Go here. They are nice and honest and better than another 5 star rated auto shop in Tacoma. You won't regret it.

Their customer service was awful. Be away from this business. They did not keep the promise. Do not trust what they are saying.

Just got my car back after a major collision, it's like brand new! I highly recommend giving them a call for auto repairs!

I had a wonderful experience with the team at Matsenko Auto. I have a 2021 charger scat pack with a…read morebig brake setup (400 mm two-piece rotors and 6 piston brembo brakes). For a dealer job with OEM parts, this costs around $4500 for the front pair. After doing tons of research, I decided to utilize a quality aftermarket kit. However, when I talked to the dealer, they tried to steer me away from this, and while they said they could do it with aftermarket parts, they seemed very unsure and cited issues with prior customers going this route. Another local shop told me they wouldn't be comfortable replacing just the rotors (they wanted me to bring a factory rotor/hat assembly which is honestly unnecessary if old hats are in good shape). I did not feel very confident with both shops. I reached out to Matsenko on yelp by chance and their tech, William, responded within a couple of hours and knew exactly what I was trying to do. I was honestly surprised at how knowledgeable he was with my specific brake job and decided to give them a shot. They got me in quick, and everything was done by end of next day. The brake job is excellent, there is no noise or judder, and braking action is very smooth. In addition, they did an hvac cleaning for me (i had some contamination in my evaporator core) which another shop tried, and failed, and charged me $500 for the whole ordeal. All of this was done well at a fraction of the cost at Matsenko, and I saved thousands. I am very pleased with everything, and the amount of attention to communication I received is something I rarely see these days. Everyone was also very nice and personable, from the shop owner, to the tech and to reception which is also less common these days. I drove all the way from Olympia to have this done, and when my rear brakes need a swap, I know who I'll be calling Thank you for the wonderful service everyone!

They patched up my window for me, for free. Then, he gave me advice on a reputable place to get my windows fixed. The company he recommended was great, and even helped me by recommending ordering used parts to help with overall costs, (excess of $800) bringing down the overall costs to around 240. Substantial to say the least. Great people, great company. Also, I noticed some people saying the mechanics may have been rude. My experience was "You get what you give." , they seemed decent and hard working, they weren't shamming in the shop, or taking excessive smoke breaks. They looked hard at work, doing their jobs, nothing shady at all. All in all, 5 stars for overall cleanliness of work area, efficiency and general excellence.

I have never been this disappointed with a body shop, especially one that my insurance company…read morerecommended and that I genuinely thought I could trust. My car was only 50 days old when it was involved in a minor parking lot sideswipe with a trailer. The damage was not severe. The trailer clipped the lower driver-side fender, went across the wheel area toward the front bumper, and left a very small ding in the driver's door. The door ding was barely larger than the end of a pencil eraser. When I brought the car here, everyone was extremely friendly and reassuring. I was repeatedly told that my vehicle would be repaired properly and would look as close to factory as possible. Because this is a nearly brand-new Mazda, I specifically cared about maintaining the factory appearance and paint quality. I was assured that any paintwork would be done to Mazda specifications. After they had my car for about two weeks, I came to pick it up. The vehicle was parked in the shade near the building. During the walk-around, everything appeared fine. Then I got home and saw the car in proper lighting. I was shocked. Nearly every panel they worked on is visibly a different color from the rest of the vehicle. The metallic flake does not match the factory paint and reflects light differently. The wheel does not look right. Even worse, my entire vehicle now has visible paint swirls that were not there when I dropped it off. What upset me most was discovering that they painted my entire driver's door. I was never told that the entire door needed to be painted, and I never wanted that done. The dent was tiny. My expectation was that something that small would be addressed with paintless dent repair if possible. Had I been told they planned to repaint an entire factory-painted door on a 50-day-old vehicle, I absolutely would have wanted to discuss other options first. Mazda's factory metallic paint is complex, and matching the color, metallic flake orientation, and finish matters tremendously. I was specifically reassured that the repair would match the factory finish. It does not. In direct light, the difference is obvious. What started as roughly $3,000 in relatively minor cosmetic damage now looks like a much larger problem to correct properly. Instead of getting my nearly new car back in pre-accident condition, I now have mismatched paint, a repainted door I did not expect, an improperly matched finish, and swirl marks across a vehicle that was practically brand new. That is what makes this so upsetting. I trusted this shop with a car I had owned for less than two months. I trusted the assurances that it would be repaired correctly. I expected to get my car back looking the way it did before the accident. I did not. Friendly customer service means very little when the finished repair leaves you wishing you had never brought your vehicle there in the first place. I will attach photos because they speak for themselves. I strongly encourage anyone considering this shop, especially anyone with a newer vehicle or metallic paint, to inspect the finished work outside, in direct sunlight, from multiple angles before accepting the vehicle. I wish I had.
