I initially brought my car in for what I believed was a simple oil leak. After waiting several weeks, I was informed the issue was something completely different and that additional work was needed, including repairs involving the AC compressor and other components. I ended up paying around $5,000 for those repairs. Two weeks after picking up my car, it was still leaking oil. I returned it, expecting the issue to be covered under warranty, but was then told the new problem was not included and would cost an additional $2,000. At that point, after already spending a significant amount of money and time without resolving the original issue, I was told the vehicle needed an entirely new engine. I ultimately had no choice but to leave the car there. This experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing. What started as a straightforward repair turned into a costly and unresolved situation, with shifting diagnoses and little accountability. What great service. I had a slow leak in one of my rear tires. A co-worker kindly volunteered to fix it with his patch kit. However, after looking at the tire, I wasn't too sure if the patch was supposed to be sticking out of it the way it was (picture provided). Because I wasn't comfortable driving my vehicle with the patch hanging out like that, I stopped by Polo's Point (S) and asked for a better patch service so I can feel comfortable on the road. Within minutes, Daniel had my tire re-patched and up and running. I was in shock with the results. A HUGE difference. And NOW, I feel safe on the road. Poor service. Customer service sucks. Needed to fix a flat tire and they said they are closed. Website says 7pm not 6:30pm. Flat tire repair would take 10 min to fix. Guess they don't want customers. used to come here often, recently went to get a tire patched up. walked up said hello to the guys outside and they completely ignored me. waited a bit and asked if I needed to go inside he said everyone has to wait there turn. I just waited for over an hour till they finally acknowledged me, looked at my tire and said we don't patch that. It took 10 seconds to look at it. There's no system no one greeting you nothing like they're not even happy with their job. went Somewhere else they where busy but told me they don't patch them right away, but to go inside and order a new one. wasn't that hard. dont recommend this place read more

Went in 4 days ago just for a alignment for my truck, they called and said that my truck needed new tie rods on both ends,ok no biggie, next day comes and it should've been ready for pickup but no the left side didn't come in yet (apparently). So the 3rd day arrives and nothing at all. 4th day they called and say that something for the tie rods didn't come in so they just got it at 6:00pm. And tomorrow it should've be ready for pickup. In short, don't take your cars here for a small 1 hour and 30 minute job that you could do in your driveway but they take almost a week to get it done (ps there was only two cars getting worked on when I got my appointment) read more

Got an oil change, inspection and took advantage of holiday discounts. Service was friendly. Lobby was comfortable with tvs and coffee. Only feedback was the wait time. Went in to get my rims replaced. I bought my own from American Muscle and needed a quick swap. It's was anything but that. Clerk tells me that I need to replace all 20 lug nuts and they are $5 each just for him to tell me they are sold out and I can get the cheaper ones for $2... why upsale me the first time so off the bat I don't trust him. I went in requesting diagnose of front driver suspension, knocking the mechanic came back with determination that it was the motor mounts in order to change the motor mounts. We had to change the time cover gasket because it leaked on it and deteriorated the existing motor mount OK. they also said I needed the oil pan gasket transmission pan gasket and new tires estimated $3700 later I take my car and the knock is still there. This is not the first time that this has happened to me at this shop at this shop, not only that in the process of whatever worked they did they broke a gas line, and then tried to hide it by doing a quick patch on the gas line very hazardous and unprofessional. I took it back. I talked to a so-called manager pointed out how dirty they left the vehicle. There was oil and grease smudges around the vehicle all on the rims, the mechanic didn't clean up after himself , and also broke a gas line and try to cover it up. It was also leaking gas so imagine how hazard that is to let a customer leave with a leaking gas line very unprofessional very unsatisfied. The manager said that they would give me a car wash all they did was wipe the car down. They did fix the gas line , and they filled my transmission oil which was on empty nearly given that they put a new gasket which would require for new oil. It was empty. I took it back for the diagnostics on the knocking sound again and now they're saying that it's going to be the front struts or shocks. I am not too confident after the first diagnosis of the first mechanic saying it was the motor mount. Other than that, the customer service at the front desk is always great. It's not their fault that the mechanics do a poor job. Lots of communication is needed here better follow-ups better inspections better diagnostics do better. I've been going to the shop for years and this is the second time they've let me down. read more

I've only been here to get my state inspections for my cars, and thats always a good and fast experience. but a few weeks ago I had a nail in my tire. So I pulled up to the tire side, a gentleman told me to pull up further, asked what was wrong and he got to work on it right away! 10 minuets later the tire was plugged and reinstalled on my truck. I R A R E L Y give five stars, but no doubts about it - I'M A FAN! My girlfriend's family takes their cars to Rodriguez, and have since they moved to San Antonio years ago. My first trip, they did some brake work for me, and I was pleasantly surprised at the cost. For a moment I actually thought they may have miscalculated what I owed... Very nice work, very friendly. Second time: Had my oil changed at a place I won't mention. Before I knew it, guy comes up and tells me I need upward of $2,500.00 of work on my car. Told him I'd only be doing an oil change. Miraculously, the next thing I knew, he'd "knocked it all down to $1,700.00" with discounts. Definitely shady, definitely needed a second opinion, and Rodriguez it was! Went in, told them everything and supplied documentation of what the other guys said needed to be done. A few hours later, I received a phone call and was walked through everything on the list, and was provided opinions of what needed to be done, when it needed to be done, what could wait, etc. Bottom line, they gave me a thorough review of where my car was and what was going to be needed maintenance wise in the coming months. They were honest and I appreciated it. They didn't try to fix something that could honestly wait, and didn't "push the panic button" the way these guys at the other place did. What a complete waste of time... Went up to polo's with a buddy of mine because his truck was leaking coolant. Instead of taking a look real quick just to diagnose the problem they wanted to keep his truck overnight for observation. Which I thought was weird, because it wasn't busy at all. No one seemed like they wanted to help or were even interested in helping. Mind you, my buddy already had spent around 6k at this establishment from previous work. Took my lifted f250 to Polo's to get a wheel alignment today. I can't say enough good things about the staff. I had called several different "4x4 shops" only to be told it would be 2 weeks before I could get the truck aligned. I also called several "alignment shops" that told me my tire's were to big and wouldn't fit on their alignment machine. I decided to try Polo's since I was in the area, so glad I did! The technician that helped me(Hunter) explained to me the process and if he could get the truck tires to line up with the sensors, he could do it. Needless to say, he got it done!
