After reading some really positive reviews on Yelp, I called Nachos Paint and Body to maybe make an appointment to bring my GMC pickup in for a paint estimate. My first phone call went unanswered, but I left a voicemail. Since I never received a return call by the next day , I called again and was told no appointment necessary for an estimate. On June 9th 2026 I drove my truck in to the business, and OMG, what a maze, what a mess! There are vehicles in various stages of disrepair parked EVERYWHERE in a big cluttered "yard". I had to park in a red zone out in the street and quickly run into their office. I was told someone would be right with me. Well, after waiting and waiting in this crowded, disorganized office with people running around holding up paint sample chips up in the air, I decided to leave. If this is how they ignore customers and have such poor housekeeping on display, I can only imagine how many months and months my truck would have been lost in this quagmire if I had decided to have them paint my truck! I was recommended by Champion Chevrolet for my fender repair, I also did some other touch up work, the estimate was reasonable, I gave them my vehicle on Friday I think, I was a bit concerned when it would be finished since the property is full of vehicles partially repaired. On the following Friday I called the shop for a finish date, Nacho said it would be ready at 4pm. They were straight with us when the part they ordered (older car, parts not readily available) came broken. They gave us a full refund of our deposit and then quoted us on an alternative solution, without pressuring us to go that route. This auto body shop in Reno is by far the worst. I spent $2,000 to fix a few scratches and paint two wheels. After a week, they claimed it was ready, but when I went to pick it up, they had only painted one wheel. Kept it for another week, but it still wasn't done. Gave up after they only completed 80% of the job. Paid for nothing - they're scam artists, and their technicians are terrible. Hardly ever get someone on the phone too. Waste of my money and time. They fk'd up my car worse than it was. White paint under the trim, left windows down while sanding, salt-like film inside, trash left inside the car, and a residue on my mirror I still cannot get off. First pick-up, my car had no gas... and while driving to the gas station I found a lighter in the gas cap. Never dealt with a worse company. Filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. We came in for paint on the hood and roof of our Yukon XL and Nacho and his team went the extra mile and painted our roof rack and even polished our plastic headlamp covers without us even noticing until we got our car home. We noticed a few new scratches on the spoiler and Nacho's crew painted the spoiler and even the matching side trim to make it right. The whole job looks beautiful and it's really refreshing to find someone who does a great job for a reasonable price and won't hesitate to back up their work. We'll be back for sure. read more

I took my car there for very basic body repair. Nacho is the owner of the shop and his buddy, Obed is the one that works on the cars. Between Obed and Nacho, they run a scam. They kept my car for months, no response or communication whatsoever. I was calling repetitively to see the progress and never did they tell me what exactly was wrong with it , what parts were ordered, what exactly the parts they were waiting for. After almost 3 months, and no communication whatsoever, I get a bill for $9000. No itemization, no breakdown, no communication at all. After I drove it off their lot, which, by the way charges you $85 per day after they are finished and you are not able to pick up literally immediately, I did take my car to the dealership. The dealership did all of the internal repairs and end up charging me an additional $1400 on top of the nine grand they charged me. They do not do what they say upfront so don't fall for their scam. I would never ever take my car there ever again, and I strongly suggest no one else does. read more

I had paint pealing on the roof of my Dodge Durango. Nachos gave me a quote to paint it which was very reasonable so I dropped it off to be painted. It took a little longer to finish because we got snow storm that same week. When it was finished it looked great. They detailed the entire car inside and out. Brought my Toyota truck here after a small fender bender. Got lured in by a decent quote from nacho. Regret it big time, did a horrible job on my bumper and tailgate. Paint job is terrible, dirt clearly visible under paint throughout and 4 spots of paint run. Didn't tape well so paint is even on plastic trim and glass. The tailgate doesn't line up straight and squeaks when opened or closed. Multiple nuts are missing. Can't imagine how many pieces are missing inside when they took the body apart. Complete waste of $2,000. I don't trust nacho's shop to come within 10 meters of my truck. Need to get this job entirely redone by professionals. Wish I could give less than one star. Do not make the mistake of bringing your car here, they will destroy it. read more

The customer service needs a Huge improvement. I had many phone calls without an answer, voicemails being made with no return phone calls, showing up in person not being directed or greeted by anyone and not having to any confirmation on the status of my vehicle. I was told id have my car ready with in a week and will be updated by the end of the week. This turned into a phone call battle each time when trying to pick up my vehicle. Days were changed more than 5 times of me being able to even take my car out the shop. It was like fighting tooth and nail to get a real day of it being done after stopping into the shop when they told me to come by on that day over the phone. My week of a job turned into 3 and a half weeks. DONT GET ME WRONG, The job done on my car, was great. I had the Bumper, headlights, fender replaced from an accident. Had to have the rear bumper on my 1986 Corvette repainted. Nachos was able to get me in much sooner than the other shops and they did an excellent job at a fair price. It was what happened next that was really extraordinary. As I left the lot my engine died and I could not get it restarted. The son of the owner pushed my car to the side of the street so I would be safe and out of traffic. He stayed with me and helped me until we eventually got the problem sorted out and I was on my way. Had them do some painting on my motorhome. They said a week. Was three weeks. When I picked it up someone had gone through the inside and stole around $1000 of my personal items inside. Left on lots of the masking tape, rubbing compound, etc. To make up for it they said they would buff out my mini van and redo the pin stripping on the sides. Looked absolutely terrible. Pin stripping crooked, peeling off. Only buffed out a small portion of it. So disappointed. To top it off they took of my rear license plate holder, and put on a Nachos plate hold. Nacho's place is great. Not only did Nacho himself attend to me when I first went in for a quote, but when I returned a few weeks later, he remembered my car, and asked me what he'd quoted me. He charged exactly that. While they initially told me 3 days and it ended up taking 4, I'm not complaining because I'd rather have it done well than fast and haphazardly, and they return your car to you shiny clean. Their prices are very reasonable, and significantly less than other local shops that try and impress you with candy, water, and an air conditioned waiting area, but for that much of a price difference and kind, quality service, I could care less about water and candy and AC. My Subifox (subaru impreza) is back looking her finest, after roaming around with a dent and scratched paint on her rear bum for 4 months thanks to a parking lot hit and run. Thanks Nacho's!
