I could contact the location directly if I wanted to, and talk to them directly... Just a big circle seeming to go nowhere. read more

EXCELLENT customer service! Sara, Keith, the front desk ladies, Jerry & the entire staff went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our service. We came to this location after an unfortunate accident and spoke with Sara about the damages. We inspected the car together and they gave us a rental through our insurance. I was in an accident in the Spring. I had my vehicle taken to this location on the recommendation of my insurance company and the fact that it was not too far from my home. I stopped by on several occasions to ask about repairs. I also made a few phone calls checking. I was told that Sarah would be contacting me. three and a half weeks after I had my vehicle taken to this location (and just before my rental car coverage ran out), I was told that they were going to total my truck. BTW, the next call I get from Sarah will be the FIRST call I got from Sarah. TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION. They had my cell phone number and my home phone and would not call and did not return calls. Please explain why you need my name, address, email, photos of my odometer, and pictures of all angles of my car (not just the damage) in order to provide a quote. I understand name, VIN, and phone number, but the other requested information is a violation of privacy. When I questioned the estimator, he said , "we don't sell your information." Ok, why does Caliber need the extra information? The other repair shops did not require anything other than my name, phone, and VIN. Not to mention, Caliber was the most expensive of 3 estimates. read more

These guys were amazing. Some of the best service I've ever experienced. I pulled into Caliber Collision one morning without an appointment to have them look at my bumper that was sticking out because of a missing bolt. They said it would be an easy fix they could have done in under a few hours and would charge me at most $100. They could also pick me up/drop me off to make it more convenient. I went ahead and left my vehicle. They called me a couple of times to update me of progress and then brought me my car when it was done faster than I expected. Even better, because it turned out to be easier than they expected, they didn't even charge me. What service! They went above and beyond all expectations.
