Took my car there for an estimate after my left fender was hit by another ca. Ricardo looked at the car and said he can't give an estimate since the fender has existing condition. I mentioned its from long ago and if fender is going to be replaced, it won't matter anymore and that I won't blame Caliber for it. he said he will talk to his manager and refused to give an estimate. I believe he never talked to anyone though. Wasted an hour (including driving there). I will not visit Caliber again and won't recommend to anyone. read more

Awesome service! I came in for an estimate on my headlights (I have a 2005 Acura and the headlights were yellowish from grime and just being an older car). Mark gave me an estimate and had me in and out pretty quickly. I saved money compared to other auto detailers that i called (super pricey!) Good to know I saved money, time and I saw a MAJOR difference in my lights. They were clear and driving at night...i feel safer because I can see more of the road. My car was seriously damaged in a hit-and-run accident on Saturday evening. The damage was severe enough that the car could not be driven so I had it towed to a lot in Sunnyvale. I called the 24-hour claim service of my insurance carrier, Nationwide. They recommended Caliber Collision for the repairs and arranged to have the car towed to the Caliber shop in Sunnyvale, less than a mile from the tow lot. The car did not arrive at Caliber until late on Tuesday. When I phoned to confirm that it was there and asked when they would be able to assess the damage and begin repairs, I was told that no estimate could be made until the following Monday -- at the earliest! Now I am wishing I had chosen a different shop from those recommended by Nationwide. Caliber touts is fast service, asserting that it typically completes repair work in less time than the competition. Now I am wondering if this claim simply means they are fast once they have gotten around to assessing the damage. I have also learned that Caliber's contract with Nationwide requires them to prepare a damage assessment within 48 hours of receiving a vehicle. In any event, every day of delay is costing me additional money for a car rental. I assume Caliber Collision does good work on car repairs but I am deeply disappointed at the inordinate and unacceptable delay in getting the essential first step completed. read more

Right from setting up appointment with Jennifer at front desk to being received by Justin, going through the entire process of estimation and paper work signing was handled very professionally and in a customer friendly manner. Justin went out of the way to fix some bruises and spots here and there on the rest of the car body as well. 2. Timeliness : Extremely good on punctuality. Kept all the scheduled appointment times at all times I visited them. In fact they checked in my car at 8:00 am even though my appointment was a bit later that day. Same was the case with delivery of the vehicle. Initial estimate was 3 days. Justin got the work done one day prior. Received text messages from time to time on the progress of the work done so far and kept me informed about the delivery time as it approached 3. Quality of Work: Great job once again. I never write Yelp reviews, but I really feel compelled to do so after the experience I had with Caliber Collision this week. In short, this place is outstanding. After experiencing my second collision in six weeks(!), I was pretty upset, as you might imagine. I called the place that had repaired my car in January, and found out that they wouldn't be able to take my car for 2.5 weeks. So by the time I called Caliber Collision, I was crying like a baby over the phone. Justin calmly helped me get repairs started on my car *that day*, but also treated me with a kindness and empathy that's rare to find these days. Despite needing quite a bit of work, my car was fixed up within a few days and with minimal hassle. Justin kept in touch with me throughout the process and updated me on the status of the repairs. I am so happy to have my car back, and relived that it was in good hands. This place, and Justin in particular, really made the best of a bad situation for me. I am deeply appreciative of the work the staff did on my car, their quick turnaround, and their truly exceptional customer service. My car was bought to this place recommended by my insurance company.  This is the worst company I have dealt with.  They assigned me a contact person by the name of Roxanne Solis.  She is lazy and unprofessional.  In our first meeting, she took all my information and claimed that she would contact with my insurance company and get back to me.  Nothing happened in two weeks.  I called her and she amazing said "Have you contacted your insurance company?"  I said we both agreed that you would call.  She said okay.  Two weeks later, no response from her.  I called my insurance company and was told that no one had called at all.  So I wrote her an email asking her to get the ball rolling.  No response.  I waited a week, wrote another email, no response.  I switched to another repair shop and got the problem resolved in two days.  I would not touch this person.  It seems like the management does not manage these people and are clueless. read more

Minor traffic collision 130pm. Call them and say I'm on the way for an estimate. Maybe two miles away from accident location. Immediately informed they were busy and could not do repairs. Ok. Explained that I am local, have insurance and not looking for immediate repair. Was informed that no one was available through 530pm for an estimate while was then only 1/4 mile from their location. So went to Auto Nation a block away. Great service there. The discusting part is after the estimate at Auto Nation which was done in less twenty minutes and received while having a meal at Panera maybe a mile away from Caliber Collision. The same person I made original contact with at Caliber ended up sitting in the table next to me. Interesting. No appointments available and too much work to take an estimate for someone who had been in an accident, has been a customer and referred business to you in the past? read more

This is my 4th or 5th time to have my cars body repaired at Caliber Collision at Arques Ave. The reasons for keep going back to Caliber are simple: Excellent customer service and quality work together with prompt repairs without delay. Recently my car was hit and damaged by a truck but the other party insurance company, which is situated out of state, was willing to pay only about 10% of the repair costs. Denny was able to negotiate with the insurance company on my behalf and got my car fully repair at total costs to the insurance company. The car repair was completed promptly and even exceeds my expectation, Danny personally delivered the car to my home. I really appreciated his service and I have no hesitation to recommend anyone who needs body shop repair. Danny, thanks again for your help! read more

I am a very inactive Yelper but I gathered all my energy to write this review to say "Thank You". I came in here in for a front bumper and headlight repair/replacement after a minor parking lot incident. Danny was great and explained all the possible options in detail and as the parts were not in repairable condition, he suggested for the replacement to the Insurance company. When I left my car for repair, he was generous and helped me in arranging for a rental car. And during the week of repair, he called me 2-3 times to update the status and this ensured me that this place is truly professional in what they do. I picked up my car after a week and noticed that the left headlamp which got replaced had some issues as the light was not traveling far compared to my old/original right headlamp. I drove with this condition for months (my fault) and finally reported the issue to Danny and killed my procrastination. The first few words from Danny "My friend, I'am here to help you" really impressed me and at this point I knew that he will address my issue. He believed me and acknowledged the issue as it was hard to check during daytime, made few calls to the Insurance and got approval for a brand new OEM part. The headlamp was replaced within few hours and I was out of the door. Danny delivered what he promised me on my first visit "Lifetime Guarantee" on the parts, repair, replacement. I will update more extensively my review once I figure out what to do because i was left without a car. I have a 2017 Ford Explorer! Luis was the one in charge of my car! They took it in because my insurance gave me their shop as their primary shop, so I figured it was easier! DONT MAKE THE SANE MISTAKE! they returned my car, they took forever to fix it! After a month I get a flat tire, I try to change my tire and guess what! THEY LOST THE LOCK FOR THE TIRE!!!! It's a brand new car, I have never touched my tires, they were the o my ones who touched it before,they lost it! I was left in my office with my 2 kids with a flat tire and the response from them was, we are closing in 30 min there is nothing we can do! We will call you tomorrow!!!!! THEY NEVER CALLED ME BACK! I had to pay $150.00 for the spare tire to be changed because I had no lock! I waited a day for them to call me and I ended up calling back! LUIS THE ONE IN CARGE said he would call me back after I explained the mess, he never did! I had to call back again twice! Only for them to say, they could take care of it but they couldn't give me a rental over the weekend! Or that I could take the car on Monday! It's Friday! I can't keep driving with the little spare tire I called them 4 days ago!!!! I can't keep driving not because of looks, because it's unsafe, the little tire is not even half of what my tire is, i had explained this to him before.IS THIS FAIR??? They should take responsibility! THEY WANT TO GET YOUR CAR IN AND OUT. THEY DONT CARE AND WONT BE CAREFUL! They will not assume responsibility for the damage they cause to your cars!!!! DONT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE!!! Now I am stuck with a $150 bill still needing to buy new locks at the ford dealer and a flat tire!!! And all the week lost thanks to them!!! read more

If I could give this place an even lower rating, I would. They kept my truck for five days, and had extremely poor communication about what they were working on during those five days. So when I finally decided to just go to the shop to see what was going on, they did absolutely no work on my truck. When I asked why no work was done to the area that THEY damaged a few days before (which is why I had to bring it back to this location) the managers excuse was that it was the "trainee" who did the job. No problem to leave vehicle and included a faily simple extra for no charge.
