I had my SUV repaired in May 2025 (approximately one year ago) at your North Mays location in Round Rock. At the time of pickup/checkout, it was noted that the trim on the right rear passenger window was misaligned. A technician attempted to correct the issue; however, the alignment problem persisted and, during the attempt, the trim piece was damaged. Additionally, the window has not functioned properly since that time. I was advised that a replacement trim piece would be ordered, but I have not received any updates regarding this matter. I have since visited the location on four separate occasions and, each time, was assured that the issue would be addressed promptly and that the necessary part would be ordered. To date, I have not received any follow-up communication. I have also made multiple attempts to follow up via email and phone, including speaking directly with a manager. read more

They over-sprayed the inside of fully loaded tan leather seats/ black interior Honda and I had to point out. They did not replace the side molding and left in the back seat. They broke a $2500 system and throwing around the subwoofer and messing with the wires. This car only needed to be painted. Then the owner tells me I was stupid for buying a $2500 system. read more

Caliber Collision on Mays in Round Rock, TX I have used Caliber Collision for over 30 years and they just keep getting better. Not only is the work sound and long-lasting but my last experience with Justin and Omar put this facility over the top for me. I highly recommend this facility to anybody who needs work done. My truck had extensive hail damage on all panels including my tonneau cover. I cannot see a single ripple from the excellent work that was done. This speaks extremely highly of the team behind the management and again I highly recommend them. But this time was different Justin and Omar made my long-term experience a dream. Not only are they there when you need them status was always available and given to me at the completion of every step. I always felt like I knew exactly where my vehicle was Justin was outstanding as a manager probably the best that I have had my opportunities to deal with and Omar as a customer service interface who you always expect to be good was also more than excellent. I worked with Progressive to have Caliber schedule the hail damage to my car. Because they were backed up for months, the first appointment I was able to get was for September 2021 (For the hail that happened in April 2021). On the day of the appointment, I dropped my car and got the rental from Enterprise next door. A month goes by, and I hear nothing. I get a text from Progressive that my 1-month free rental is expiring, and I'll have to start paying out of pocket. I pay for 2 extra days and then drop the car back. I called Caliber after a few days - only to find out that they haven't even touched my car because the part they needed from Hyundai wasn't available. Caliber didn't think it was important to call me and let me know if the part shortage. They then asked me to pick up my car and they'd call me when the part is available again. I go and pick up my car. Fast forward December 30th, 2021, I call Progressive to figure out the next step to get my car repaired, and Progressive tells me that they have closed the claim and have already paid ~$3400 for the repairs. I asked them who they paid it to - and they said the check was in my name but was sent to Caliber. Apparently, Caliber decided to cash in the check that was in my name without ever talking to me - for the repair that they never performed. Had I not called Progressive, I'd have never found out about it. Caliber is now saying that they have no time until June 2022 - and here I'm on the hook working on figuring out how to get my insurance money so that I can get the car fixed myself. I've had my fair share of auto repair issues, but I've never dealt with this kind of unethical practice. I hope Caliber actually reads this and corrects their business practice. read more

When I asked where were on the list, I was advised we were #70. To date we have never been contacted by this company. I have had a vehicle in this shop for over a month now. I have reached out to Omar multiple times to update me on the status of the repairs. All I know at this point is they want to charge me $6500 for damages to a running board. Unfortunately instead of going there for an estimate first we dropped it off and they came back with that estimate. Crazy high! No one will get back with me from their company. I am unsure why it is taking so long or when it'll be finished. Unfortunately I am going to need to drive there from south austin to get a status update because they won't return my calls. This is my second time getting my vehicle repaired with this shop and I have dealt with Brad which is a very nice guy. He is straight forward and the shop really gets the job done. The job should have probably took three weeks but he got the job done in 1 week. Even when I was frustrated about a few things he explained everything to me and it all made since. After the September 24th hailstorm I had to wait a bit to call a body shop to repair the hail damage as the hail shattered the back window and I had to wait to get someone to come fix that. Called Caliber on 10-8 and spoke to Kevin. He was trying to transfer me to Madison who makes the appointments but after several tries she never picked up and he took my information. Said he would have Madison put me on her list to call me when they could get me in but it would be a while because of how many vehicles here damaged. In the meantime we were dealing with bad damage on our house and I did not check back - I figured I was "on the list". But my husband contacted several locations of Caliber last week for his car. Was told either they didn't have someone who could fix the damaged trim (excuse me - isn't this a BODY SHOP???) or they only had one person that did hail damage, etc, etc, etc. He finally got an appointment at one of their locations.......FOR JUNE! I called the Mays location this morning and spoke with Madison. Told her the date of my October call, that I had talked to Kevin and was supposed to be "on the list". She acted as if she was more or less blowing off the fact that I hadn't heard from them. Said she had just had a ton of calls. But I asked if I was "ON A LIST". She avoided that and said they were having customers bring their insurance estimates in, they would look at them and see what they could do. I asked why I didn't get a call instructing me to do this since I had called in October. Just simply kept avoiding the question and never apologized in any way that they HAD DROPPED THE BALL! The location on Sam Bass is making appointments for August! And when I called THERE she just sort of laughed about it. I called Classic Collision then as they are on State Farm's Preferred list. I have an appointment to get my car in this coming MONDAY! They did not ask to see the insurance estimate prior to making the appointment but did ask me to email it to them AFTER I had gotten the appointment all made so they would have it when I came. SO friendly and easy to deal with. We used Caliber a few years back for a car accident and they were wonderful. Not sure if EGO has gotten the better of them, whether their issues deal with staffing or just what. But that's it for Caliber for US. Take your business where it's appreciated. read more

I came here to get my car serviced. The receptionist was super friendly and very knowledgeable! They had a welcoming atmosphere and they were so efficient. Fast forward to the estimator, Robert! Wow! He knew I was going to have to pay out of pocket for a car rental and was determined to get my car in and out so quickly. He called me at least two to three times a day to keep me posted on the status of my car(in which I REALLY appreciated). He was very respectful, friendly, and professional. Long story short. Someone was texting and driving and they rammed into the back of my truck. I brought it out to caliber for an estimate. Keep in mind it was a cold rainy day but Robert McGraw braved the elements and checked out my truck thoroughly. He looked in all the nooks and crannies and was very communicative throughout the process. Ultimately the insurance company totaled the vehicle and caliber did not get the work. However, down the line, since they treated me with such class and consideration, this is the shop I will be going to. Overwhelmingly positive experience with this location (can't speak to any other location). Have had 3 cars worked on within the same month. All were repaired to m my satisfaction and on time. Communication was good. One of the cars was a friend's that I scratched up doing some off roading. I was convinced and ready for it to require a full paint job $$$. They could have done that. My car had gotten into a small wreck where the drivers side headlight area and bumper had to be totally replaced along with a couple of other panels around the same area. I was expecting it to take up to two weeks and Jason had my car done in about 5 days. It was obvious by the amount of cars there that they were packed full and had plenty of work to do. A friend backed into my front end, managing to spread the damage across the bumper, hood, lights and grill. His insurer recommended I go to Caliber. Yeah yeah, I said. I called up my insurer, USAA, which has my complete confidence after 14 years of incredible service. They independently seconded the recommendation. I have dealt with numerous body shops over the years; some as a customer, some as a bird-dogging car salesman during another life. In the past I have never had a completely satisfactory experience with any of these shops. It is the nature of the beast. The estimates never anticipate everything. Insurers constantly pressure to shave costs. Suppliers are suddenly out of stock, and you need to pay more elsewhere in short order. Pretty soon the work suffers, the bill goes up, there are no good excuses, and everyone's pissed. Caliber broke the streak. Everyone from the front counter ladies to the writers to the shop guys seemed obsessed with optimal customer service. My estimate took all of 20 minutes or so. I was updated by phone on the progress of my repairs every other day. On pickup my lifetime warranty was thoroughly explained and delivered. My car was brought out freshly washed and good as new. The work was absolutely flawless, despite the involvement of some high-end factory paint. They even repainted the passenger mirror I scraped up a few months back, gratis. Leaving without a gripe was such an unexpected moment I almost hugged the guy seeing me off. read more

I told the rep Michael Hernandez I wanted an estimate without body filler or bondo. He said I would have to talk to the insurance person. I said that is no problem I just need and estimate with no bondo since it is a new truck and did not have bondo or body filler. Well his estimate was emailed to me 3 hours later. When I asked him if it was with bondo he confirmed yes. I asked him again to tell me the price with out body filler! He said ok he will send it. I called the next day again asking. Michael Hernandez again told me he would have it by end of the day. Something about it was closed and needed to be opened again. I said ok no problem. Called again asked for manager. Was given Michael Hernandez. Still telling me I have to talk to the insurance person. Again I told him that is not a problem. I am trying to be a caliber collision customer. It appears callliber Collision has only the insurance company best interest in mind. It's been weeks and many calls and emails and I still do not have an estimate to have my truck repaired to the way it was before. It is a new truck. Avoid this company as they work for the insurance company not you. You are not their customers. read more
