I dropped my car off on a Monday. They were supposed to have someone from enterprise meet me there with a rental. They didnt, so I had to wait for that, even though I'd spent an hour on the phone making sure everything was good to go. They ended up changing their finish date four times. They never updated me on the progress of my car. I had to call every time, which is the only way I knew when my car was finished. The outside looks great! You can't tell it was ever hit to begin with. But the inside of my car is disgusting. There are black grimy handprints on the doors, frame, and dash. There's dirt handprints on all the seats too. Basically, the outside looks great. They did a very good job. If you're okay with a three day fix taking eight days and the inside of your car being crazy dirty, use them! I can't complain THAT much because I didnt have to pay for the fix. But now I have to pay for a cleaning. read more

I had already obtained an estimate from another body shop when my insurance company stipulated that I take my car to Caliber Collision. The estimate they gave me was sufficiently lower so that I was able to have some additional work done, over what the insurance company was funding. They said my Jeep would be ready on the 09/13/18 but I had to call for them to notify me that my Jeep would be ready today 09/14/18, got a call to pick up my Jeep today because it's ready, so I got there and asked to do a walk around of my Jeep before I sign anything or pay, first thing I noticed was there was a white paint spot on the black paint that they freshly painted, the fresh paint on the door handle is warped and dried dripping, they supposedly washed my Jeep but it's covered in dirty water streak marks, looks terrible, above the drivers door there's a white chip mark that i don't recall being there, I asked for the before pic and he said there wasn't anything in the before pic, but he will have to look at the camera, there's dirty white marks inside my Jeep from the work they did, usually if you pick up a car from the shop it's supposed to clean at least, All the reps are really nice people but time management and actual work is terrible, they promised my Jeep will be ready on Monday 09/17/18, I'm not rushing you guys I just want what I'm paying for, to be done correctly and it be ready when you say it is so I can actually plan my day around it to pick up my Jeep! I thought reputation was everything, here's to hoping Monday will be better and I can give a better review because some of the reps there are really nice people ** update! Got a call on 09/17/18 that my car will not be ready until today 09/18/19, Got my Call today From Fidel my service advisor that my car was ready, I want to add that previously on my original pickup day on the 09/14/18 when I had a bad experience, both my Reps were off that day! Today both Reba my Geico Rep and My Caliber Rep Fidel was there and the situations was a complete 180 from last time I was there! so much better and I had better service, everything was handled smoothly and repairs looked better than first time around , service was better and everyone apologized for the mishap and I'm super happy I got my Jeep back , the manager took the time to apologize and promised to train employees more to better service, Fidel And Reba were amazing from the start and i feel the situation would have been good if they were present on the original pick up day, they're amazing, if I had to use your services again I would only want Fidel and Reba to handle my claims they're awesome so I'm changing my 1 star to 2 mainly because of those two reps! But I probably won't use you again because the overall experience was sloppy and I got my car back six days later than originally promised, update today 09/23/18 I noticed one of the plastic side pieces that they replaced looked a bit crooked because the glue is losing strength so it's starting to slip and I can see glue behind it that looks tacky but not dried completely, I've had my car for back for 6 days so I'm keeping my eyes on it to see if it falls off, the actual repair experience from this company was really crappy and amateur, I told them there's no rush I just want it done correctly, that clearly wasn't the case, next time I know better, and now we're back to one star. Yeah they have lifetime warranty but no one has time for that! Wasting peoples time and money, just do it right the first time. Why's is it so so hard to do a simple job correctly. Awesome service, my advisor was Travis. From the moment i walked in i was greeted by DeAujah she said Travis would be right with me and within 3 mins. he was in the lobby paper work in hand and ready to go over my vehicle. I had multiple concerns but throughout the course of our conversation her was able to ease my mind with the knowledge and thoroughness of the repair process he explained to me. He explained there may be parts delays that were out of his control, but he made me feel like i was the only client he was working with which made me feel like i wsa cared about. Here's the background story, my poor little Sentra had been in two accidents just weeks apart from one another. On both occasions we took our car to a Caliber Collision and I do not regret it one moment. Caliber Collision as a company has always been able to give their customers peace of mind when it comes to restoring their vehicles back to new and this review is no different. I had previously sent my Sentra to their store front in Kettner Blvd, per usual they did an amazing job, fixed every bit that was damaged in a hit and run. When I finally got the car, I thought all my troubles were gone, that, that would be the only accident we would have for years to come, little did I know just a few weeks later, a unlicensed 18 year old boy would reverse into my car and once again cause my little Sentra more damage than she was used to. After trial and tribulation with the other parties insurance, we were finally able to get the process of fixing our car started. We were referred to the Mission Valley location because it was closer to our home, my fiancé and I were a bit hesitant, because we had previously been serviced at the Kettner Blvd location, but we were re-assured by the Caliber Collision Representative that we were going to receive the same great service had been given in the past. My fiancé Bryan had been in constant contact with Joel, a Caliber Collision Adjuster, he was so attentive to our needs and our concerns. My fiancé can be a bit of a hot head, so when things don't necessarily go the way things are planned, he can get a bit impatient. Bryan was really impressed by the service from the team at Mission Valley, he told me that the staff ending up knowing him by name when he came in, he said that the receptionist America was extremely personable, never once making Bryan feel unwanted or uncomfortable. We brought our Sentra in on Tuesday and we received a phone call on Wednesday saying that it would be ready, by Friday morning. It's as if we were VIP customers, I know sounds silly, but that's how we felt. Absolutely thrilled with this repair shop. Start to finish they made it so easy and fast for me to fix my car. Enterprise picked me up after my car was looked over and I simply left the rental with Caliber Collision when my car was ready. This shop is very clean on a corner of a quiet street in mission valley. It only took one day to fix my car which makes this experience all the better. The bumper looks brand new. I went to Caliber through Geico. Travis and co. made me feel like a valued customer from the get-go. The young lady (I am sorry I forgot your name) from Enterprise had a very soft and welcoming voice and got me in a high-quality rental within 15 minutes of dropping off my car. My car was ready a day before the estimation date and looked as good as new. I have had bad experiences with places before, but this was above and beyond. It completely erased the fact that my car was vandalized. I hope to never have to deal with a similar situation with my car ever again, but it is relieving to know such a place exists. I went down to caliber to get an estimate for my minivan I hit a wall just scraped it it was some minor damage it would cost me about $2000 to repair which was a good deal but in the meantime Fidel took out a buffer on his own time and buffed out the damage that could be buffed out so that it didn't look so bad he did this for nothing this shows integrity and willingness to earn your customers I'll be bringing my cars back here whenever I need to. Getting into a car accident is never fun. Lucky for me, this was my first accident, and I'm 50! I wasn't sure what to expect, and I've heard horror stories of people not getting their cars back for months, and the repairs are crap. Well, my experience with Caliber Collision was amazing. They fixed my car like new again, and very quickly! They were fantastic in keeping me up-to-date on the status of the repairs, including photos and text messages. I couldn't ask for anything more. Brought my vehicle here for warranty work to be performed , I previously went in to speak to them and to set up a appointment Everything was ready to go Came here Since the warranty is honored at every caliber collision center. is what I was told Plus it's down the street from where I live. Big mistake. Apparently it's not. I was told to drive out of my way to the original place where the work was performed The whole warranty honor at every caliber collision is false I got in around 9. The car was looked at and a rental was going to be provided and I waited for over forty minutes. When BS So I took my car to the other facility pissed off!!! Handed them my key asked them to fix the blemish and started on my four mile walk back home. Never ever experienced such constant crappy customer service. Make things worse the work that was going to be performed that the rep said was going to be done was not done at the other facility. Should have gone to the dealership. read more

I went in for a personal appt for a repair my Son damaged on our Tahoe door by opening it while my wife was backing out of garage and he not only hit garage door but his door would not shut When I called same day and they had time to squeeze me in and they took care me of me right when I arrived Fidel helped me and looked at car door, told me to wait for a few mins. After two good experiences with repairs on my cars through insurance I made a decision to trust these folks with my Mini Cooper S. It was looking a bit worn and the hood was bent from an accident that happened before I bought the car. I called and made an appointment and told the tech I met with that the main reason for my visit was the damaged hood and that I also wanted to have the front and rear bumpers resprayed. I mentioned that I had a replacement trim ring in the trunk that could be used to replace the one in the trunk after straightening the hood. After looking over the car they prepared a quote that included aligning the hood and repainting the bumpers. Since I was unfamiliar with their terminology I did not understand that aligning the hood didn't include straightening the hood, and after dropping off the car and reviewing the in process photos that I requested, I noticed that the hood was not straightened. I mentioned this to my service tech and was told that was not in the quote and that there would be an additional cost. This really ticked me off as the hood repair was the primary reason I brought my car in. The tech said I misread the quote and that it was my problem. He said that he could re-quote the additional work and that I'd have to approve the additional work. He sent me a quote and I approved the work. The shop did the work and they sent me a few more in process pictures of my car. They were supposed to finish the car on a Thursday but were delayed because of a production/quality issue of some kind. This meant they needed to keep the car over the weekend. I had planned some mechanical work on the car for the weekend. There was very poor communication about this delay and since they didn't let me know as soon as it happened, it caused me some significant hassles around my schedule that could have been avoided with a simple phone call or text. I asked for a discount for my inconvenience and they obliged, but for less than I asked. Before coming to get my car, I received a call from the tech to let me know they couldn't figure out how to reattach my front license plate mounting kit correctly. I felt this was odd because I had installed it just prior to delivering the car and the installation process was fairly simple. I told the tech to leave it in my car and that I would reinstall it myself. It turns out that when the shop removed the plate mount they damaged it because they removed it improperly. If I had taken a close look at it when I picked up the car I would have noticed the mistake and pointed it out. All in all, the paint/body work is ok, but even though there is a warranty on the work I don't think I'll ever go back. I don't think i would trust the shop to listen to what I'm saying when I ask for work to be performed or perform the work with an adequate level of communication regarding the schedule. read more

First, this is one of the cleanest, most modern facilities I've seen. A good sign as it shows they take pride in their shop. I brought my car in to have the front bumper replaced. When they removed the bumper they found additional damage to the inside/frame which required another part they weren't anticipating. The manager drove to another location to pick up the new part they needed. When all was said and done, I dropped it off at 8:30am and it was done by 4pm the same day. Joel even washed it and vacuumed the interior! The end result looks amazing and it has a lifetime warranty. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. Recently, I took my Nissan Titan to Caliber on Vandever Street to repair damage done to my truck at a Costco gas station. A driver changed lanes and put pin striping (paint transfer) from her mirror to my truck' The damage begin midway through the bed of the truck continuing to the rear door and part of the front door. I was told by Joey, the gentleman that checked in my vehicle , that it may just need buffing out. I received a call the next day that my truck was ready! I checked my truck out and was very disappointed! Some of the marks were gone, but there were two white marks that were not there before the incident. After doing a closer review, I noticed that ONLY the rear door had been buffed out and a bit of the bed! They allegedly guarantee their work! One would think that they would buff out that side of the vehicle so that it would all match? I advised them I was not satisfied and would not accept the poor workmanship. I also advised them, you don't get a second chance to make a first impression! Per the insurance company, I took my truck where I wanted to, to begin. Please beware if you take your vehicle to this caliber collision center. I have heard other locations do a much better job! read more
