Let's face it, the cost for new/used vehicles are currently overpriced and the interest rates don't help either. My 2003 Dodge Dakota was starting to show signs of wear with the clear coat peeling away from the hood. I also had some dents on the tailgate and rails as well. With this being said, I decided to have my hood repainted and body work prepped for a new sprayed in bed-liner. I called around to a few shops and it seemed that they weren't interested in doing this type of work, since it wasn't an insurance claim. I was shocked to learn this and kept looking. They contacted me following a Yelp service request. I was asked to provide photos of the vehicle damage so the could provide a quote. I received an acceptable quote and scheduled to bring it in. It was inspected by the owner and said there was more work than anticipated and will cost more than what was quoted. Understand that I didn't disagree with the owner, he explained very well what needed to be done, how much work was involved and was very fair in the cost. But this was just a work truck and the damage didn't interfere with the operation and didn't look too bad. I just didn't see investing much in an older truck. Bottom line is, don't rely on an online quote but I would still consider Kaled. They appear to be a very reputable company. read more

We are very satisfied. We needed paint refinishing, a bumper replacement, and a wheel bearing replacement. Benjamin did it all in 5 days, and at a reasonable price. He even stayed late on Friday evening, allowing us to pick up the car before the weekend. I am really happy with how much better my car looks now. Good as new! Benjamin helped me when I was concerned about a scratch I thought I had in my car door. Mind you, huge disclaimer, I am VERY stupid when it comes to cars and I wanted to fix something I thought I had done to my vehicle--he inspected the car with me and pointed out what I thought was a scratch was a protective design of the car manufacturer to protect the metal underneath. I was so relieved and felt I could trust this company again if I ever need help in the future. I was impressed by how professional, calm, and patient Benjamin was and I was also impressed with how quickly they made a space for me to bring my car in. He could have just laughed in my face but he didn't (although I absolutely would have deserved it! Haha). Please consider this local business if you need restorative work done on your car! They are very helpful and put their clients above making profits--he easily could have misled me or claimed the car still needed work done and he didn't. When they gave me a guess-timated quote, they were transparent about what each repair might cost. I was rear-ended at a crosswalk when I stopped for a pedestrian. I was concerned about whether or not it would be worth fixing the car and I went looking for local Auto Body shops. Kaled NW Automotive was well reviewed on Yelp and I went to see them on my way home from work. I met Ben, the owner. He took time to listen to my story and what I had learned from taking my car other places. He said he would sent me the quote by e-mail that night or the next morning which he did. He gave me a very reasonable quote and said it would take two to three days to fix the car. He kept his word on both counts. The damage was fixed and the car looked better than it did even before the accident. I was very pleased with the work and the attention to detail. He even took my check which hardly anybody does anymore. He even pointed to a gasket that wasn't replaced when I had the muffler replaced. I was impressed that he took time to explain what he did and showed me pictures of the work. When I paid, the amount was exactly the amount of the estimate, not saying this will happen each time, but I was very pleased. I wish I could give Ben and his team ten stars! They repaired damage to the rear of my Subaru perfectly and at the most reasonable cost imaginable. Ben was unfazed when - between the time I first contacted him to get an online quote and the time I could actually get there because of the weather - there was additional damage that had occurred and his charge was only marginally higher to take care of it. He was flexible in allowing me to bring in the car several days late because of the snow and also personally took the car to a nearby Japanese auto specialist to get the damaged collision/proximity sensor calibrated. I had a hit and run on the freeway and my driver side back panel and tail light were damaged. I shopped around and the first place that got back to me quoted me around $5000 which was way above my price range. Then I got a quote back from Kaled NW Automotive and they blew me away with their quote coming at $1400 and that's just one half of it. For that price they also did an amazing job with my car. The whole side panel was fixed and the taillight has been replaced and it looks perfect, the impact was removed and the paint matched perfectly with the rest of my car. I dropped my car off with them on Thursday and on Monday when I showed up at their shop to pick up my vehicle I saw my car in the distance and thought "there is no way that's my car". They do wonderful work and I'm extra happy to know that I now have a go-to place for all my automotive needs.
