Such a lovely little surprise! We originally had plans to meet somewhere else for our book club…read morelunch, but ended up here and I'm so glad we did. The restaurant has a somewhat elegant and beautiful atmosphere, the food still has that comforting, authentic mom-and-pop feel. The flavors were savory, rich, and delicious without losing that homemade quality you sometimes miss in a more polished setting. Our servers were so friendly and helpful, and they gave us some great recommendations to try. Everything we had was full of flavor, and we all really enjoyed our lunch. Sometimes the unplanned places turn out to be the best ones, and this was definitely one of those surprises. I would absolutely recommend giving this place a try!

This the Thai spot to try in Chino Hills!…read more We came here with my cousins to have a family style dinner per their recommendation. Thai restaurants are great for family style dining. The location has plenty of parking. Le Kinaree seems to be quite popular as there are customers waiting outside. The staff took great care of us and gave us ample time to get our orders ready. After seeing, the menu options, I knew the food would be terrific. There offered a lot of traditional Thai dishes and most of the ones were familiar with from other locations. The ambiance is beautiful with all type of decor to rep the culture. We ended up ordering: Crying Tiger: smoky great flavors on their ribeye steak Tom Kha: great robust coconut soup flavors. Pad See Ew: tremedous flavor and great color and textures on the noodles Seafood Fried Rice: 4/5 - recommend it Khao Soi: solid Khao Soi to others I've tried Garlic Prawn: 5/5 some much flavor and some much garlic! Mango Sticky Rice: awesome dessert to end the dinner. We had 7 total dishes to share with 6 people and it gave a great combination of flavors to try from their menu. The service was wonderful and their Thai food would be worth coming back for in the future. Thanks, Le Kinaree! ( ^_^)b

The green is very relaxing visually and it's always really clean and cool inside too. Service is great, food too but that goes without saying. I will say though, after having their boat noodles a couple times, Thaitwist's is probably the best I've had in a very long time. It's incredibly flavorful, though it is a bit lacking in add-ins/components, especially compared to other places I've been to. Besides that, it's still super delicious. However, I can't exactly say the same for their tom yum noodles. It's by far the worst I've had anywhere unfortunately. The soup is mildly tangy and pretty light, but kinda flat in terms of flavor. It's very singular in the taste department and also lacking in add-ins too. I guess if you're feeling under the weather and don't want anything too rich and heavy, this would be a pretty good option. Aside from that, everything else is delicious! After coming here several times, I'm starting to learn what Thaitwist makes really well and what items to skip.

I ordered the Thai Surf & Turf. The shrimp had a really nice grill and sear, and paired SO well with the green sauce. The Crying Tiger was also good, although I wish they gave you the option to choose the temperature of the steak since mine came well done. But wow, the sauces were sooo good. Both sauces really elevated the meat and shrimp. The brown rice was probably the weakest part for me and wasn't particularly appealing, but everything else made me curious to come back and explore more of the menu. Definitely a limited scope review since I only tried one dish, but a really promising first impression. 8/10

I have been craving to try boat noodle soup ($15.95) since I've seen it online. It is a blood-based…read moresoup so it's a dark brown but the taste is not noticeable. It comes with thin noodles, sliced beef, pork meatballs, green onions, pork rinds, Thai basil, and cilantro. They do have a Thai level of spicy and they do warn that they do not to re-makes of dishes. I also got their pork jerky which came with a side of spicy fish sauce dip. The staff is nice and the place is clean.

After leaving Thai Corner,…read moreI thought to myself, I should have checked the reviews on Yelp first before going and I probably could have avoided this. However, much to my surprise, when I checked Yelp, this place has almost all 5-star reviews. It makes no sense, so I had to leave a review. This is definitely not a 5-star or even a 4-star place. I'll give the benefit of doubt, maybe some other people have had a better experience than me, but realistically this place is like 3 stars max. I'm giving it 2 stars in this review and will explain why based on what we ordered. We ordered 3 items. First up was the appetizer which was Rangoons. They didn't look right when we got them. Usually, Rangoons have a puffy shaped appearance and have a cream cheese filling. The Rangoons we got were flat shaped triangles. I thought this was weird but I was trying to be open minded as maybe they have a different style here. They unexpectedly tasted like Chicken. I'm not sure if they used ground Chicken meat in them or if the taste of the filling was overpowered by being cooked in Chicken grease. The next item was Papaya Salad. The person that ate this said it didn't taste like Papaya. The main comment was either they used low-quality Papaya or it was old. Then there was the entree I got, Crying Tiger. Usually, Crying Tiger is marinated flank steak thinly sliced with a spicy sauce on the side. That's not what I got. The meat I got was Steak cut into cubes. It looked and tasted like the cuts of meat you buy at the grocery store to make stew. The sauce on the side was not right either. While the meat tasted alright for being stew meat, the dish was simply not what I was expecting. Overall, the food was visually unappealing and didn't taste right or was sub-par. It was clear that whoever was cooking the food didn't know how to make restaurant quality Thai food. I felt like I was eating out of the back of someone's house who didn't know how to cook good or didn't have the right ingredients or just didn't care. My recommendation is to avoid this place. I've been to a few Thai restaurants in Chino Hills, and this has been the worst so far. I still have a few left to try.

As a table we ordered the blistered green beans with chicken, tom yum with shrimp, beef chow mein, and chicken Penang curry. Everything was fantastic. We also had the pad thai with crispy tofu and they nailed the texture on the tofu perfectly. But honestly, the real sleeper hit of the night was the papaya salad it came with. It was so incredibly refreshing and crisp that we literally had to order a whole second serving of it because we just couldn't get enough. We were so busy enjoying the dish that I could not even get a photo lol
