Great customer service has aloof of patience when cutting my sons hair loves how it always turns out!!

I live within walking distance of this barber shop and made an appointment to try them out. Jeremy is definitely a rarity as he was listening to what I was saying and then offering suggestions for my style as you know...getting older haha. I typically have always done the same cut for decades and I feel this style especially on the top showcases the cut well and goes with the shape of my head. Cheers to no more buzz cut bald gaps ha! I know people are used to getting the same cut all the time and I fall into that category. With Jeremy and his knowledge I was able to put my trust into this skills and definitely would be returning. Unfortunately, there's not a lot good I can say about this place. I called and made an appointment. They didn't know who I made the appointment with, I come in and ask for three things specifically one not to cut the bottom back part of my hair on my head. I asked them to keep all the hair from the top in the back, the same length, and I asked for the sides to be cut short with a fade. Tell me why I had to ask this guy four times why he was cutting the back lower part of my hair short, and why I had to ask him to cut the top in the back three times separately in order for him to understand what length of hair I wanted. The other barber in the barbershop was trying to explain to him what I was asking and said don't do it just don't cut it, however, he cut my hair and it looks awful. He then tried to avoid a confrontation by saying no charge. I kept trying to find someone I knew to see if this was a prank TV show, however, the other barber just stood there and looked and walked away. read more

As soon as I walked in I had a bad feeling and should've listened to my gut. There were no other customers, only 1 "barber", and there was hair everywhere. The guy talked the whole time, which alot of barbers do but they are usually actually cutting your hair. This dude stopped the act out every sentence like he was an aspiring Shakespeare actor. Well, it was definitely a tragedy. After an hour, my poor hair was uneven, uncut in some spots, and the lines looked like a 3yr old with a crayon. I should've asked him to pay me so I could get a real haircut but just wanted to get the hell away from this moron before I had to hear another story. My husband found his new go to barber here in South Bay! Jeremy was detail oriented, and really took his time to perfect the haircut and beard trim. Overall extremely happy with everything. Highly recommend Jeremy for your new look! The fade in back looks great! And he knew his way around curly hair, so he really took his time to make sure everything was faded well and the right length with my husbands unruly hair. Henry is a master barber, it does not matter who you are...Henry will give you a better Hair Cut than you have ever had and I am not exaggerating. Brought my 87 year old dad for a hair cut. He's been bedridden after breaking his hip and this was his first outing. The shop is located on a cute block of shops in Redondo Beach and has a fun Steampunk retro kind of feel. Josepi offered us drinks and proceeded to cut dads hair in a Classic style. Since my first cut, I've seen Johnny pretty much every week He knows what I like, what suits my head/face shape and listens to my concerns which I appreciate as a customer. Didn't have time to fight the traffic to Santa Monica for my regular guy and was driving by here so thought I'd take a chance. Pleasantly surprised. Waited for about 5 mins and the owner waved me to his chair. Solid cut-- he's old school and knows what he's doing. Definitely feels about 10% more stylish than my usual cut. Wlad is my dude! I started going here in July with the recommendation of my coworker and I have been getting a haircut every 3 weeks since then. Wlad is very detailed with his fades and spends extra time making sure the fade is precise and really does fade out to your skin and your head up top. Wlad listens to what you want in a haircut and will make recommendations on hair style based on your head shape. Also, at the end of the cut, he puts a hot towel over you and then will do a razor shave to get rid excess hair on your neck and also to line you up. It's best to call in advance for a haircut or reserve at least 4 hours in advance on the yelp app. Parking is easy to find on the street, free booze and water while you wait and the price for a cut is very reasonable as well. Went in today, kid who cut my hair spent more time talking and asking stupid questions, trying to convince me he knew his ass from his elbow and then making excuses and f**k me, what a mess he made. Unless the owner or one of the staff that worked there pre covid times (who I have to say always gave me a great cut in the past) is cutting your hair, avoid it.
