I called Art the owner who told me leaves were in the vent. Took car to another mechanic who told me the compressor had been cracked. Very disappointed with someone I trusted and thought was honest and legitimate. In Houston you can't go without AC in your car or home. What a lesson I learned!!!!

i took my camry in and it is a japa made so i took it in for a transaxel flud drain and refill and…read moretold them which fluid and that you must use crush washers when you reinstall the drain plug and the refill plug with crush washers to prevent leaks and as i got home i found a few drops of fluid allreadydropped on clean concret as sure enough it will leak because the washers theyused were not rigt and i insisted but theymade o effort to get right washers even though i gave them parts number from toyota and they said this is what i have to use and tey put on washers thatwill not seal the correctwas as i need the aluminum crushale to fit the texture of the aluninum housing so it wont leak. im going tomorrow to see terry salamat and if they wont correct prolem i will hire an attorey. i had a previous problem with themi last year.i had a clock spring on my nissa rogue not put on right-i went back and they tampered with it so i accepted and left. now im afraid thatthey didnt even change the fluid maybe checked it and put plugs in using same washers tom said. i was charged over 70 dollars for a gallon of supposedly dexron 111 fluid even though i needed on 2 quarts. also labor brough bill to a little over 163 dollars plus the worry now as i have to have it fixed correctly. i hope people will stop using this place as they are money hungry and dont do correct job. i cant take foto as im old and my cell phone is a flip phone-no camera als repairo i told tom i dont have money to waste as im 78 years old on soc security and need car worked on right. he said old car always has leaks but tis had o new leak until today ad leak was clear oil not black or brown fluid-i just hope something can be done to people like this. i even did all the leg work on computer getting info on my car etc and fluid it hasto have and all about the transaxel and model number. idid all i can do and want them to refund my money so i can get it fixed right at toyota dealer

He took the request as talking face-to-face as a threat. I saw the fact that he didn't want to talk to a customer face-to-face as a bigger issue any original complaint. He believed that I was upset so he felt necessary to contact my mother to, in his words "bridge the gap". Here is another issue that was bigger than the original. If a customer and a business has an issue, the customer's family members shouldn't be a part of it. Today I came in to talk to Jerome to voice my complaints and instead of listening to the customer, he tried to justify his actions. Instead of hearing me out, he attempted to downplay my concerns by cutting me off mid statement. I tried to remind him a few times that I have a complaint as a customer Jerome interrupts with justifications to 1/2 statements . I admittedly interrupted him when I wasn't being heard. He injected that he suspects its a race issue. I don't see this as a race issue. I have a customer complaint issue that turned into three and I'm still not being heard. I tapped on the table to emphasize a point and seemingly he saw that as a threat or intimidation so he hit the table extremely hard a few times seemingly out of fear or anger. So after 15 minutes of me not giving into his narrative, Jerome showered frustrating love upon me as a Christian brother. And then he kicked me out. I told him that he wasn't Christlike. He may be a Christian, but not Christlike. I gave Jerome an opportunity of earn a loyal customer and he failed miserably. The rest of your crew is awesome. I can say that with no equivocation. I especially like to single out Kevin. His customer service instinct are awesome. If he teaches as well as he performs, he should lead a customer serviceworkshop at Christian Brothers. I took it to AutoNation in Katy and they tried to charge me $7000 to repair the truck I just spent $8000 on less then 6 months ago. Needless to say I sought a second opinion. Adam was completely upfront and honest through the entire process from the diagnostic to the end of the repair. As for pricing, he saved me $4500!!! He had it back on the road in 24 hours which extremely helped since I run a small HVAC business and needed to get back into the field.
