I ate at Peter's food truck. One thing that impressed me is that his entire crew was at the location at 6:30 am...imagine what time they were working, prepping, organizing, and everything else to arrive on time to put up tarps, put out tables and chairs, set up the condiment tables, etc. that's a lot of work!! Hard work. I ordered a chicken burrito with rice, refried beans, cheese, and sour cream burrito with pico de gallo inside. It was very good. Only suggestion would be softer more supple tortillas and more cheese (hard to source). The green salsa was very good, the habanero salsa was in the top 5 I've had. I had a coffee and it would have been nice if they had real half n half or the landolake creamers. The owner is energetic and motivated to keep all his customers happy. Prices are very reasonable. The place was spotless and he kindly reminded his staff to remain on top of cleaning the tables...he doesn't want his guests cleaning their own tables. I think next time I will try the pozole soup because I love pozole...and so many people were eating the soups. He's been coming to the Ventura college flea market for 35 years . How could I not patronize this OG?! For a food truck, they roll out the red carpet for everyone! He does Mexican food right and his ethnicity is different. Many Hispanics as loyal customers there while other trucks didn't have many customers. There are all American dishes and sides you can order if you want some fresh cut fruit or yogurt or a sandwich. Their menu is extensive and not a single person looked unhappy with their orders and the food looked good. My friend ordered a breakfast burrito and loved it. I'll be back again. For the longest time since starting my first semster, these guys have produced delicious meals at VC for many students and the faculty with many leaving sastifiee with hardly a complaint or any other reaction other then a thank you. Never before or since, have i had service that takes time to get what you want and is not eager to throw you out and rather cares about the sastifaction of the customer. However, you might have a different experience and i only say that this is one of those who get things right most of the time. read more

We brought a high school football team up to play Camarillo from South Orange County. Peter and his crew made togo dinners for all our players and coaches to eat on the bus ride home. Peter is amazing and his food choices are great! I go to him weekly at the Ventura College Campus. He is usually parked in front of the book store. He will custom make things for you if you have a food preference, allergy or special diet. I love this truck and the prices are great! Especially yummy are the burgers and fries, but also I really love the breakfast burritos. Yum! Make sure you get extra hot sauce oh my, because the hot sauce with the burrito is great. L&T Catering is a godsend to the Moorpark College campus. The college currently is without a cafeteria, but this food truck more than makes up the difference. They have amazing Chicken Curry, Burgers & Fries, Burritos, Tortas, and more! In terms of drinks, this food truck has the best Horchata I've had at any restaurant. Everything new I try there is just as amazing as the last dish. The windows of the truck are a portal to a three star Michelin restaurant. I just can't believe the variety of dishes they can make and every single one has been great. Peter and his team take the time to get to know the students names and are compassionate and friendly. Simple. I ordered a rice and bean burrito from this food truck parked on OC campus for $4.50. Okay on size. I was enjoying it until the rice almost cracked my teeth. The rice was so under cooked that I could not continue to eat it. I wrapped it up and put it away in my back pack. Since class was starting, I couldn't run back to the food truck to tell the guy about the under cooked rice. I am hoping they are there after class. Update: I brought the burrito back to the food truck guy to let him know that his rice was undercooked (not to mention cheap quality) All he said was thank you. No customer service what so ever. So I live in T.O. and we had just finished watching our game film.(football) So we had been watching for like 2 hours and half of us were hungry. And outa the now where, his food truck appears. It was like a blessing from the Lord himself. So my fat ahh walked up their hungry as hell and began looking. You know, all my 15 years I've been on this earth, it's pretty rare to see they have Jarritos and it was amazing. So I ordered the Carne Asada fries with everything except Jalapeños(I regret not ordering it with it) and once I ate it, oh my lawwrd it was the best thing I've ever had! If you also add the seasoning that just makes it better! I also tried the chili cheese fries from a friend and those are e best fries I've ever had. So I don't usually call it L&T catering truck I call it Peter's Truck because it's always on campus (vc). I eat at Peter's Truck about 3 sometimes 4 times a week because they make the best food compared to the other food trucks on campus. I have so far had the burrito, breakfast burrito, hamburgers, carne asada fries, nachos, breakfast sandwiches, sandwiches and recently the chicken teriyaki plate. Let me tell you that you will not be disappointed for the amount of food you get. He also has a wide selection of other snacks like yogurts, fruit cups and chips. He has a huge selection of sodas, juices and energy drinks. Peter is a cool guy and super nice, he will remember your name even if you hardly go and that's always a plus. We needed a food truck on short notice, and Peter came through big time! Our organization had an event with over 500 people but no food planned. When we realized this the day before the event, I called multiple catering companies looking for food service. One after the other could not do it on such short notice. Finally, I found L&T's Yelp listing and gave a call. Peter answered and responded that he could provide a truck. I was happy that he would help us, but I had no idea how excellent his service was going to be. The next morning, he showed up earlier than planned and was ready to go in a pinch. The truck was stocked with hot coffee and numerous breakfast items. They were busy with a line of customers from before 8:00 am to after 2:00 pm and kept a good variety of menu items all day with a support vehicle showing up regularly to resupply. We were very pleased with the food and the service. They accepted cash or credit cards, and the wait for orders was generally pretty short. Throughout the day, many people congratulated me for finding L&T Catering, especially on short notice. We are glad to have them back for all of our future events, and Peter was very appreciative of the opportunity. read more

Peter is the nicest person. This is the best truck to ever come to Moorpark College. Good variety, reasonably priced, and friendly. More vegetarian/vegan options than any other truck that's come to campus. Peter remembers everyone and is so nice. The wait times for your order seem pretty fast so far. All the other food trucks that come to campus are priced far too high, this truck understands that they are serving mostly students are priced accordingly.
