Great experience.. I just had to get a haircut and my kids had soccer practice nearby at LA Galaxy. I decided to venture there on a weekday without an appointment. The barber shop was located in a remote shopping mall that i probably passed by a thousand times. I came in and was seated immediately in a chair. I never caught the name of my stylist but she was very friendly. I know she wasn't Lynn who was cutting hair next to me. It was filled with sports memorability especially hockey jersey's. In a city this large, it's very hard to find a place with community feel. This feels very much like a community barbershop. I've been coming here since 2015 with my sons. My youngest was only a year old when he started. Lynn treats everybody like family, but she doesn't stand for any sketchiness in her shop. A true old school barber. During the government shutdown in 2019, Lynn offered to cut our hair for free until I started getting a paycheck again. Who does that these days? Please go and support this shop. Someone without experience cut my hair and did an average job, the apron she putted on me smells bad and the lack of customer service is proofed by the hairstylist that sits next to the door s screaming at me just because I asked a receipt. I love this place. About 2 years ago I brought my 2 year old son in for his first real hair cut, he had to sit my lap the whole time and screamed, cried and struggled every minute. It was so embarrassing but Sergio got it done and worked so well with him even though he definitely broke a sweat in the process. The next time we came in I expected them to either not remember us or not be happy that we were back, but they remembered us and welcomed us warmly. My husband and both my young sons have been having Sergio and occasionally Lynn cut their hair ever since. We recently let our boys hair grow out for over a year and when we decided to finally cut it Lynn did a great job with my son's huge mess of curls.
