Terrible customer service experience. The 2nd time around. The first time, they were so sweet. That was because I was going to be a potential client. The funny thing is today I thought I had an appointment to get my car repaired. Went from a sweet front desk lady to a little salty. Maybe a lot of salty. I am about 7 and a half months pregnant. Car issues are never fun Good thing it was just a scrape in the front and no actual engine issues. My car was hit while parked. The person. Who hit me left me a note and has been so sweet. I got hit in the parking lot in the past, and they never left a note. I got it fixed via my insurance. So, I scheduled this appointment via my insurance at first. My coworker told me I was hit, so I started to put the claim in before I got to the parking lot. The person left a note, and I was shocked. Since I already had the claim in. I didn't think anything of my appointment with Caliber to get a quote. So that day comes, I let them know my insurance may not be covered as it will be the other parties insurance. They said that should be fine I made the appointment and sent the quote to the third-party members' insurance. They said they would be ok with whichever repair shop I chose. Either way. The customer service was not great. They could be a good repair shop, but I don't think I'll give them a try. Please go ahead and try anyway. Like always, you never know if the rest of the staff is amazing. Just wish they will improve that aspect. I wasn't even angry or trying to be rude. I'm just super confused why she changed from sweet to angry. I have no time for such an attitude. There are plenty of nicer shops in the city. read more

I brought my car in to get body work done after an accident in October. They were recommended by my insurance so it was my best bet. Well turns out they couldn't repair it due to a previous crash. No biggie. I go and pick up the car (which they had backed in) and drove off. Next morning I'm loading my trunk with tools and would you look at that. A nice glowing scratch. I email them and call them to let them know I wouldn't be paying for this and I'm told I can't prove it was them so there would be no resolution on their end. Thanks guys! Really great job. If you're on the edge, trust me when I say, you can trust them. Be nice to people and you'll be surprised that they're nice to you too! I found myself in a fender bender in late June, and my father told me that Caliber Collision gets it done! I had to wait a few weeks but as with every great business, books are filled. No problem. I came in and the front desk was already expecting me. She walked me around the car and marked the areas that were already previously damaged, even if slightly scratched. Then we went over the damage and she said that she would text updates as she received them. No lies there because we were informed every step of the way. She then notified my father that it was ready for pickup about 1 week and a half later. I went in and again, she was already ready to go! It's actually very refreshing when front isn't shuffling through papers like you're just another number, but actually PREPARES for YOU, like you matter, as you DO. They made us waited for two weeks and they said that the car is not ready for because the insurance would not pay for it because this establishment are asking the insurance for more than the insurance can pay so the insurance informed them that it's a Big NO. Then when we confront them about it they said that we can't give us the car because the insurance noted it the total lose and it was fine. We just want to get the car and give it to the insurance so that we can get a new car. But this people wants us to wait. It' was yesterday so today we called the insurance and this establishment with three way call the insurance told us that we can take the car from them because it's our car. They made us come back for another day when they could've give it to us yesterday. I'm frustrated I choose this establishment because of the good reviews but I guess those reviews are from them too maybe. I'm not accusing them of anything but for the person who have position and power trip cuz we confront them they are something else.They are not everybody there is a bad person tho. The clerk over there named Sarah is nice and she keep apologizing. It's not her fault. If ever I need something to get my car fix (knock on woods) I will not be going here. They waste our time and money. Note this. We called them the day off and ask about when they can fix it and the 15th friday of this month. We took our car here for repairs. We were told it would take three weeks when we dropped it off and that we would get text message updates three times per week. All was going well in the beginning, then the updates stopped. After a week I tried contacting the shop but the phone went straight to a full voice mail box. I called the Sparks location and found out my service advisor was out with COVID. I waited a few more days then called again and finally reached the service advisor. At this point, the car was due to be completed in two days. This is when I was advised it would not be done on time and the date moved out by a week. I was told the car was going into the paint booth the next day. Fast forward a week and two days (now the new due date) and the car was just painted the day before and there were parts on back order. In total, the car took 5 1/2 weeks to complete, and a very stern message before the service advisor started a serious search for the second set of backordered parts. And it had to go back for one last part to be installed after I picked it up. Don't think they called me to tell me the part had arrived either. I, of course, had to reach out to them for the status on it. It seems all work on our vehicle ceased when the service advisor fell ill and then the excuses started flowing. While upset, I was willing to walk away except... I got a notification from my car's app while it was in their possession that one of the tires was low. Two days after picking up the car, the tire was flat. I went to put air in the tire and discovered that the shop had driven it while flat as was evidenced by the wear marks on the tire. I took it to the tire shop, they attempted to repair. A week later, it's flat again so back to the tire shop and now we have to buy a new tire. Not once did the repair shop mention they caused a flat tire, nor did they attempt to fix this flat tire. Just aired it up, full well knowing it went flat in their possession and sent me on my way. I would not recommend sending your car here if you want it done in a timely fashion or if you hope they'll disclose issues that are encountered along the way. read more

Here's a story, of a lovely lady, who totally wrecked the back of her car... It's moving day. I back my car up our driveway with a large incline with the tailgate open and SMASH, it hits the top of the garage and completely shatters my back window and a piece of the tailgate flys off. WAAHHHH!!!! Thank god for car insurance! Our company had a tow truck tow my car to Caliber Collision. I'm very pleased they did. They were in contact with us all the time, letting us know about what was going on. It took longer than expected (thankfully I had a rental), but the car looks brand new. When we arrived to pick up the car, the woman working the front office was sweet and personable. She even put up with my husband's jokes (he thinks he's so funny). We walked out to the car with Ashley, the woman we've been talking with on the phone, and she went over what they did and asked me to check out my tail lights and break lights to make sure everything was in working order. I had a wonderful experience here. George took good care of me and my car. My husband slid my car into another vehicle during a snowstorm. Our insurance (USAA) recommended this body shop. The receptionist was kind and prompt. We made an appointment to have our damaged assessed, within 20 minutes we had the visual inspection completed, a printed up quote of everything that needed to be replaced and the costs, and what we would owe as our deductible. Then we made an appointment for a time to bring my car in based on the estimate of how many days it would take to complete the work. Once I dropped my car off George stayed in great communication with us regarding the progress of the repairs. We also had him look at other things (not related to the accident) and give us estimates, he gladly did and included suggestions on how we could bring down price. When we turned down additional work (that we inquired about) he was totally cool about and just said, "let me know if you want to work on it." George is great. Today I flew into Reno to get my car that was hit while I was in Reno. The Caliber crew was awesome and gave me updates every week and sometimes even more then once. They were always nice and explained what was going on with the repair. Since my computer and electronic parts were taken out by the accident this repair took a bit to make happen. When I got there my car looked amazing but more importantly it drove perfect all the way home to the Bay Area. They also gave me some roses and who doesn't love flowers? My car was hit by someone backing into it and this is the place that was the preferred one through my insurance. The first time I brought it in they repaired my door and had to replace the striping tape on just that door. They did but it was clearly another color. That first time they also severely scratched not only the tint on that window but also the glass on that window. They also stained one of my seats and caused some other small scratches. I called them and okay they had me bring it back in saying they would fix the tint and re stripe the whole car to match that door. I already had gotten the stain out myself. Well here we go this time they didn't actually replace the striping they laid it over the old striping so it looked really thick compared to the rest and they re did the window but it had so much debris in it it looked horrible and it didn't really match. I decided to give it a few days and see if it got better. It didn't and upon first wash a week later the tape just started peeling off. I called them back and they agreed to let me have my tint guy fix the window. The tint company said they would have NEVER let anyone walk out with a window like that it was so bad. They also had me bring it back in so they could remove all the striping and lay it back down. Mind you I bucket wash or self car wash my car but here we are a few months later and guess what some of that tape is peeling off. Oh and not to mention the glass scratching even though my tint was fixed my a better place my glass will always be damaged because of these people. I called them back this time to ask if maybe we could just have them remove the striping all together to avoid this problem continuing they said mark was on vacation and would call me next week. Waited the whole following week plus some and guess what NO CALL. They kept asking me to hold my review until they made me whole, well they never really did and now I'm just over it. This place is a total joke! 10/12 dropped off my vehicle. 10/13 they updated my completion date to 10/28. 10/19 they let me know part was backordered and would get the part on 10/22 10/22 they let me know the part would not arrive until 11/5 10/22 they updated completion date to 11/12. 11/5 they let me know all of the parts needed came in, waiting to be painted. 11/10 they let me know the vehicle was painted, they were working on re assembling it. 11/12 they let me know they were re assembling my car and doing the final inspection. 11/12 (the day of pick up) they let me know that the part they received was incorrect, and had the audacity to let me know that one of the part they got a couple weeks back was incorrect and they were going to work on getting the correct one. After having my car for 5 weeks they finally asked me if they could "help me" get a rental. That same day I called and spoke to an employee there he said "we got the part a couple weeks ago didn't open it and when we did it was the wrong one." They then told me my car would not be ready until 11/18 (6 weeks later) 11/18 went to pick up my vehicle and it was dusty in the street. I will be filing a formal complaint to the following: Nevada Department of Vehicles, Compliance Enforcement Nevada Consumer Affairs Better Business Bureau read more
