Julian is famous for apple pie, apple orchard, cider and honey. I love this store and i always purchase their cider maple and pure honey! Its good quality! Today they were super crowded and it was hard to walk inside the store! The staff as always were so welcoming and friendly and did their best...

Really cool store with TONS of snacks (nuts, candies, etc.), honey, jams, etc. and great cider! I was overwhelmed by the amount of different food items they had on the store. There were so many things that sounded good, but I ended up just getting a bag of plantain chips that were tasty. We did try samples of the boysenberry and cherry ciders and they were sweet and delicious! I don't know that I could drink a full serving of it due to the sweetness though. The store is fairly small, but jam packed with merchandise. Something to note is that they have a $5 minimum for credit cards, and take cash!

I just love stopping into this store. Been coming here since I was a small child and realized their candy sticks were the cheapest in town, so I could purchase myself and share with school friends! lol This store is definitely a staple in this small historical town. It can get really REALLY busy during the holidays, so be ready to be patient and shop the candy and snacks when you are in line. This town was not this busy when I was a kid 30 years ago and the buildings are small and historical landmarks! Their cider is absolutely delicious and I usually grab some chocolates, salty snacks, specialty holiday candy, etc. Weekends and holidays they run out of their classic cider fast! I usually bring a cooler and put my cider and Mom's pie in the car at the beginning of the day!

I am usually not a cider person and don't really drink anything else besides tea and water. My friends encouraged me to try the cider and I am so glad I did because it was SO DELICIOUS! I've never had anything like it. It was also a really cold day, so this hot drink was so perfect. It wasn't too sweet and tasted so fresh and homemade. I would recommend if you like cider because this will blow you away! The store was also really cute inside and super crowded.

Food 5/5. Review is based on the peanut butter pretzel chocolate and dried pineapple chamoy is so good and a must try! I'm not big on apple cider so I didn't get one. Service 4/5. There seems to be just two workers this day that can used some improvement with acknowledging customers. Ambiance 4/5. It was okay. The staff and other customers were more to themselves. Parking can be tricky. Went here on a Monday and the streets were a bit full. It was a bit pricey here especially with their non food merch

I feel betrayed by all the good reviews for the apple cider because this was the worst one I tried in Julian. My friend and I each had a cup of the Boysenberry Apple Cider and both threw it out after a few sips. It tasted like straight Icee syrup. I kept trying to detect any kind of apple flavoring but the artificial ambiguous fruit flavoring was too strong. I was disappointed because I held back from buying a gallon of cider from the Julian Pie Company in hopes that the Julian Cider Mill's version would be better. We ended up going back and waiting another hour at Julian's Pie Company to get cider there. The shop is charming and has a great selection of teas, jams, pickled vegetables, dried goods, and candy. I would've liked to spend more time browsing, but the store was jam-packed with customers and was difficult to move around in. The store had a pop-up table serving apple cider outside with a long line, but the line for cider inside was non-existent. The employees we interacted with were efficient. It was peak apple season when we went, so it was very difficult to find street parking. It's a cute store, but the apple cider was a huge letdown, especially from a place with "Cider Mill" in its name.

Delicious snacks, fresh popcorn, all times of honey and also many types of grains for soups. Great store with all kinds of yummy things to treat yourself and bring some gifts to others (my favorite the miners chocolate rocks, amazing and pretty). Lots of locally made items. It is usually super crowded so not a place to browse taking your time.

Boysenberry Apple Cider Yum! This little cider mill shop has these two running tanks of boysenberry and cherry apple cider. They let you have a sample of both before you buy, which is great because I dont think I normally would have chosen boysenberry, but this was great! Refreshing and sweet and super affordable.

I placed an online order for the first time. The lady on the phone was so friendly and understood my cravings for must have items. Normally, I stop in as I'm driving through Julian, because it's so inviting and warm inside. Anyway, I got the angel food candy. Marshmallow and nuts wrapped in a chocolate robe. Put it in the fridge before eating, btw. The chocolate gets nice and crunchy and the marshmallow filling is just right. My other craving was the sweet crunchy baby corn. It's jarred in a great syrup and has pieces of red pepper and garlic. I just stand at the island in the kitchen with a fork and shovel those babies in. So good. This place is a must stop if you are traveling through Julian, CA.

First time here and loved the cute ambience of the shop! Tons of homemade goods and super friendly customer service. I sampled both the ciders and went with the boysenberry, it has a unique fresh tart flavor that was wonderful.

Awesome home made chocolate. The checkout lady was very helpful and friendly. It had an amazing selection, and an old town feel.

Son is stationed in the navy at Coranado. He has some honey habanero bbq sauce that he says is the best. Where can I purchase it online?

    They don't sell it online.

We were searching for some retro candy for an upcoming event. The warehouse isn't huge, but it is big for a candy store. It is really for buying cases of bulk candy. It is not a cutely displayed vintage candy store, but it also does not claim to be. It was a really good place to get the bulk of the candy we needed for the event. Everything was sold in large amounts. We picked up some items such as jawbreakers, candy cigarettes, Big League Chew, and Now and Laters. I did wish some times came in more of a variety pack and that others came in slightly smaller portions. We did decide to buy some of the items elsewhere because we simply didn't want that much of one flavor of a certain type of candy. I think it is a great place to buy candy in bulk, though I do think the variety could be a bit better. All in all, it was a useful trip for us to prepare for our event.

It is located in Valley Center, so be prepared for your trek. I always go with plenty of snacks, food and water. Be prepared to shell out exorbitant amounts for any purchases. The pumpkin patch is a great place to get fall pictures, but the prices are wild. The rides are about $5 each for a minute or two. The bounce obstacle course was $5 for three times running through. It was unreasonable. The gift shop sold the cheapest temu crappy toys for $20!! Buy you're own toys at Walmart and bring them with you to keep the kids happy. I can buy junk on my own. The nuts and candy and dried fruits are probably the only thing I am ok with buying.
