So this was our 3rd or 4th time coming in..we really liked this place but I think the chef changed. The dishes definitely changed in taste wise. Egg plant dish was way overly sweet, pad thai wasnt flavorful as before and lastly the curry soup was soooooooooo salty!!!!!! Like extremely salty. I dont think we'll be back. :(

My Thai family really enjoyed the food here! Our only gripe is that everything that we ate was a little too sweet. Minus the sweetness, the flavor profile was right, with complete flavors, nearly authentic. This restaurant is unique because they have an open kitchen, so you can see all of the Thai lady cooks wok-ing away! The staff are very friendly and attentive. They are bilingual, but speak such good English we didn't think they spoke Thai! Everything was delicious. And they're not lying when they say it's NOT "Thai spicy." Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

Really good Thai cuisine. Only one server but quite efficient. House Noodle Soup (5/5) Fried Tofu (5/5) Beef Stew (5/5) Clean and modern but a bit sleepy. Placement of the TV is a bit awkward for viewing. If they put a glass divider to view the actions in the kitchen it would be livelier. What can make this place even better is to serve alcohols.

I ordered papaya salad, pad woon sen and tom yum soup through Uber Eats the other day and was so excited to try everything! The papaya salad and pad woon sen hit the spot, but the tom yum tasted a lot sweeter than what I'm used to. I'd definitely order from here again soon. :)

This was my first time at this restaurant and it did not disappoint. My lunch besties and I shared the Chicken egg rolls (5) per order for $12. It was piping hot and had a good crunch. I had the Penang curry with chicken and it came with rice. It was very fresh and flavorful. My girlfriend had the pad se ew with tofu with Chinese broccoli? It it was smokey and delish. I tried a bite. My other friend had the yellow curry with chicken. Everything was well presented on the plate. Service was polite and nice. We were automatically served water which I appreciate. I enjoyed the jazz music in the background. Prices were reasonable considering the quality of the food and the comforting ambience of the restaurant, and the ac was working ! We didn't try the dessert maybe next time.

So let me start by saying the food is phenomenal. Very great tasting food. I had the Pork Pad Thai and Spring Rolls. Both were VERY DELICIOUS and well made. Hot and very good portions. But the service really needs work. 1. Always bring water first. That's a given. We sat 10 minutes before we got our water. Do this before taking the order. 2. When I order an appetizer it's supposed to come out first as an appetizer not with my entree. Lol. 3. I don't know why Asian restaurants insist on bringing everyone's dinner out at separate times. We are a group of 10 that came to eat dinner together, (some came from out of town) NOT one person get her dinner then 10 minutes later someone else gets theirs, then 10 minutes later another etc. when I finally got my food my friend's was getting cold so she had to eat it fast. Great food but we just didn't have a relaxing dinner. We want to eat TOGETHER to enjoy each other's company and food. If we wanted to get our food at separate times we would just go get fast food. Maybe they were short staffed idk. But having excellent food isn't enough. Service has to be on point as well. I was a sommelier at a high end restaurant before and if service wasn't there people won't come back. These are tight times and people can go spend their money anywhere at the plethora of places to eat. Competition is fierce especially with Thai food. Like I said great food and clean spacious tables, and nice workers and servers, (we still tipped) But service needs to be tightened up.

I had high hopes since this place has high ratings and as I wanted to try something new over the weekend, I came here for Saturday lunch. Service was mediocre and nice, however they never checked back to us how's everything after the food came. One red flag to me was when I asked for extra napkins, it was 4 of us and they only gave 2 napkins and when I asked for more, they gave 1 more. I had to let them know it's 4 of us and we all need napkins each. When we got our food, it seems in a smaller portions regarding of the price that we paid for. For $19 of pork belly and Chinese broccoli, as a main dish, when it didn't even come with a rice, I expected the portion as a main dish size, and in a dismay, it's more like in a appetizer size. Then we ordered a side of rice, for $3 and when it came, the rice wasn't even fresh. It looked like an old rice where it's in a yellow-ish color and I can tell right away it's not fresh. The tom yum soup was ok. They cut the lemongrass and it looks like small green onion and I ate it, it was like ewww, why would I eat this? Where usually other places, they cut it in a bigger size so you don't need to eat it since it's for a flavor. Not in my favor at all. The food was 3.5 stars out of five. Not bad and not great as well. Service was ok, regular nice service. Overall, it's way overpriced with the quality and taste that we got. Definitely not our cup of tea.

Nice local Thai spot in Chino Hills. They have above average vegetarian options if you're looking for vegetarian. Casual environment and plenty of parking in the lot. Check any pics!

What a hidden gem, I didn't even know this was around Chino Hills! Boat noodles- comforting and plenty of noodles and meat/meatballs. Not as perfect as the ones I've had in Thailand, but almost there ! This was slightly more salty, but I may prefer this over Vietnamese Pho . 8/10 Sweet chili chicken wings - so good and fresh! It was crispy and juicy , I can drench it in the sauce it came with 10/10 Combination fried rice- on the lighter side but very good. It had a bunch of seafood in it ! 8/10 Thai tea- very refreshing and creamy, not extremely milky or sweet- perfect ! Prices are also very reasonable, can't wait to try the other dishes here next time!

The ambience was great, super casual but it feels elevated by their house music. The service was efficient and friendly. The restaurant is very clean, just a tad on the quaint side so best to make a reservation especially for larger parties. I usually get a beef salad at Thai restaurants and this was the BEST I've ever had- and that's from different states! The server said that they make their own sauce in house. If I could have I would have bought a bottle of the sauce! Definitely recommend!

    Shawn N.

Very good hole in the wall spot. Hopefully this plaza gets more attention because this Thai spot is a gem. Positives: -options, they have a lot of unique Thai dishes that we have not seen or tried before, beyond your standard pad thai and fried rice. -taste, we got khao soi, crispy pork belly, and pork pad Thai. The khao soi is one of the best we've had, it's a little salty but filled with flavor and authenticity. The pork belly was a little too crispy, but the sauce it had paired with it perfectly. The pad Thai was really good, the perfect combination of tang with sweet. Negatives: -prices, the prices are a little higher though not too crazy. Service was quick and friendly. Overall 5/5

    Karee Shrimp

Everything was so tasty and the service was really good. The best Crab Rangoon I ever had. And the crying tiger steak was so good, as was the curry in the karee Shrimp.

Some of their dishes seem more unique, but I have yet to try them. So far I've been sticking with my staple - pad kee mao (drunken noodles). They do a great job with this dish and I've gotten it a few times already. They offer it with ground chicken, which is a plus for me since not all places have it. For what it's worth, others in my party ordered the pad see ew and shrimp fried rice, which they also enjoyed. The employees have always been friendly and helpful. Looking forward to many more visits. Maybe one day I'll venture out and try some of their other dishes - which all look amazing.

There were no eggplant dishes on the menu, something my wife likes to order at Thai restaurants. I had the green curry with shrimp. The brown rice there is $4 upgrade when at other Thai restaurant we have been to in the area is usually $2. If you order the fried Tofu appetizer, ask for the sauce on the side. The waitress told us it came with peanuts sauce and I thought that was just to make sure nobody had a peanut allergy. But it came out with a sweet hot thick peanut sauce peanut sauce poured over it that was really too sweet. We are used to dipping fried tofu in peanut sauce but not hot and swimming in it.

The green is very relaxing visually and it's always really clean and cool inside too. Service is great, food too but that goes without saying. I will say though, after having their boat noodles a couple times, Thaitwist's is probably the best I've had in a very long time. It's incredibly flavorful, though it is a bit lacking in add-ins/components, especially compared to other places I've been to. Besides that, it's still super delicious. However, I can't exactly say the same for their tom yum noodles. It's by far the worst I've had anywhere unfortunately. The soup is mildly tangy and pretty light, but kinda flat in terms of flavor. It's very singular in the taste department and also lacking in add-ins too. I guess if you're feeling under the weather and don't want anything too rich and heavy, this would be a pretty good option. Aside from that, everything else is delicious! After coming here several times, I'm starting to learn what Thaitwist makes really well and what items to skip.

Well let's start with the positive. The papaya salad was good. This is how they got 2 stars from me. Now the pad see ew..... Sad! It tasted burnt. Not edible! This was the reason I stopped going there in the first place. I was upset previously because I got burnt tasting food. It seems like they cook and burn food. Then use the same pan to cook the pad see ew. I had to throw it away. Wasted like almost $20 dollars. People at the front were just okay. There's still a lot of people who go there so maybe that's the secret. If you eat there the food tastes better than if you get take out. They don't care about food quality when you order take out. I just felt like I got bamboozled!!!
