Patricia, the front desk receptionist is a horrible human being. She accused me of being a liar about a situation that's ongoing. Mind you, she's the front desk receptionist. She is very disrespectful and treated me horribly today. She was trying her best to get a rise out of me, but I obviously knew what she was trying to do so I stayed respectful. She definitely should not be dealing with customers because she is emotionally unstable and unaware. I don't know what's going on in her personal life, but she need to not bring her problems to work because it's not a good look for Caliber Collision. I will be making a complaint to the corporate offices to make them aware of how I was talked to and treated today and in greater detail. After the encounter of her disrespect a worker who quietly heard the whole encounter approached me and told me I should file a complaint and that he was ashamed of her and the way she acted. I was told even when I left the office she had disrespectful things to say about me to the service advisor.smh Mind you, I was nothing but respectful to this lady. What she had the right to be mad about is unknown... If anyone should be mad it should be me (That's the confusing thing). Getting hit in an accident is stressful enough, and having a receptionist disrespect you for no reason at all is down right wrong! I had half my bumper hanging off my car after a run-in with a metal post, and it was looking like it was going to run me several thousand dollars I couldn't afford. Thomas Tran, the GM, took a look at my car. He was very gracious and understanding of my situation, not wanting to break the bank to get the bumper repaired. He offered to shear the hanging part of the bumper off of the car for no charge, which will at least let me go about my day without the bumper flying off and hitting somebody. With my car being brand-new and Covid still being an ongoing problem parts took so long to come in but I felt like I was in good hands with Ruby because she called me every single day and updated me. She was absolutely amazing when the work was done she called me to come pick up my car and it was in perfect condition, looks like it just came off the lot at the dealership. I cam here to sign paperwork for a settlement check after an accident - I was told it would be super easy and that it would take 5-10 minutes. Lies lies lies. I came here originally on a Friday morning around 11am. The nice lady at the front desk was extremely polite and helpful. The GEICO representative who helped me told me that there was something wrong with my paperwork and it would need to be re-done. A bit frustrating but I understood, mistakes happen. She also informed me that the GEICO reps do settlements checks between 3-4:30pm and that I should come only in between those times. That's weird - a 1.5 hour window in the middle of a work day. Not very user friendly if you ask me. I asked her why there was such a limited time slot and she said that they have appointments the rest of the day, so I asked her if I could call in and make an appointment and she said that was fine, so I left and told them I would come back the following week after the paperwork was corrected. A week later, I give this place a call when they open around 7am and ask to speak to a GEICO rep. The lady who picked up was extremely rude and unprofessional. She told me that the GEICO reps weren't here yet so I asked her when they come in. She said "I don't know. They have their own schedules." Not helping me at all, thanks lady! So I asked her if she could give me an estimate on when they usually come in and she said "I don't know. Maybe 8. 8:30." Just not very pleasant. I call back at 8:30am and speak to a GEICO rep who told me the paperwork will be ready when I come in and that again, I should come in from 3-4:30pm. I told him the previous GEICO rep I spoke with said I could make an appointment and he told me I couldn't, and that the reps spent the rest of the day doing other things that weren't settlement checks. Fine, I get it. I informed him it would be difficult for me to come in during that time frame because of work and he reassured me that I can just come in without an appointment and may just have to wait. Olay, no problem. Coming in today at 8:30am to get my check (they open at 7am), no one was at the front desk. I came in a stood at the front for a few minutes, with no employee there to help. The few minutes I stood there, 4 others came in behind me. I kept hearing noise and saw movement in the office behind the front desk, but no one came out. Finally. the lady sitting in the office behind the front desk comes out, extremely lethargic seeming, looking like she just woke up and assists all 5 of us. She wasn't very pleasant to speak to and didn't seem like she wanted to help or even be at work at all. I finally received my settlement check after being here for 30 minutes. The GEICO rep I spoke/worked with here was extremely nice and helpful. Too bad some of the other employees at Caliber Collision don't know anything about customer service. read more

I have a BMW 4 series with bad body and electrical damage, and I already figured I needed to go to a BMW body shop, but there were huge delays so I thought I'd try this Caliber location. I was so impressed at the kindness and responsiveness of Nia and how quickly they were able to get me in the week of Christmas (next day)! Unfortunately, my car couldn't be fixed by Caliber, but my service guy and the manager called me *immediately* and let me know (I was a bit anxious so I can't remember their names). They even offered a week free of storage. This was a good amount of business they had to give back (probably 10K paid by insurance), and instead of hemming and hawing around, they were transparent from the beginning. That is who I like to do business with and I'd recommend them to anyone. Lobby was also noticeably clean and bright. read more

Avoid this body shop at all costs. They took in my 2013 Volkswagen GTI for some front fender work and wheel repair and messed it up totally. I came in to pick up my car on Friday afternoon and found crows feet all over the paint and bubbles all over the front fender from where they tried to blend it to the black color. When I told the gentleman of the issues, he said to take possession of the car and that I could bring it back. LOL (I knew this was a trap) After I disputed the charge with my credit card company, I got a very rude phone call from Sam telling me they were going to repossess my car for non-payment and that I needed to make the payment. Well Sam, you are lucky I cant post our phone conversation on here so everyone can hear just how RUDE you are. haha Moral of the story, avoid this shop like the plague unless you like shoddy work done on your vehicle and paint that could have been done better by a 2 year old. I will be sharing this review with all my friends and family and will make SURE NOBODY visits your shop. Added Notes from BBB complaint: (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Firstly, In all of the years that I have needed body work done on my car, I have never received as rude of a call as I did from the manager Mr. Sam. His tone and the fact he threatened me with repossession of my car speak VOLUMES as to how this business conducts itself. I received my car on a Friday afternoon and was told that by taking repossession of the car with the shoddy quality work that was done would in no way be an acceptance on my part of work well done and to my liking. I made this clear to the manager who was on duty that gave me my car back. Also mind you there was no GEICO representative on duty the day I took repossession of my car. (How convenient) If Calliber prides itself on its work, maybe they should try a little harder to make sure they can properly blend a quarter panel better than a 2 year old can color a coloring book. Frankly, I was appalled at all of the imperfections my paint had on the car and the terrible work that was shown overall. My paint had crows feet and bubbles on the paint and swirling all over the clear coat. I have NEVER seen anything so horribly done than here with my brand new car. Also, they claim that they have responded on yelp and my google review and I see nothing on there. Lies and deceit from a poorly run company. I traded in my car immediately after this work was done because I didn't want to deal with the added burden of having to take my car back multiple times to repair work that Calliber should have gotten right the first time. Shame on you. I implore this bureau to publicly share my complaints on the website about the work done by this business on your website as that in of itself will satisfy me the most than the lost 501.00 dollars that I wasted with this disreputable company. ESTIMATE/ADJUSTOR VISIT: overall very honest and fair place to have your car estimated by an adjustor. Worked with Rachel, who was patient, understandable and takes the time to explain everything. She quickly examined my car and wrote up an estimate within 30 minutes. I brought my own estimate that i got from a dealership to compare with hers and she was willing to compromise her original settlement to meet somewhat halfway with the dealerships estimate. Dropped off my car recently for some light rear bumper repair after getting rear ended. The full service for GEICO customers is fantastic. You can get an estimate, approve a repair, get a rental car, and be on your way all in one place. The customer service at this place is great. The desk attendants do their job well, and the rental car, adjusters, shop manager, and service advisors were all extremely professional and offered great service. They explained their repair process using the latest plastic welding technology and lifetime warranty on paint and repairs. I dropped off my car on a Monday morning and was back in it Wednesday morning. Repairs were excellent and high quality. I hope I don't need to visit any shop again for a collision repair, but if I do it'll be Caliber. read more

This place is the best body shop in Houston! Just bought My 2013 Denali Arcadia, And got rear ended. Reat lift gate badly damaged on right rear and bumber trim also damage. Geico took car of the claim form one there policy holder which the adjuster on site and also Enterprise. Advisor Anthony was asign to my vechicle. He listen to my concerns and reassure me the the repairs will look like it never happened. Being in Automotive field i had hard time believing it will look same from factory . But Anthony assure me they have best body man and painters in Houston over 30 plus years experience. And they rank top platinum on CSI! Every Month. Mr. Anthony keep me up-to-date on repairs and status. The turn around on the repairs was very quick a week. Which i thought it will be more. Before the delivery Mr . Anthony does intensive Qc before Delivery as he assure me before the repairs was done. And i gotta said i was Impressed when i went pick my denali like it never happened, try look for any imperfection but nope nothing. I could NOT be happier with this location. They are ON POINT! I dropped my car off, 24 hours after this kid (who was clearly on his phone, and forgot how to drive when it's raining in Houston during prime time traffic hours) slammed into the back of my car. It took about 30 minutes for the insurance adjuster to look at the car & send me on my way, in an ungraded rental. They were so professional and totally understood that you do not want to spend your entire day there. I also receive texts messages daily about updates on my vehicle. My day could have been living hell if it wasn't for the wonderful receptionist Lenzie and Joe Lopez who fixed my car. I was paying out of pocked to get my bumper fixed because my dumb a** backed into my iron fence. I got lost on my way there and was an hour late to my appointment. I called and the receptionist gave me directions as well as assured me that I would have an appointment as soon as I got there. Once I got there all I had to pay for was the $60 part. Took my truck to this shop to make some cosmetic repairs after I had a minor issue with another vehicle. I couldn't be happier with the personnel at this center and service they gave me in getting my truck looking good again. They kept me informed all throughout the work process which I really appreciated. They made my truck like it just came off the show room floor. No ripples, no waves in the finish. I will return to this center for any future work and recommend them to everyone. I took advantage of their detailing service. This is not included in the repair cost but it was well worth the money. I had to google it, not knowing anyone here, so no recommendations were given. I was greeted immediately upon arrival. Thomas was phenomenal!!! He was able to get the ok from Florida and even was able to get me a rental. He said it would be a day or 2. How about he called me the same day right before closing and said my car was ready!! Zero out of 5 stars!!! This company seriously sucks. Highly recommend no one brings their vehicle here unless you have time, money and energy to waste. I Originally brought my vehicle in to get repairs done from an accident I was involved in. The total was around $3,400. Once it was "repaired" I went go pick up my vehicle from them. The same day I got my car back my check engine light came on, so I brought it back to Caliber Collision that very same day I picked it up. THEY GAVE ME MY CAR BACK 6 FUCKING TIMES before they finally figured out what the issue was with the check engine light! I had to bring my car back to them 6 FUCKING TIMES. They kept giving it back to me all six times saying they fixed it BUT DIDN'T. I had to get the "regional manager" involved to finally get the issue resolved. That is absolutely insane and stupid. I'm still pissed at this company and probably will be for a long time. UPDATE: After all this I called corporate to make a complaint, they transferred me to the claims department and before anyone answered they HUNG UP ON MY TWICE. I called back AGAIN to speak to a manager and the person I spoke to was the rudest person in customer serious I have every talked to. She had a serious attitude issue, and that is the LAST thing you need to giving when a upset customer is trying to make a complaint! read more

At first I had a great experience with the GEICO rep being there and all. I had same day service to replace my liftgate and bumper on my Mini Cooper countryman after damage from an accident. I was really stoked because everything was going really well. I even had to call to say I was going to be a there a few minutes after closing time and they were more then happy to stay. However when I got there I was informed that they did not take cash as a form of payment, which is what I had to pay my deductible. I was a bit dismayed and told them that this is something that they should tell people in advance. Ended up having one of their employees driving me, in my own car,to a check cashing place to purchase a money order. So that was my first displeasure, my second was the fact that my TPMS light was now saying inactive which it wasn't before and when I brought it to their attention they replied that they did nothing that would cause that to happen. Needless to say when I put a hitch on my car I had to take the bumper off and realized that there was something unplugged and it happened to be the TPMS receiver module and that is what was causing my sensor to say inactive. So when they replaced my bumper they failed to plug this little guy back in and didn't have the knowledge or were just too lazy to realize what had happened and fix it. My care still smells a bit like mildew as well due to water getting in through the broken glass. I told them that I wanted that smell gone and they said ok. Not gone! I'm beyond satisfied and the level of customer service certainly exceeded my expectations. I've had some bad experiences in the past with collision centers. The women at the front desk were awesome courteous and helpful. Marco with Geico was also incredible and accommodating to say the least. However the one person that went above and beyond for me was Collin. When I first met him bringing him my car and I had damage from my accident as well as a previous incident hitting a concrete pillar at an H-E-B gas station. Collin became aware that I hated the damage that was on the back door from the incident prior to my accident and he said that he couldn't promise me anything but he would certainly try his best attempt so that I was happy. This was an incident that wasn't related to my accident or my insurance claim so I was well aware that this was something that was likely an eye sore that I'd have to deal with. When I came back to get my car after the repairs were completed I was absolutely shocked and elated to see that he really went out of his way to fluff up that damage that I've been so embarrassed of while driving. The collision centers I've experienced in the past often promise the world but deliver s**t and Collins approach was different. He was honest and unlike the other collision centers and their over promised and underdelivered "car salesman approach", Collin truly makes every attempt to satisfy the customers wish...as he did with mine. In short Collin went above and beyond and that to me is definitely exceeding my expectations and also excelling in customer service. read more
