My favorite, is cold pressed apple cider served ice cold or hot! can't walk in here without taking some of it home with me. I've tried cherry, boysenberry, and many other flavors over the years. My favorite is the classic cold pressed apple cider! It's tangy and zesty. While being rich, and full in body. With strong notes of warm baking spices! It's Fall in a cup. You can also get hot apple cider during the Fall and Winter. Which, I highly recommend! If they have it, get a few cups! You won't regret it. Everyone, is always super sweet and very knowledgeable! So, make sure to take a few minutes to ask some questions about Julian. Also, if you go to the very back they have a press where they press the apples for the cider right in front of you. When you park, the building is a little unassuming. However, once you walk in, there's a fantastic little bar where you can order different ciders. We always get a flight to share and bring it outside. They have a sitting area with a pretty view. My wife swears the air is crisper there... It's relaxing. Inside they also have a wonderful selection of infused olive oils and balsamic vinegars. They have tasting cups and crackers to find the one you like. The trivia was just about to start, and we had a few moments to get some cider. They don't serve food, but there was a food truck there. Our friends ordered pizza from a place nearby. During the night I tried two ciders: Sky and Dry, and a watermelon. My husband had a banana cider that he enjoyed. My favorite was the Sky and Dry, as it was refreshing without being sweet. Trivia was fun, and happens every Tuesday. Our friends reserve a table for their team each week. It was really hot that day, and it's probably not the most comfortable place to be in the heat, as tables are set out on the lawn with limited shade. But, after the sun set, it became quite pleasant with a breeze. We will probably be back, as we received tokens for free ciders as a part of one of the winning teams. The one thing that was a bit challenging for dog owners, and there were many there, is that there were no trash cans around the entire business park. The one outdoor trash can I saw at Newtopia had a sign that said "no dog poop". It is tough having a dog-friendly spot with nowhere to clean up after your best friend. We pulled up to the driveway of the barn and a man was outside. He said they did not open up for another 30 min. I knew we wouldn't make it back over there before they closed back up since we were heading to Julian for the day. After chatting for a couple minutes, he offered to let me purchase some bottles right then, before they opened. He shared seasonal flavors with me and even gave me a tasting of their seasonal green apple - which was SO good! He was very kind to show me where it's all made too.
