Extremely unreliable, go somewhere else. Took my car in and took way longer than they said. Then, they hit my car on something while moving it and have to do a whole realignment. Said they would drive it to me and completely just didn't do that. Then they tried to give it back with things still messed up. Planned out bringing it back for them to fix while I was on vacation so that it would be done when I'm back and I wouldn't have to go without a car. Told me they'd make it a priority and have it done within a couple days of that window since it was having to come back for their mistakes. A week later I get back, car not even worked on. Monday they say, oh it'll be done today or tomorrow. Nope. Tuesday, still not done and don't even know if it'll be done by Wednesday. So unreliable. read more

This was the easiest process and I am so grateful to have a trustworthy repair facility I can rely on. If you're on the fence of where to get your vehicle fixed, trust me, this place is the best all around. They kept me informed every step of the way. I dropped my truck off at 8:00am and picked it back up the SAME day at 5:00pm. They even washed my truck. The manager Jeff was so professional and has a great team working with him. Completely incompetent scam artists! They "fixed" my car after I was rear ended (had to wait extra time because they scratched the paint on the replacement trunk), only to have one of their parts completely fail shortly after repairs were completed. Waited two weeks after parts were ordered before calling them again to remind them that they still needed to do the repairs. After we scheduled a date for repairs they let me car sit in their garage for two days with no work done before I was forced to reschedule. I was assured by the manager that the repairs would take a few hours, and now I'm waiting to hear back from the regional manager to get my repairs handled by another center. If you value your time and quality of repairs you should avoid this place at all cost! read more

I had my car worked on in November 2018, and most everything was repaired very well. The only thing I still have an issue with is a loud hum when driving 30mph and up. It is also noticeable when turning. When parking or taking off, there is also a loud popping noise. Unfortunately, because I had to drive to Colorado to start a new job, the day after the work was done, I am afraid I will not be able to have the issue taken care and will have to pay even more to fix it. I was in the process of getting my 2014 GMC Terrain ready to sell when a concrete pillar in a parking garage jumped out of nowhere and caught my back quarter panel. Seriously...out of nowhere. Craziest thing I have seen. ;-) Knowing that the nice damage I did would definitely take away from the selling price, I took it into Caliber Collision. They were just simply wonderful to work with. Mark was my guy, he met with me on the estimate and kept me in the loop for the week they had my car. I would get text updates from the body repair process, to the prep paint area to the final paining stage. Each time I would get a time estimate and they finished it exactly when they said they would. They were prompt and on time when I needed to meet with them (estimate, drop off and pick up). They worked seamlessly with my insurance company and I could not ask for a better experience. Top it off, my car looks PERFECT! Stuff like this is just not fun. Period. Mark and the folks at Caliber made the process as uncomplicated and enjoyable as it could have been. Maybe it was just me. My wife previously went here and they were great with her. In fact, they popped my front bumper in for no charge so I was sold. Recently bumper was pulled out by low curb and needed to be fixed. Realizing it was time to pay for proper repair/replacement, I of course took it to Caliber to get an estimate and decide whether to pay out of pocket or as a claim. Then the trouble started. When I walked in the door, there were only 2 people waiting and when I explained to receptionist I was there to have my bumper looked at she looked at me as though annoyed and said, "It may be awhile before someone gets to you." I said no problem, I wasn't expecting immediate service. I noticed she was friendly to everyone else. After the two were helped and left, I sat there for another 15 minutes with their guys walking past me shooting the breeze. Finally, a tall, slender Hispanic man asked if I needed help and I led him to my car. He first asked if I was using insurance and at first said no since that would depend on the estimate and he immediately seemed disinterested. When we got to the car, his face looked tense as he overexplained that I can't put a bandaid on it and need to have the bumper potentially replaced. Again, I said, "yeah, I expected that. I'm not looking for another freebie." By now I'm starting to realize they think I'm there expecting them to pull off another "customer service" gesture. Not at all, I was wanting to give them my business because of that gesture! They guy took pictures again explaining this might take some repairs with me by now looking puzzled at his overstatement of the obvious. He said he would get me an estimate by the end of the day and I left. The day past and the next day and the following day I called him. He sounded bothered by my call and said he was working on it and would have it by the end of the day. That was a week and a half ago and no estimate was ever provided. Great service Caliber!!!! I just called Caliber to drop off my car for estimates and the office manager said it would be next Monday. Then drop off again for repair which take another week to two weeks. The office manager Bianca said, " you can take whichever shop you want, but here we are very busy." This is NOT a good way for businesses treat customers. She can look up other Caliber for same day service but can't help the potential customer to her location. I even mentioned I have to contact the other driver insurance to arrange paperworks each time changes has to be made, but Caliber manager couldn't care for. Went here when I had a collision to my front driver side fender. Got the car back with rear bumper damage. They touched up the paint rather than repainting it. Looked ok but not like it did before. Decided to give them another shot and went in for just one minor trim piece I needed replaced and I wanted to pay out of pocket for. They asked for a deposit which I gladly paid so they could order the part and call me back in when it was there. It was Friday so they said Monday or Tuesday I would hear back, and a week and a half later of no follow up, no answer at the shop when I called and no way to leave a voicemail, I send them an email requesting a refund because another shop offered to have my part ready with their shop by next day and comment on their poor service. They misspell my name and tell me it will be 3-4 weeks to get a check in the mail. Apparently Caliber sends checks via bicycle. For such a big company, they sure do show how much they don't care about having your business. read more

Hack job place with reps who give you the run around. Even dealing with their DM and GM I couldn't get people to follow through on their word. Initially their outsourced paint less dent removal (PDR) person did a terrific job however they left my truck bed cover in dissaray with parts missing and the bed misaligned. I took delivery with the expectation they'd fix it later that week for a quick 10-15 minutes fix up. That never happened. I called several times until finally someone came out to my house a week later and made it worse. They didn't return more of my calls and I ended up having to talk with the boss of the DM to get anyone to start moving which is absurd. In summary it's almost 3 weeks later and while the hail dents were successfully pulled from my new truck the issue with the sloppy RE assembly of my truck bed / cover is still messed up and now during rain water is getting in my bed with the tonneau cover on so I can't functionally use my truck as intended. I'm actively filing a claim with my insurance company to fix the claim with these idiots. Absolutely would not recommend them and the only reason I went to Caliber was because they were the forced regional estimate location for the Central Austin storm response team from my insurance provider. This type of no follow through crap happened at another Caliber. The kind of workers they hire are transient just like rental car companies and you never deal with the same person. Awful experience. Definitely Avoid to save your sanity. They've wasted so much of my time these last 3 weeks. read more

One should NEVER receive their car back from a repair shop in worse condition than when it was dropped off. Period. And it cost me $248. I dropped my car off on October 19th and just got it back today (December 28) without any work being done. I received a text on October 22nd saying they discovered floor damage and that the car may not be repairable. Subsequent texts said they were negotiating the price of floor repair with the other guy's insurance company (another cause of expense and delay). It took the Manager at Caliber over THREE weeks (November 12th) to finally tell me they would not repair my car due to the floor damage! And when I got there the guy had no explanation, no apology. Fast forward to November 22nd (after negotiating a settlement with the insurance company), I tell the Manager to just put my car back together and that the insurance company will no longer be involved. When I asked what the timeframe looked like he said he didn't think it would take more than 2 weeks. I called on Dec 6th for a schedule and was told they would get back with me, Dec 8th (no reply), Dec 15th (no reply), Dec 16th (still don't know but will get back with me) and 22nd (maybe by end of year and it will cost $248). Finally I received a call this morning Dec 28th at 11:59 saying my car was ready. After I paid I looked the car over and saw damage to the top of the bumper that was NOT part of the accident. But it will get fixed at the next shop, so whatever...I guess. Opened the driver's side door and the car was filthy. No paper matt covers, no paper seat covers, there was clay on the floor matts and on the seats. They told me my car would be ready for me in 5 days, ended up getting my car in 2 weeks. Every time they would update me there would be another excuse as to why they have t worked on my car yet. When I got my car back the back window wasn't working which I thought was odd. I didn't really feel like taking my car back to them so they could fix it (scared that they might hold my car for another 2 weeks), so I took matters into my own hands. Where do I start....STAY AWAY! So I went in to get an estimate on a rear bumper repair, rear tail light and reflector after a backed into a yellow pole at about 2mph....yes I know you can do a whole lot of damage to a car even at slow speeds, however I am no idiot either and know what I see. Not to mention they didn't realize I have already seen another body shop who is privately owned and operated (the way we need to go back to). Nevertheless, ol' Carlos, the con artist helping me started right away during the visual estimate talking about "well this could be bent, and this could be broke etc...." trying to prepare me as if this "visual estimate" may not be the end of it. Once they take the bumper off there may be more damage. We are paying this out of pocket to prevent a small claim on our insurance and I told him that, so it appears that to them that means jack up the price! The first estimate I received from Lee's Body Shop was for $1,200 which included 6.5 hours of labor and all the same materials and these con artists wrote me up for $2,000 and using 12 hours of labor. There is no justification on why my estimate should have doubled! Who helps work for us to help prevent major companies to take advantage of the consumer? Where is 7 on you side? I will reach out to every channel possible to figure out how to let the world know how bad this business takes advantage of the consumer. read more

Added two large scratches said it must have been there already, I told Mark that we went over the car and there is no way that we missed the two scratches (convenient to blame customer)! My truck was involved in an accident. I took my truck to Caliber Collision in Pflugerville. Long story short, the worst place to take your vehicle. Picked up my truck, it was filthy dirty inside and out. after I washed my truck I notice imperfections where accident occurred, paint overspray on my tailgate, and door panel wasn't replaced new. They replaced door panel. They never called back to buff tailgate. Piss poor service, ill never use this location again. Use at you own risk..good luck. read more

I had an accident in my brand-new pickup and called my insurance company. They had an express program setup with Caliber. I took my truck in the following Monday, met with a representative from Caliber and from my insurance company and, together, we reviewed the damage to my vehicle. The Caliber representative told me that my pickup would be ready the following week. I walked across the parking lot with the insurance company representative and picked up my rental car at Enterprise Rental. It seems Caliber and Enterprise are collaborating at this site and it made the whole process very convenient. True to their word my pickup was ready within a week and I returned the rental and picked up my truck which was as good as it was prior to the accident. I am extremely impressed with the quality of their work, the professionalism showed by their representatives and the short time it took to repair my vehicle. read more

Unfortunate bad overall experience. Caliber has good reviews online so our experience may have been an anomaly. Either way I felt obligated to share my experience. My car has 50k miles on the odometer and has never been in an accident before. Minor repairs to front bumper were needed from an impact with an object on the highway. Repairs estimated at under $1000. MY RECOMMENDATION: Caliber Collision would benefit from inspecting work completed by other Caliber shops prior to the arrival of the customer for pickup. (My repais were completed by their Round Rock shop). Issues with both locations are detailed below. To build trust, Caliber staff should be willing to admit fault and resolve issues without forcing the customer to press obvious errors. SUMMARY: In short a comedy of errors led to Caliber having to replace and repaint my front bumper twice which led to having my vehicle moved to another auto body shop to be repainted a third time. A four day repair ended up taking over a month to resolve. Incomplete work and lack of attention to detail were my primary concern. GOOD: The staff was friendly and courteous. Most of the staff were genuine and ultimately admitted to thier fault. They were willing to repair the poor workmanship upon acknowledgement of the issues, both times. The staff was accommodating by conducting the original repair estimate just before their scheduled closing time. BAD: - Communication was lacking. I had to call Caliber for updates multiple times days after deadlines passed. - Poor workmanship. Upon arrival to pickup my vehicle following the first repair attempt, the front bumper was hanging off partially. Reportedly part of the bumper cover had not been properly repaired which led to it being replaced and repainted. - Bumper Under Cover panel fell off while on the highway less than ten miles after departing the shop. The staff person inspecting my vehicle claimed that the flimsy plastic aftermarket cover was acceptable even though it was 1/4 the rigidity of the factory part. - Lack of attention to detail. Following the second repair attempt, the bumper cover was still not properly attached. It was loose moved around with the slightest pressure. - upon inspection following the issues above, multiple screws were found to be loose. Two had fallen out or were never replaced. - Paint color matched the first time but was notably off the second time. - A body panel screw was sticking half out of my tire upon my second arrival which led to a flat less than ten miles after picking up the car. The staff stated the screw may have already been there despite Caliber having had possession of my car for nearly two weeks, the screw was still shiny, in excellent condition, and unscratched from the road. UGLY: Two issues led to my loss of trust for Caliber (FM 685) and are the primary reason I am reporting my experience. (1) Loss of confidence in Caliber's ability to complete the job due to repeated poor workmanship. Note that Caliber Round Rock (the shop that completed the work) was transparent and very apologetic for the failure to have inspected the work stating that they fired the employee responsible. (2) Loss in confidence of Caliber FM685's staff to manage and resolve the issue. Multiple times, Caliber FM685 staff was reluctant to admit fault requiring me to press each if the issues addressed. As a customer I did not feel that my satisfaction nor returning my vehicle to its previous condition was the highest priority. read more

My car was hit while it was parked so Geico insurance wanted me to bring my car here which was fine with me they had good customer service and they fixed my door but the very next day when I was driving on 35 my panel around my wheel was coming off and rubbing my tire really bad so I call them they order the part but five days later I take my car to get a oil change and come to find out it was more damage done too my car than I thought so I let them know and they wanted me to bring my car back so they can put the panel on and see if the damage was from the accident mind you I took it to a certified mechanic who said that the damage had to be from a accident and they take my car and look at it and tell me that it wasn't and that it was from wear and tear my car is not old my car is only 4 years old and under 100k miles and I saw the damage which was a clean break with no rust where the break was and I'm really upset that I trusted these people to do a thorough investigation of my car and now they don't want to fix it I will never recommend and will never bring my car back there and I have a bald tire which isn't that old from the panel rubbing it and they don't care this started off as a good experience that turned into a nightmare I'm very disappointed in the service I received. read more

Bianca kept us updated daily and really took the time to make sure everything went smoothly and that we were taken care of. She was extremely professional and very customer oriented. She really went above and beyond! Carlos was our adviser and he was awesome! He made sure we got updates for the vehicle as well. He explained the repair process the car would go through and what parts would be needed to complete the repair. He made sure we were satisfied with the repair upon pickup, and mentioned if there is anything that we might come across later to let him know and he will take care of it.
