Jose showed up…read morewhen he said he would; he listened to what I wanted; took pictures of my rudimentary drawing "wish list" , got an estimate to me in a timely manner and was able to work with me around the schedule of the pool contractor who was finishing up their job. Jose, who is always friendly and polite, started the job when he said he would, kept me informed as to what was going to happen and when and his crew (whether it was five guys doing the initial major clean up--including trimming back ivy, cutting back trees, digging up old artificial turf, and removing lots of debris or one guy hauling dirt to the dumpster to level the yard) were hard-working, respectful of the space (they didn't leave food wrappers or water bottles all over the place), friendly and really good at what they did. I wanted something simple, just sod in one area, DG in several others, and some simple perennials that will fill in over time. He installed a new water line, a new sprinkler system for the sod as well as a drip line system for the new beds, and had an electrician come out to set up the automated sprinkler controls. He finished the job in a couple weeks with variable sized crews on different days to handle the different sized jobs. They created a really solid foundation to add on to in the future, and I couldn't be happier. Jose never tried to up-sell anything, nor did he want some outrageous fee to come out and "design a 3d rendering" ... he heard me when I told him what I wanted. I will definitely go back to Art House again when it's time to add a few things to the backyard and do my front yard in a couple months.

After about over a year seeing my lawn that has alot of weeds in it and most likely will have to be all replaced by the time the weeds are killed and hopefully can put new seeds in or have to put new sod in in at least half of the front yard which is a good size. And there's just not weeds in the grass but in my planters I should post pictures so you can see for yourselves. I'm very upset with the company because I've let them know many times and getting a late response back every time and to end up like this. I had to hire a new company to come in and try to fix with this company did not take care of. I let him know that it's not just a matter of cutting and edging grass but it's maintaining the grass. It's a son and father team but I don't think they are on the same page the sun's not letting the father know what needs to be done or the father is just not listening what needs to be done to have good long customers

We continue to use them yearly for tree maintenance, but this year we had them do some landscaping and we couldn't be happier with how our backyard turned out. There were a few moving components here. They replaced our lawn, installed decomposed granite, redid our sprinkler system, trimmed our trees, and helped us rethink how we were using the whole backyard. The difference is so wonderful for us. We hadn't been using the yard much before, but not we actually want to spend a lot of time in it. One great thing is that they would do whatever we asked but were honest also and helped us plan with great suggestions. Gonzalo gave us good advice told us when some of our ideas probably weren't the best approach. The honesty was valuable and saved us some money. They also handled things wonderfully after the work was done. We had some issues with areas of the new grass and Gonzalo came back out, looked at what was happening and helped us to identify the cause. The job wasn't done just because we had paid for it. So professional! The crew was great, the communication were good, and the end result changed our yard for the better. We spend more time in the backyard now, and that is the most important thing I can say. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone considering landscaping, irrigation, tree work, or a yard project. They did a wonderful job for us. The pricing was reasonable and certainly at or below market.

The leaves and debris was getting to be too much and so we wanted to get a significant trim. His crew rolled up and got to work immediately. They were incredibly efficient, respectful, and thorough. Every hour or so I would go to check on them and he would ask if I needed more off of each section, and he gave me plenty of commentary and advice on which parts to trim and which to leave (hehe) as is. They were in and out in a few hours and aside from some modest saw dust and a couple of little twigs, you would not know they were here!
