Let's face it, the only reason you end up here is due to an unfortunate circumstance. Ours was being the victims of a hit and run that left our vehicle with some nasty damage. We chose this place based on good reviews plus the fact that they are a preferred provider with our our insurance company. Throughout the entire process they were very transparent. They kept us updated on the status of the repair with phone calls and texts including photos, which definitely gave us confidence in their work. Furthermore, the repair was completed exactly when they said it would be when we first dropped off the car. And, the finished product looks as good as new. Trying to navigate the murky waters of finding a trustworthy repair place can be stressful to say the least. After all, it's easier to be taken advantage of when you're distressed and desperate. Thankfully, Caliber Collision is fair and expeditious in their practices. I hope we never find ourselves in this situation again, but if we did, I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. read more

Superb customer service! I was in an accident and Caliber made the insurance claim repair process simple. The team works very efficiently and quickly to get you in and out on your way. I was most impressed by the text updates I would receive from my service advisor Scott. I was able to reach out via email, text or phone call whichever was most convenient and would always receive a response. If you are renting from Enterprise they have a shuttle that comes and picks you up to drive over to their store in Grapevine as well. I used this location a couple of times. Last time I got sandwiched. Repairs went smoothly. Over last couple of years I've had a couple of very minor issues that weren't Cailbers fault at all. They always repaired them with grace. My rear bumper started separating Went to check it out The first gentleman that came out wasn't very interested. I made an appt the next day with Melissa Miller. What a delight. She looked it over. Got on her knees on the hot Texas cement. Saw the problem. Ordered the part. She told once the part was there it would 15 minutes to repair. That's what I'm talking about!!! She was true to her world. Pulled in They took it back. A few minutes later it was done. I've waited in line longer at Whataburger!!! Thank you Melissa. We took my sons car in for repair on August 27th. When we picked it up three weeks later it was only half repaired. To say I was shocked would be an understatement. I'm not sure what was worse, the fact it took them three weeks to only fix half the issues or the fact that somebody looked at it and said this looks good? Mind you these were pretty minor repairs. Needless to say my sons truck is still not fixed and it is now two full months after we took it in for repairs the first time. I was informed last month that they have the parts in stock but don't have time to fix it until after the 1st of the year. Lesson here is don't pay them until your completely satisfied with the job they did because once they have your money, they could care less about fixing their mistakes. Communication with them has been nothing short of poor, lots of promises, etc. Hands down the worst bodyshop experience I have encounted in my lifetime. I would also like to point out, if you read the reviews below, CC only comments on the positive reviews left for their services but they don't comment on the negative feedback. They don't even try to explain their position or apologize for their mistakes. That should be very telling to anyone who is considering using them in the future. read more

Terrible customer service. Rudely informed us they will not do a quote without an appointment, even when the office is full of people not doing anything. Then, after waiting another week, refused our request to consider repairing only the most pressing issues for starters. All or nothing, including items we never brought to their attention. This car belongs to my 16 year old daughter. More minor dents will happen. I just need to make sure it's safe...but I'll do that at some other shop because Caliber obviously doesn't need the work. This place is an absolute disaster and needs to be avoided at all costs in my opinion. Dropped off car here for a minor repair after someone backed into it because it was on my insurance company's "preferred" list. Huge mistake. First time the car was "ready" to pick up, a light literally fell out of place after leaving their shop. The car was then "ready" for pick several times thereafter, each time with extremely poor bodywork, fit, and finish. It got to the point where they started texting me photos to see if the work was acceptable. Finally after two months for a repair that should have taken a week, I had enough and picked up the car. After picking it up, it had a clunking noise in the front end where they worked on the car. I took it to a wheel and tire shop and they immediately discovered Caliber had only hand-tightened the lug nuts to the wheel when re-installing. The wheel could have easily fallen off causing a loss of control and severely injuring or killing someone. Now I have to take the car to yet a different body shop in attempt to get the repairs done correctly. read more

I rarely leave bad reviews but I felt compelled to as not only did they mess up multiple times on my first encounter with them (leaving me in a bind), when I brought the mistake to their attention they were unapologetic and didn't even attempt to make it right. I brought my car in today (Monday) for an estimate that I scheduled the day before with Caliber Collision's call center as their service center is closed on Sundays. I had to take off work to make the appointment but I wanted to get my car fixed ASAP as someone reversed into me in a parking lot over the weekend and dinged my car to where I didn't want to be driving it around until the car was repaired. As I was driving to take my car in for my 10 AM appointment I called Caliber Collision at the Grapevine Service Center where my appointment was scheduled for and told them my name and let them know I would be there by 10:05 and just wanted to let them know I was a few minutes behind -the front desk lady (her name is either Sammi or Tammi I believe-whatever her name is, she is not good at her job) told me that it was no problem and that she would let the attendant know and that they would be able to get me in for my scheduled appointment. Well obviously she didn't bother to tell the attendant or check up on my scheduled appointment because when I got there and spoke to her in person she looked at me confused when I told her my name once again and that I was there for my 10 AM appointment. She at that point very matter-of-fact informed me that I had no appointment in their system as apparently the lady at the call center the day before failed to successfully put my appointment in their schedule and soonest they could get me in was next Monday, in one week. I asked if there was anything they could do as I didn't want to wait a week driving around a damaged car and that I had to take off work to make this appointment- she didn't even bother to try to work me in as she said everyone was "too busy" although she didn't ask her manager on inquire with anyone else to see if they cold try to work me in and make it right. As she was telling me this another customer walked in with NO APPOINTMENT and was inquiring about getting the hood of his car painted and he asked if there was anyone who could take a look at it. The other attendant without hesitation offered to help the customer and the two immediately walked out and inspected his vehicle. I then asked the front desk lady how was it possible that they were able to help the customer who walked in AFTER ME with NO APPOINTMENT and "inspect" his car but not mine when I had an appointment and was there before him and needed the exact same thing done, someone to inspect my car. Not to mention, at that same moment, there were two other attendants/workers sitting at their desks chatting about their weekend doing nothing. I again asked her again, if see could check to see if there was anyway to work me in. Without hesitation or checking with anyone else, she once again rudely stated that no one could help me and that I would have to come back in one week. While I have 0 desire to move forward with Caliber Collision as they have wasted my time and money without any apology or effort to make it right, I am almost handcuffed to go with them since I am going through insurance and it could be even more timely to try to switch to another service provider. I will provide an updated review at the completion of the work and if they "make it right" I will update the post accordingly or if they continue to treat me with awful service I will add to it... read more

Caliber Collision did an amazing job replacing my bumper on my Scion TC. The manager went above and beyond and replaced the handle to my trunk that broke years prior to the accident that brought me to Caliber- all I had to do was pay for the part! AWESOME, right? I would've given them a 5 star but the only complaint I had was my experience with the front desk secretary with dirty blonde/brownish hair, fair skin and a skinny figure. I stood right in front of the desk waiting as she continued a personal conversation with a colleague across the room. Once she finished I was greeted with a snarky attitude paired with the ugliest b****face. She made it very obvious that she did NOT want to assist me or she just hates her life. read more

I gave them 2 more stars just for reaching out and want to make things right. Thank you Clayton I appreciate you. There needs to be more people who are willing to do what you have done. *Our truck was in a collision back in March and the radio was working we drove it home and when it was picked up from my home. But when we got it back, the cd that was in the radio was placed in my Center console and the radio started clicking. When this was brought to their attention they tried to contact my insurance company to get it place on the claim instead of taking responsibility. When my husband and I ask why they tried to say it was damaged in the accident. We contacted our insurance to inform them that it was working fine after the accident. They then stated they would replace it and call when it came in. We got busy in our schedule and the call never came. We called them 2 months later to find that the radio had came in but was shipped back because no one had a clue who it was for. It was reordered and promised to call us within 3 days to bring them the truck. We yet again had to call them. The 2 stars is because the damage on the truck was repaired. But my top of the line sprayin bed liner was replaced with something that looks like a rushed job. read more

I went into the shop to see if someone could give me an estimate on repairing my bumper. When I walked in, the three men at their computers barely acknowledged me. Finally he asked if he could help me and I asked about an estimate. He asked if I had an appointment and I said no, do I need one? He said at this point they are not doing estimates and I asked to make an appointment for the an estimate and he said no. I said to him well that's a good problem to have if your that busy. I was not rude, indifferent or anything, but left feeling very confused that they wouldn't offer a time for me or anyone. Will not be going back at all. read more

I came in today to get my car inspected as i have for many years now at that location. When you come to this location, you're not treated like a dollar sign and the next "job", you are treated like a human being. I learned sadly today, that Sabrina the office manager is no longer there and was let go by the bought out company of Caliber Collision. This saddens me because as a customer you rely on people like her smiling face and words of comfort in your stressful times of need. I have stage 4 cancer. I have been battling this for over a year now and what Caliber doesn't understand is she was not just another "employee", she is a person who genuinely cares for the customers that were Craig's. She went above and beyond for MANY customers, as there were two in the office today that said they couldn't believe this either, including myself. She has called my home on many occasions just to check up on me. Any time i have come in, she has sat with me, holding my hand and asked me about my treatments and how i am doing. Offered her free time to come to my home and help me shop for groceries or clean up my home. She is the prime example of what a great employee is, she is the leading example for any employer for great customer service. I sadly will no longer take my business there, due to a company that doesn't see the value of their employees. Though i still have Mitch Smith there to help me if i am ever in dyer need, because he is also a great and valuable person to that location. I feel bad for this store as i know they will miss her as much as the customers will. She was a true asset for many years at that location and it won't ever be the same without her face there to let you know that everything will be ok...Truly saddened to hear this news.
