Well, every year when I come south I love to take my friend to lunch here. I always have loved it! So we made our plan and off we went! It was terrible! Our deluxe salads were missing the bacon, cheese, and dressing---- our pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms was so over dossed with basil that we couldn't eat it! What happened to my fav place??? This is your typical pizza-pasta causal chain dining experience. My favorite is the club egg rolls. They were delicious, and seem to always be when we go to CPK. The service was great, we had no trouble getting refills before we needed them. We took our niece their for her birthday, she enjoyed the food and was able to take plenty of pizza back to her dorm room. read more

This was my favorite, local, go to place for lunch 2-3 times a week but they recently reduced the portions and tried to disguise it by changing the plates from flat to round....not fooling anyone. It seems they raised the prices over the past year too so I'm getting less food and paying more and the fact they tried to camouflage it by changing plates is insulting to my intelligence.The salads used to be very filling, but now I left hungry and paid $15 for a salad....I'm going to Panera! read more

Overpriced. The food is ok, but the service is good. I don't recommend coming here. A basic dinner of (3) salads and (2) drinks costed $70 dollars. There are way better places to spend that much on dinner. read more

We really liked the pizza here. Crust is crispy and toppings good. It was a little pricey, but not more than expected. My drink off the menu was $9 (guess that's why the price wasn't listed). Definately not worth it for one drink. read more

This was a go-to place for us last season, easy and good for a casual dinner, always nice service. We returned this week. Salads were again very good and service was pleasant. We have been to California Pizza Kitchen's twice that I remember. Not impressed with either location. I guess it is just not my wife and my type of pizza. We will not return. There was nothing really wrong with our food just nothing really pleasing (to us). We feel we could go elsewhere and get something we like better for less money. read more

Great food and amazing staff. Their one manager Alfred is highly rude to his staff though. I worked there and had amazing experiences overall, but found working beneath him difficult due to the constant berating and blaming of servers for all issues and trying to take over everything that's happening. It was the best job I ever had, but one night I sadly just couldn't take the constant disrespect to me and other staff after I'd been working there for a year and a half. I miss the job terribly. Everyone was phenomenal and the food is amazing. I really pray they hire a different manager to cover Al because he has caused many great servers to quit and it just breaks my heart because I would have never wanted to quit if it weren't for him always yelling and blaming us for every issue when he was the one flustered trying to control everything. But it is impossible to work for someone who is only ever telling you how bad you are and never once any compliments. Switch him, you got yourself the perfect restaurant and staff genuinely. read more

After church yesterday morning our family decided to try Old Fogies Cafe for breakfast. A pleasant woman asked us to sit where ever we like. Shortly after we seated and pursuing the menu a man called out from behind the counter "no pets allowed". We explained the dog was a service dog. He replied he didn't care and we had to leave. I stayed calm and informed him that is illegal. His reply was "read up on it". Our 23 year old daughter suffered a traumatic brain injury 7 years ago for which she requires the aid of the dog. Our family was Humiliated to tears. We dined at California Pizza Kitchen where the manager Steve and our server Jason treated our daughter with respect. read more

This is not my first time here. While the food is amazing and full of flavor, what I seen on my visit yesterday was disturbing. I'm not sure if we will return...at least not anytime soon. While wrapping things up, there were roaches(multiple) on the booth seating where I was sitting. They kept coming onto the booth and then climbing where the uplighting is against the wall. When I walked up to the server and told her, she didn't seem surprised. I refused to sit back down. The mgr came to me, and mentioned "I'll make sure we have pest control come out asap." My response was "it makes me wonder what I may have eaten in my food." Not offered any incentive for the situation (discount or coupons for a next purchase - which I probably wouldn't have accepted) it would have been the gesture that meant more. Showing me that they were sincerely sorry, he just stated "I can assure you my kitchen is spotless, but I can assure you that I will contact for pest control to come and treat." This is completely unacceptable....very unfortunate for them. read more

Nothing special, food was okay, we had the spinach artichoke pizza with chicken. Needed more flavor. The chips that came with the spinach artichoke appetizer were stale and lacking any flavor. I didn't even taste any salt on them. The food passable, the service abysmal. Sat for 10 minutes before someone came to get our drink order. Restaurants need to understand there is a lot of competition out there and if you can't treat your customers right you will lose business. I can occasionally overlook a meal that isn't just so but when it comes to service it should be top notch. read more

Epic fail. I have been to cpks many times. this one is by far not up to par. We arrive and were seated at a table that had obviously not been cleaned. my arm stuck to the surface. It took forever to get a waitress, she finally took our drink order after 15cminute, 15 minutes later they arrived without my beer (bartender was still working on it) our appetizers never came out until I talked with the manager. Salad was tiny and had 1 piece of asparagus for 5.99 . Granddaughter's pasta was brought out raw, mother-in-law s pasta came out raw 2x. I actually asked the manager if they were doing this on purpose. We have been here before, never great service, but this was awful. Wouldn't waste your time, or money for that matter. read more

This is the worse CPK and sad to say it does not represent the "corporate image" well. We've eaten here several times over the past year and it's hit or miss with good service and with receiving your order as you ordered it. There is a daytime female floor manager who has a very negative attitude and when she is working the staff seems to fall in place with her. Sad. When we have had good experiences someone else has been on. This establishment would benefit greatly using "secret shoppers" to provide feedback back to the owner to weed out the staff who are sabotaging the experience and quality you expect from CPK. There are other pizza restaurants in Coconut Point and the dining experience is much better than it is here. read more

I definitely had higher expectations of this place-as most restaurants at Coconut Point Mall are very good. They were way over priced- we ordered take-out- got two pizzas and an order of the Carnitas taco meal. We spent about $40- which would have been fine if the food blew me away. But the pizzas were tiny- 10" personal pizzas- we didn't order the thin crust- thank goodness- because the regular crust was already way too thin. My daughter and I usually love the crust- this was not good at all. The toppings were very skimpy- we ordered 1 cheese- and there was hardly any cheese on there. In addition to that- it wasn't even good quality cheese- it was greasy and didn't melt consistently. The other pizza we ordered was sausage, pepperoni and mushroom. Also, not very good. The carnitas tacos were supposed to be slow roasted pork- the pork was bite sized crispy pieces of what tasted like mystery meat. And there was no cilantro, although they were supposed to have it on top. It was two tacos, served with chips and salsa- the chips tasted stale. I have to say I was not at all impressed. The reason I'm giving two stars instead of one is because the service. It was fast, friendly and efficient. Unfortunately that's not enough to cover the food quality and the price. I will not be going back. If you want pizza- Tony Saccos is in the mall as well, and their pizza is delicious. read more

Pizza isn't what it's billed as. "Fresh mozzarella" in Margherita pizza doesn't exist. It's a "three cheese blend". It arrived looking like a normal cheese pizza that could be found at any pizza chain. Appetizer was nothing special, considering the price. After double checking the menu to clarify the fresh mozzarella pizza, I spoke with the manager who did confirm that the cheese on the pizza was fresh mozzarella. All in all, not a place to go if you know what real pizza is. read more

Food is good, but if your going to pick up, give yourself twice the amount of time they say it will be. We went to pick up food as place on line. Arrived to pick up order, waited for one item, waited, waited. The young lady doing take out was overwhelmed, but no manager approached to help her. Left her to fend for herself. We asked to talk to the manager, took a while for him to respond to us. Told us the orders were coming in as ordered. When I told him that our order was ready except for one item. He left, never came back, and the young lady was again left to fend for herself. The manager never did come back to apologize, explain, etc. I know it is the beginning of season, but it is not a secret that it is here. Avoid during season unless you have a few hours to wait. read more

Atmosphere is nice. Two visits in one week. Ordered gluten free pizza the first time.the crust was good. It really fell short in how skimpy the cheese and sausage were on the pizza. I order without the pepperoni and think I had 3 tiny pieces of sausage in 1/2 pizza. The second visit ordered 1/2 Cobb salad and found the same problem very little chicken, perhaps a half oz. my friends noticed the same problem with the salads they ordered. There was no bread offered with the salads, for the price, a very poor value. read more
