Used their paint services to fix the paint on my vehicle after someone backed into it. I was quoted a time frame for how long it was going to take. I received my vehicle 2 days before the estimated time of completion. I was also quoted the price for the work to be done and was also informed that if additional work is needed, they would communicate it first before proceeding so that there would be no surprises. For my particular situation, there was no need for additional work, so I knew exactly what I was going to need to cover that insurance wasn't going to be able to. I had the worst experience at the Caliber Collision in Leesburg this past month. I had taken my car in for a front bumper replacement and repairs were first estimated to be completed on May 1st. On May 1st, they informed us that a part had not been delivered and that repairs would be done that following Thursday. I returned my rental car Wednesday night expecting the repairs to be completed. On Thursday, they informed us that a part was still not delivered, and it would be completed the following Monday. On the following Monday morning, I received a text saying that the car was getting cleaned and will be ready by 3pm for pickup. At 3pm while we were on the way to pick up the car, they again informed us that the car was not ready and the part was not delivered. I do not understand why the text was sent telling us it was ready. They promised that the car would be ready on the following day... the part was still not delivered. They refused to answer our calls and give an update on the car. We had to physically go to this location to inquire about the status of the car. The manager had supposedly talked to the mechanic and magically, the car was ready the next day. Absolutely horrible service and unnecessary false updates. We had to get our insurance company to speak to them as they were not being cooperative or responsive with us. Would not recommend. read more

My car went in for some bodywork (front bumper, fender, hood, headlights) their quality assurance SUCKS!!!!! My 10 year old son could have done a better job aligning the body panels!! Over spray galore, orange peel and dirt underneath the clear coat, didn't put half the screws and bolts back onto other parts they had to remove to get job done as well as broke parts and put them on broken the list just goes on!!!!!!! I was called to pick up car because it was done 3 times and left itt because of crap work. They lie lie lie aNd try to give you a good song and dance even though, I told Them In the beginning that I am a car guy and know a lot about cars and that I was going to go over the car to make sure it was done properly!! While driving on a dark road one night, a wild animal crashed into my car, heavily damaging the headlights and front end. My auto insurer recommended Caliber Collision; I was hesitant after seeing some (older) negative reviews. Things could not have gone smoother! What a relief! The big repairs were done through a subsidiary - I don't remember the name of it - but the repairman was "Scotty". They kept in touch with me throughout the entire process; Enterprise Car Rental has a check-in/check-out desk right there, and Caliber worked directly with both my auto insurer and Enterprise to ensure a smooth transaction and that the communication lines were open. I was very pleased with the overall process, the quality of the workmanship and courtesy of the personnel. When things go wrong, it helps so much when you can go to a repair shop you can trust! I have had my autos repaired at this location a couple of times over the years -- always quality work and a fair price. They have sort of turned into my "go-to" auto body. Well, when I damaged an older car of mine that is near the end of its life, I went by and asked the GM what he thought. He said that he could probably get it to an acceptable state without too much fuss. A couple of hours later I get my car back with the damage repaired - he tosses me the keys and says "no charge" on this one. Great customer service, great work, and I have to say I am big time fan! My vehicle was in a minor accident and had damage to the front bumper. I brought it to Caliber Collision for repairs. After a week, they let me know that my car was finished and ready to be picked. I came in to get my car and noticed that a piece on the front bumper wasn't snapped in and they didn't blend the paint from the bumper to the fender. It looked terrible. I mentioned it to them and they told me that the insurance company would not approve that. I called the insurance company and they said that the comments they made were not true and that they would cover it. I left my car there and it was done the following day. The final work was not great. I wouldn't recommend anybody getting any work done there. Just another body shop that cuts corners and is lazy as hell. read more

The positive of working with this shop is that Geico is located within the building. It makes it quick and easy to get an adjustment and fixed. The paint quality is horrible and is equivalent to Maaco's. I've had two cars repaired because it was convenient and I planned to sell them after the repair. One was a gold flake and it was very flat and looked faded. They left tools in the car and we had to return it because the window didn't work properly. The second required a repaint because the body work had waves and scratches in the paint. I would never go here if it was a car that I wanted to keep. Also, they wouldn't paint my son's bumpers since he installed them and they couldn't get their markup (They use aftermarket bumpers as well). Horrible. A job that was supposed to take a few days took 2 weeks. Final delay was a scratch on the bumper that they caused and had to fix. Now I'm here to pick it up and find the front window scratched up. Scratches that I saw within the first 10 seconds looking at the car. How did this happen? Why didn't they see it? No I have to leave the car here for who knows how many more days while they figure out how to repair or replace the window! Would NOT recommend this repair shop. read more

My convertible came out with things buffed and repaired that they didn't have to do. They did everything they could to put my car back in it's original condition. Horrible experience here with rude treatment from front desk staff to boot. Had an appointment with an adjuster from GEICO, who sent us an email telling us to meet him at Caliber at 1:30 to look at the damage to my car. Showed up 5 minutes early, signed in, was told to take a seat and overheard the woman working at the front desk tell someone in the shop that I was here. She came back out a minute later and told me that they had no appointment with me in the system. I showed her the GEICO email on my phone showing that I had an appointment with them at this exact address at this exact time on this exact day, and her repeated, petulant response was "Well, you don't have an appointment". No offer to remedy anything, no acknowledgement of the email I showed her, not even a "I'm sorry, that might be GEICO's fault" let alone Caliber's fault. Just an insinuation that nothing ever happened and that I should leave immediately after taking the afternoon off of work to drive a half an hour each way out to Leesburg to give them business. I will never deal with Caliber ever again. Incredibly unprofessional and rude treatment. I'd rather deal with someone that respects their customers. read more

Came twice for same repair (cash, USAA), separate incidents. The only inconvenience is that you do have to schedule an appointment for an estimate, but once that's done the process is seamless and painless. Friendly greeting, streamlined intake with minimal paperwork, great interfacing with insurer, consistent communication from drop off to readiness. Repairs were done very well and car was detailed (washed, vacuumed) before pick up both times. read more

Can't understand the negative reviews, had a great experience here. Accident with an animal, Geico coverage, this place made things extremely easy and had great customer service. Two things for the record hat aren't clear online: key drop box is at door on right side of main entrance. And they have an Enterprise car rental on site open Mon to Fri 7:30-12. I dropped off car with keys early morning before they opened. They kept me well apprised throughout the whole process, and did a great job. Made this extremely easy when working through Geico. read more

Repair was perfect- new bumper on a 9 year old car- looks original and untouched by accident or repair. Highly recommend using this business. I was sent there by my Geico insurance- and very impressed with the partnership Geico and collision have; and the way they work together to make the process pleasant and seamless. Disappointing..... I've used this repair facility several times over the last 15 yrs., though last time was ~5yrs ago under previous ownership. I had a small repair that required painting bumper and minor plastic replacement. When I came to pick up car I immediately noticed the no part of the job had been painted. I was initially brushed off until I had manager review work and immediately agreed. When I came back 2nd time, they informed me that they replaced some of the "repaired parts" because they weren't happy with the initial work..... I'm sure they realized they didn't want to take a chance trying to fool me again.... Overall work and craftmanship were good once they did what they were supposed to do. read more

Wow! Absolutely appauling. Where to start I took my car in to have some repairs done and just being checked in it was slammed up front and there was only one girl working up there you could see just behind her in her glass office was the manager just laughing away with other workers. God forbid management or any other staff for that matter around doing nothing come help her answer the 5 ringing lines and help the 8 people one of which already agitated. The job was well done on the vehicle overall their shop workers were excellent! Coming to retrieve my vehicle and not only was the csr too busy to help me as it seems some other form of management in a smaller office to the left was busy as well their conversation was much more important. Along with the tv being turned up so loud with cursing bleeping left and right watching reality what is it bet mtv?? Real professional. I would be shocked this place is up and running but unfortunately it is now very large its hopefully got a couple good shops out of the many. Definitely would not recommend dealing with any of the stuck up attitudes at this caliber location.. I brought my car here in May for both insurance-covered work and self-pay work. It took five days to get the insurance inspection and approval to begin that work - during which time the self-pay work could have begun and likely finished. Instead nothing happened, despite my repeated request for an estimate. After five days I received an estimate and was told that it would require an additional week. I proceeded instead with just the insurance-covered work. After one week I came to pick up the car and there was a very large visible chip in the paint, despite their claim to have inspected the final work. I had to leave the car again for this to be fixed. Instead of repainting the panel, as should have happened, they attempted to repaint only the section where there was a chip. The result was completely discolored and not properly buffed. It was offered to me that they would fix this section yet again, I declined because I had absolutely no confidence they wouldn't screw something up again and I no longer wanted to deal with these people. I will never take my car here again. The only redeeming quality I can tell you is that the front desk staff are really friendly and competent - but they're not the ones managing the repairs. read more

I had 3 experiences with this company location. Ist experience, I brought in my Ram 1500 for repairs. After vehicle was returned to me, I noticed that some of the repairs were not done properly. New front left bumper sensor was not working properly. Left front fender flare not installed properly. Had to bring the vehicle back. 2nd experience, my wife recently brought her Prius Prim in for rear end repair damage. After she brought the car home, I noticed that two large creases on either top side of the rear window were not repaired, completely missed. The car was folded up from the rear, how could you miss this? Had to bring the vehicle back. Just returned from my 3rd experience, I made a 1:30 appointment to bring in my truck in for an out of pocket estimate for a scrape repair to my right rear fender flare. Sat there for 15 minutes until 1:45 and left. There were no other customers in the waiting area, or anyone outside taking care of customers. I'm the only customer on site and the estimator is at least 15 minutes late. I just tried to leave customer feedback on their website, not working. Extremely poor customer service. I will take my future business elsewhere read more
