Update to my review:…read more First apologies for getting names mixed up, I'm so bad with Names. I believe Xanthia did my consult and the subcision review while Annie did my Micro-needling. I've been reading through some of the other reviews here, and I noticed a few people had a very different reaction than I did, especially around Xanthia being direct or to the point. I understand that everyone has different expectations when it comes to bedside manner, customer service, and how much explanation they want before making a decision. That's fair. But I also think it's important to separate someone being direct from someone being dishonest or trying to scam you. My experience has been the opposite. Yes, this is a smaller shop. But that does not take away from the quality of care they provide. If anything, I appreciate that they are more straightforward. Could something be explained for 20 minutes instead of 10 seconds? Sure. Some people may prefer that. But personally, I would rather have someone tell me directly what they see, what they recommend, and whether I want to move forward. In this industry, there is a lot of fluff. There are a lot of places that make everything sound amazing, sell you packages, push products, and promise results that do not always show up. None of that matters to me if the results are not there. I will take directness and real results over polished sales talk any day. At no point have I ever felt pushed into doing something I did not need. I never felt like they were trying to squeeze more money out of me. In fact, one of the things I appreciate most is that they seem much more focused on what actually makes sense for my skin than on trying to sell me everything possible, even when I inquired about a service that was more expensive. My results speak for themselves. I've had two subcision sessions and two microneedling session, and I've already seen real improvement. After years of trying Fraxel, microneedling, and other treatments elsewhere, that matters to me. So I understand that not everyone may like a no-nonsense style. But for me, I value honesty, skill, and results. And based on my own experience, OC Spa has delivered exactly that.

Absolutely a terrible experience! Beware of getting services through this business! I made the mistake of finding their groupon offer and thinking this is too good to be true. Spoiler alert: IT IS NOT GOOD SERVICE, NOT GOOD QUALITY. The "nurse" at this location is obviously not skilled. When I saw the groupon I called them to ask a few questions and my first red flag should have been when they told me to just come in and pay them directly instead of through groupon. Shady. Oh and at the end of the service when they caught me off guard and asked me if I would add a tip. That was pretty uncomfortable. But, we will get back to that. I ended up coming in that day. I've never had any fillers, but I have tons of friends who have so I was very certain on what I wanted and what I did not want. I met two girls at the shop, one at the front desk and the other who administered the "juvederm". They were both very friendly. Which made this really hard. I paid them directly $590 for 2 syringes of juvederm 1cc each. She suggested I use both that day. So I did. It was an extremely painful experience, but being my first time I thought this is probably just normal. (Found out later that none of my friends felt that with their fillers) And the service only lasted about 10 minutes. So I was a little dazed by the pain and quickness of the service. I gave them my card, was awkwardly confronted by them to add a tip to the service, I did, and I left. They told me to wait 4-6 weeks to set the true results and i waited very patiently. That first week i noticed something that looked like clogged pores or white heads next to my mouth where they used their needle. And i could feel little ball's under my skin where the product was. Then when the swelling started to go away i noticed the right side of my upper lip looked completely deflated compared to the opposite side. Long story short the service was not done properly. There was no skill involved. Just a sloppy procedure. With no consideration of what my results would be. This was done in mid November. By the first week of January I knew something was wrong. I went to two other doctors for consultations who said it is impossible that they used two syringes of product on me. And confirmed the sloppy, careless technique the girl used. I tried reaching out to this office numerous times and could never get a hold of them. I started emailing them from the email address they have on their website and the emails kept getting sent back saying that is not a valid address. So I finally contacted my bank to dispute the charges. They reversed the charge while they investigated. And weeks later I was notified that modern medical's financial institution is not allowing the dispute to be processed. So my bank called MM directly and finally got me in touch with someone. I was so relieved that we could finally fix this. But, sadly that's not what happened. The girls were now rude and condescending. They admit in their text to me that the results are not good, but accuse me of getting the service somewhere else after them. Really?! Basically do not do business with this office. Now I've had to pay an attorney a retainer to start filing claims against MM and I have to pay double what I paid MM to go to a skilled doctor to correct the botched service they gave me. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. ugh : ( I will also be uploading the pictures of service, the texts from the office, the screen shots of the returned emails and the letters from the doctors I consulted with, agreeing this service was not done properly. Save yourself the time, drama and money... go somewhere else. read more

I went to Medern Medical for my signature IV. The environment is high professional and the nurses besides being experts in medical aesthetics they also have ICU and ED training. This is important for me as I don't value only the final result and the experience, I also value safety. I felt I was in good hands and today I feel full of energy. The new doctor changed everything and this is no longer the place I trusted and loved! Got rid of the crew- big mistake. I used to get tons of texts with amazing deals and now I get texts claiming they have specials but the prices are a joke. Don't advertise a special or deal if you're going to nickel and dime your clientele. read more

I came unsure about all the varieties of neurotoxins available to treat wrinkles. Dr. Lynda was very thorough and informative going through the options of neurotoxin brands available such as botox, juvaderm, dysport, etc. Dr. Lynda's bedside manners are great. She listened to my concerns and was very polite and not pushy. She had recommended I do 20 units of botox for my forehead, brows, angry face, and crows feet. She was modest in her recommendation based on the fact that it was my first time and I do not have deep lines. I expressed my concerns with doing too much at once in case I did not like the results. She ended up recommending 12 units for those regions. Dr. Lynda mentioned my results will not be as profound and it will not last as long. Which I was completely okay with more natural results. I really respect that Dr. Lynda made me feel heard as a patient, a lot of other doctors I have met in the past cab be a bit too assertive and dismissive. My results turned out great! I started to notice movement on my forehead minimizing after 4 days. I saw full results at 10 days. Since I got a minimal amount of dysport. I was still able to make expressions on my forehead and eyes but it does not move when I have small expressions. It was definitely natural looking and my fine lines were completely gone. For my next appointment I will go with Dr. Lynda's recommendation. Dr. Lynda's front desk staff were very friendly and the office is very clean. There's parking in front od the building and very accessible off the 405.
