Chateau did the design, cabinets, backsplash, wall tile, countertops, helped with appliances, and lighting. First off - wow, it's been over a year later and we all still love our kitchen. Check out our before and afters! We did shop around with other companies to find who we wanted to work with for this remodel. When we met Holly and saw the cabinet options Chateau had to offer, it was a certain decision. Holly Blevins is an amazing designer who is fun to work with. The kitchen was my wife's project. She and Holly worked so well together syncing up on design ideas. Holly kept our decisions in-budget and on-time. She is simply amazing! When it came to our general contractor working with the construction crew at Chateau, our GC said they were very good to work with. From my perspective, they worked as a united team. It was easy to work with Chateau. They sell excellent products with many choices to fit any person's taste. They came to our house in the beginning, took measurements, talked to us about the process. We agreed upon the cost. Got things ordered and started the project. There was great communication throughout the project. We always felt that Chateau had our back and that our project was important to them. They cared that we would get the kitchen we wanted and that it was designed in a way that we would continue to enjoy it. There is an extra service you can elect to pay for related to design. We did pay for this. It allows the designer to keep helping throughout the project. Some people may not want this and if that is you, you can elect not to have it. My suggestion is to get it. Once the project started and we needed to make decisions, Holly was with us every step of the way helping with the decisions when we needed her. The service was highly valuable. More than once my wife and I said that we were so glad we had the extra design service. After a year, the kitchen is still great. We have used Pro Sanding twice. The first time they refinished our back room and kitchen. In the…read morekitchen they had to feather in new wood to match the old wood where we had removed a peninsula and the work was beautiful. This past week we had them come in to remove tile from the foyer and replace it with wood and refinish the bamboo flooring we found when removed the vinyl flooring. Carl gave us a fair quote. The new wood arrived and was then Caesar showed up to do the floors. Under the tile he found beautiful parquet flooring that he was able to refinish. Carl requoted us and we oil back the ordered wood without issue. The flooring turned out fantastic. If I had more flooring to refinish I would definitely call Carl again.

Asked about our wants needs and desires. She gave us SO MANY unique ideas that were practical and functional. She prevented us from making mistakes and offered great suggestions for what we were trying to accomplish. Catherine and Alex managed the design, measuring and installation coordination. Installation was a dream. We reviewed the designs countless times to make sure everything was designed to perfection. The installation team paid so much attention to every little detail. Alex was here the day the cabinets arrived and installation started, and Catherine came the next day to check the progress.Every cabinet is perfectly level, and every little nailhead was filled in with perfect color match. I do a lot of cooking and canning and this kitchen is my dream come true. It is absolutely beautiful and completely functional. I have a place for everything. The price was very very fair considering it's a 23.5 foot wide kitchen with one wall of cabinet cabinets, a 15' x 4' deep island, a beverage center that is 4' x 18", a balustrade that is 8 foot wide designed by an artist, all the wood trim for the windows and door in the entire Great Room, and a bathroom vanity and linen closet door. However, The office staff and scheduler spread a 4 day job out over a month always claiming weather concern. We had 1/4 inch rain the first 2 weeks of the project and over the month it was the 16th driest on record. Inquiries to the staff about when to come out next were treated with either nonresponse, sarcasm or impatience. Because of the need to move barbecue,furniture and planters into the grass and NOT water (from concern of getting the nearby concrete wet), the lawn and planters were basically destroyed. We scheduled the job in April for August to be sure to start on time, and although starting on time, they were in no hurry to complete. When trying to pin down next time they would come out, the office staff were either uncaring, incompetent or dishonest. In fact, we didn't know they would send a minimal team and take more than a single day until just before they arrived. It wasn't until after the third day (weeks later) that we knew a fourth day would be required. If you want quality polyurea coating in the Indy area, I suggest, Hello Garage 463-946-5202 TH Concrete 317 480-1017 Premier Garage 317 978-9528 I really thought I was getting a conscientious family business when signing the contract, and it turned out to be an absent owner experience.

Jessica did a rendering based on what we said we wanted, but then she came to the house to make sure everything looked good. Her customer service was excellent, and I loved how much she listened and suggested for us. We ended up not going for the main bedroom closet, but when I had the idea of redoing our pantry, we reached back out to Hoosier Closets/Jessica. We had her create a few different options for us, and she did come over to finalize our ideas in their platform (which is awesome, by the way - amazing 3D viewing and they can make changes on the fly quickly). We had another company come out to do our due diligence. Their price was a bit cheaper, but the options were less. They also drew all of the renderings on a piece of graph paper (which I appreciate), but that made it very difficult to visualize. After confirming with Hoosier Closets we wanted to move forward with them, we were on their schedule in about 2 weeks. It took them less than 3 hours to remove the shelving and install everything. They did explain to us about having to repaint the holes they filled in from the shelving, but we didn't expect to see as many as we did...which was just a "miss" on our part. You can see the before and after pictures with this review! If we decide to do the main bedroom closet, we will 100% go with Inspired Closets.
