It's easiest to follow this shops menu and hours by following them on Instagram as they don't have a traditional website now. They seem to be popular from social media and word of mouth. Location: you go up the windy road towards the CSUCI campus and this home shop is located towards the top by the housing complex's. DM or text to place your order. Open 7-days a week, 8am to 6pm or as documented on her Instagram. The location is shared with you once you've confirmed your order and paid online. I understand why the address isn't given in advance because you can only order online first, this isn't a brick and mortar shop where you show up and place an order. Payments are virtual (Apple Pay etc). There isn't client/person interaction, your drinks are left for you to pickup and it was a seamless transaction. Maybe the first time takes a little getting used to but once you figure it out it's pretty easy. Here's what I got: ICED PUMPKIN CHAI: The perfect cozy fall sweater weather drink. The pumpkin is pronounced and this drink it's perfectly sweet. The chai is flavorful without being too much. Loved the cream topper, it's a classic fall drink done right. ICED BEETLEJUICE LIMEADE: For the non-coffee drinker or little ones - this tart and fun limeade hit the spot. The drink couldn't be cuter with the gummy worms and candies on top. Such a fun drink! I love supporting local small businesses and I'd rather put my money towards an independent Local business woman making stellar coffee drinks then paying more money to go to a chain with long lines and no unique drink drinks. I felt like the prices were very reasonable, the large drinks seem to run about $7 give or take, but it depends what you get. Definitely will be coming back!

Also, I've updated my review to reflect their expanded menu. Fresh Curry Chefs is a fantastic, although very small, Indian food restaurant next to Tony's Pizza and across the street from the Amtrak/Metrolink station in Camarillo. They have an excellent selection of Indian food and everything I've had has been absolutely delicious. For dinner, I especially like the thalis that include rice, naan, soup, a vegetable dish, and yogurt with the main entree. They also have excellent Indian drinks, desserts, and sides. And the staff is very helpful and friendly. So, highly recommended!

It's a beautiful little restaurant with some beautiful Indian souvenirs available for purchase. The service is the best that I've ever had. The owner was warm and friendly; she talked to us as if we were her nephews. She patiently explained the menu and the different types of curries they offer. I opted for the lamb curry and my buddy had the butter chicken. I tried to go for maximum spice level but was advised against it so I went for 4 out of 5 spice level. It was spicy but 5 would've suited me more. The garlic naan bread is the best I have ever had. They also offer an interesting beer selection. I will definitely be coming back.

There are no fancy contracts, no drama, and no surprises--just a handshake, a date, and a headcount. I tell Wayne when we're eating and how many mouths we need to feed, and he shows up on time, fully prepared, and ready to deliver. That kind of reliability is rare, and it means everything when you're feeding a large group. The food is consistently excellent, the service is smooth, and the whole operation reflects pride, experience, and family values. You can tell this is a family-owned business that genuinely cares about doing things right. When you find people you can trust completely, you stick with them--and that's exactly why we'll continue to use It's in the Sauce for future reunions. Highly recommended without hesitation.

We probably wouldn't have dropped by it if someone hadn't told us about it. The staff was kind, friendly, and gave suggestions when we asked questions about the various meat options. The cash register is right straight in as you walk in. There are communal benches outside and a few high top tables inside, but the restaurant seemed to get a lot of pick up orders. Food came out within 5 minutes on a Saturday at lunch, which I was weary about since it's BBQ - but everything ended up still being hot and juicy. We ended up going with the 3-meat plate for about $30 total. It was enough for 2 people (or 1 really hungry person!). We ordered the brisket, burnt ends, and hot links which came with garlic bread and two sides of our choice - the star of the show was for sure the burnt ends, which were juicy and deeply flavorful. The brisket was moist, which I feel like is hard to find, but I do wish it had more flavor. The hot links were also good but didn't have much nuance either. Next time, we'll definitely save room to try some dessert, which was only $5! If you're in the area, definitely check this place out!

We stopped at Camarillo Outlets to try and kill time since our Air B&B is not ready until late afternoon. I looked to see if there are any Filipino food spots in the area and I found Lola Betty's. We ordered the short rib plate and the Tasilog plate and lumpia Shanghai- washed it down with Calamansi juice. Everything was delicious, 10/10. The owner came out to check on us and she was so kind, hospitable and shared some history with us on how Lola Betty's came to be. From food truck to walk up, she said that some people really preferred or hoped for a sit down restaurant. I don't have a preference. I only love the soul and passion that is poured into one's food. Love, soul and passion can be found here. The owner says, "I just really wanted a place where you can really be attentive and really take the time to cook the food the way it should be made". I can tell that she loves what she does and she thanked us for trying their food. I wanted to thank HER for feeding us! If I forgot to thank her, here it is. This place is worth a stop if you're smart.

The pricing is fair, portions are generous, and overall the food was good. As a fellow Filipino, I would love to see a little more variety on the menu since it currently focuses on the basics. From a business standpoint, especially considering the location and customer base, I understand keeping things simple. The only dish I wasn't a huge fan of was the Tapsilog, as the meat was a bit salty for my taste. The Longsilog was much better, and I loved that they included a small puto (rice cake) with the meal. Overall, a great experience and worth a visit.

From borscht soup and varenyky to stuffed cabbage rolls (and yes, I've tried nearly everything on her menu), every dish is fresh, flavorful, and made with so much love.
