After they had it for 3 weeks we had a call because they lost the key to the locking wheel locks, we took the spear key to find our New Truck full of dirt & leaves! They had taken the 2 doors off the truck & left it wide open! It was full of DIRT! We were told "Oh, we'll clean it up, it will be fine." When we got it back they had cleaned it up, it smelled so bad of DIRT I had to roll the windows down on the drive home to breath. We were asked if we gave a good review they would have the truck detailed. We agreed thinking we had no choice to try to get the truck cleaned. When we dropped it off for the detailing, I showed them the engine that was also covered in dirt. They had it detailed, but it still smelled of DIRT. We asked to have the air filter changed & Ray agreed to do it. Well 5 months later NO air filter, No phone call, NO nothing. Please don't let them do to you what they did to us. We No longer have a NEW TRUCK it still smells of DIRT.

The only downside was I had to wait a month to take my vehicle in which they let me know right off the bat. They gave me a date to take it in and it was well worth the wait. I only decided to wait because I wanted to make sure that my vehicle would be fixed right the first time and by the best that I can find. I was not disappointed. They kept me updated often on the progress of my vehicle and when I went to pick it up it looked like a brand new vehicle even smelled new. They had not only repaired it but it was washed and cleaned inside and out. Repairs took approximately 2 weeks and my truck was ready to go.

She was insured by USAA so I took her insurance info and filed a claim. I can't speak to how it worked on her end but on mine it was great. I had expected that I would be put off and they would try to send me to a low rent repair shop where they would use cheap knockoff parts or parts salvaged from a junkyard. NONE of that happened. USAA sent me to Cavender Collision Center, the body shop department of my GMC dealer, Cavender GMC Buick North. This is a good as it gets for body work in San Antonio, Texas. Cavender made the repair using new GMC OEM parts; replaced the bumper, including the step and the decorative chrome strip, painted it with a perfect color match, and it looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor. They also replaced the damaged sensor. The little plastic trim item in the driver's door that covers the bolt that holds the latch mechanism together had broken and fallen off. I had intended to order a new one but hadn't gotten around to it. They replaced it for no charge and didn't even mention it. Yes, I know the little part was not expensive but it was a kindness that I didn't expect. The driver-side low beam headlight was out and I had bought the replacement bulb but hadn't installed it. Cavender installed it with a smile; no charge. The bumper repair was flawless; beautiful job. Paint is not easy; especially automotive paint. Whoever painted my bumper is an artist. It looks like factory. Kudos to Samantha Romo, Cavender Collision Center receptionist, and to Conrad Muth, my Cavender Collision Center service rep. Well done. You guys turned a potentially miserable experience into a trip to the supermarket with my wife; not an experience I look forward to but one that's necessary and you made it as painless as possible. Sometimes the right people turn a potentially miserable experience into an opportunity to meet them. If you need body work, I highly recommend Cavender Collision Center. Now it's taken them a day and a half to try and correct it but cant be bothered until after the weekend to attempt the second delivery. Week 3 for a minor fender bender. STAY AWAY! To quote their management " there are body shops on every corner in San Antonio".....I should have gone to one of them. Rick and Hank - You need to find better people to run the family business.

There were some back and forth issues with the rep who was assigned my case and the insurance company and some general lack of communication. The last two weeks of my claim really ramped up and got moving when Greg (manager) got involved. He excused the prior wait and lack of communication and indicated that the person working on my case was no longer with the company. After he got involved, there was great communication, and the work that was done was excellent. He was sympathetic to my wait and frustration. I appreciated that when I called the office I always got ahold of a live person. Usually this was Jackie who was always friendly and super helpful. The work was excellent, and you wouldn't even know there was any damage. I've had the car back about a month now and wanted to make sure there were no residual issues before writing the review. Working great. They provided pictures and an itemized roster of the work done. I'm grateful they stepped up, turned things around, and proved that customer satisfaction is their top priority.

Thursday April 17, I got in a car wreck and my vehicle was totaled. San Antonio Police Department…read morecalled a random tow company that was close to my home and it just so happened to be Mission Collision Center. They are closed on the weekends as most places are, but thankfully I had the following day off. I was able to get over to see my vehicle and take some photos for insurance. They also let me get inside and get as much of my belongings out as I could. A few days later I had to go back out again and get more photos for insurance. My second visit they told me I would be assigned to someone to help me with my car and my claim. I explained that I had several companies working with me and I was a little stressed out. A short time later, Dale, their general manager reached out to me directly and said he would be taking over my situation. He was very responsive and helpful and was very honest with me about the charges and the situation I was in. He reached out to my financial company that had the loan for my car and talk to the finance company directly. He worked out a deal with them to help me with the storage charges until they could process the claim since there were three companies working on the vehicle claim. Once they were able to process the claim and I was able to get an adjuster out Dale went to the car himself and helped them process everything to determine what the appraisal of my car was and the damages sustained in the accident. He reached out to let me know That I had a claims adjuster come out, so I knew that I could follow up on the claim with the third-party company. I kept getting the runaround from the Finance and the insurance company so I was feeling very frustrated. I kept reaching out to Dale several times to figure out what to do with my car. The finance company told me it was my problem and to figure it out myself. At a loss, I reached out to Dale to see what my options were. He went through and explained the damages to my car and an estimated cost to fix it. He did reiterate that without taking the car completely apart, they could not give me a completely accurate quote. He used his years of expertise to be able to answer all of my questions. I appreciated his honesty and treating me like I was a family member rather than just a customer. He helped me sort through all of the issues and concerns that I had with my vehicle and the appraisals. It is now May 6 and he has personally resolved my car situation and guided me in the direction to determine my next steps. I could not be happier with them and their willingness to help me out above and beyond their scope of simply "towing and storing" my car. I would recommend Dale and Mission Collision Center in any scenario where you need a body shop or a tow.

I took my 2002 F-350 to them after "The Great Texas Freeze: February 11-20, 2021 when it was stolen. The police were able to recover it with damages.  My friend John M recommended I take it to his friend Manny at Bolado's Automotive. They did an excellent job on my truck restoring it almost to great condition at a very reasonable cost. When the incorrect bed to the truck was sent to them by the parts suppliers, they diligently searched the NATION to ensure the right bed was found. It took a while but they assured me it would be done right above all! I had to go to Europe for transplant evaluation in March so he allowed me to leave my truck there to do some minor repairs during my absence. I ended up gone until September but they took care of me.  Even when my truck was vandalized he is still assisting me with the repairs and helping my friend John (Navy Veteran) get a replacement car. Manny is a highly decorated veteran (only flaw he was not USAF, but US MARINE and a true professional. He runs a great business and is very VETERAN supportive.  I have come to realize that relationships are VERY important to him.
