    Pad Thai

Felt in the mood for Thai food at the time, so I visited Basil & Co. Overall it was a great experience with great food and excellent service. This has became one of my favorite spots. Went to the store on a Saturday at around 11:30 AM. It was moderately busy but I was able to seamlessly grab a seat for two. Parking was plentiful in the plaza. By the time I left, there was line waiting in front. Pad Thai: Got this with no green onions. The pad thai leans towards the sweeter side. They only gave one lime. We didn't feel it was enough so we asked for another one. Pork jerky: This came with two sauces. One seemed to be more of a vinegar base and the other one was more savory one. Both were good. Jerky was crispy and packed full of flavor. Papaya salad with pork belly: This includes green peas and tomatoes as well. It tasted seasoned well. The pork belly was also crispy. This took a bit longer to come out but worth the wait. (Completely forgot to take a photo since I was looking forward to it too much!) Make sure to ask for the spice tray; I added many spices for an extra kick. American Express is accepted here.

The food is always great and the service is so delightful! William was so friendly as he served our favorites and he kept us well hydrated and was so thoughtful! The decor and ambiance is welcoming and we can't wait to come back!

I've been wanting to come here for some time and finally made it in for lunch with a coworker. Very busy, almost a little chaotic. I wasn't thrilled with the hands-off ordering approach by scanning the URL on the table and then placing your order. I'm old school and like a menu and waiter/waitress to assist me. They reluctantly acquiesced to our request, and our food was ordered. FOOD: We started with the 8-piece Crispy Wonton ($8.99) appetizer, filled with chicken and shrimp and a sweet/sour dipping sauce. For entrées, we ordered the Hot Basil Chicken ($17.99) and the Red Duck Curry ($22.99), both served with steamed white rice. Everything was delicious, although the prices were higher than other Thai restaurants in the area. Overall, it's a nice place, albeit busy, so you might have a wait to be seated. Food delivery was quick, and the dishes were tasty. I'm sure we'll be back again.

Made another stop with a different group of colleagues, and happy to share that this place is still a great option for delicious Thai food. I really appreciate the great service offered by every single server, they were super attentive and accommodating. Also huge shout-out for accomodating vegan food restrictions, they were able to modify the spicy fried rice completely vegan and the spicy level was just right. Parking is a bit challenging so be patient or try parking on the street.

I can't believe it has taken me this long to discover a Thai restaurant like this one that delivers such authentic flavors in every dish. I tried their pad see ew, yellow pumpkin curry, house fried rice, and Chinese broccoli with crispy pork. Literally, every dish was seasoned to perfection. The quality in their ingredients is definitely evident in every bite. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was very inviting. It does get busy so there can be a wait especially during peak dinner hours. I highly recommend this place for delicious Thai cuisine. I can't wait to come back soon!

Went to check this Thai restaurant out, visiting a couple of friends for lunch and was very pleased in the flavor, quick service, and friendly staff. All of the employees seemed pleasant, had a good attitude, and were quick to provide napkins, clean tables, and get me the check. The food here was delicious! I enjoyed every single dish that we ordered. The Crying Tiger was definitely premium priced, but splitting it between three people wasn't bad. It does come with quite a bit of meat. The flavors for all of these dishes are definitely there. This restaurant does Tom Yum very well, and overall I think that all of the spice-to-flavor ratios were solid. I'd recommend all of the dishes I ordered, and I'd probably stop by again to try other stuff. The pricing is modest, though elevated and higher than a normal take out Thai spot. The extra cost is worth it, to me.

The food, interior, and service are absolutely incredible, while being quite fairly priced! Absolutely recommend. The pad thai is the best in socal (dare i say), with great texture on the noodles. No notes! The papaya salad also tastes exactly as it should, and is very delicious. The fried catfish is also very good, and maintained its crispiness throughout the meal. The mango sticky rice is a little pricey, however the sticky rice is incredibly flavorful. Overall, the food is very very good. I don't believe there is a dish you can go wrong with!

Basil & Co is quality you can taste. Diamond Bar does have some diamonds. I love the way they prepared the Drunken Noodles and appreciated how hot the dish was. The flavors were loud and unapologetically delicious. $17.99 This dish alone was a five star experience. It was my favorite :) The Crispy Rolls are not bad, definitely needed a stronger fish sauce with some lettuce but then the prices creep up. $12.99 Everything was tasty and piping hot! Enjoyed my dinner here.

I visited Basil & Co on a Tuesday for lunch and it was very busy but we were seated promptly. We ordered the drunken noodles, papaya salad, and mango sticky rice. The portions were deceptively large, they are very generous with their servings. My favorite was the papaya salad, which was very refreshing and perfect for the summer heat. My friend loved the drunken noodles the most, since they had a bolder flavor with more of a kick to it. You can never go wrong with their mango sticky rice. The mango is sweet and ripe, and the sticky rice is very coconutty and flavorful. Overall, I'm looking forward to coming back here and trying more of their extensive menu!

This meal is worth the wait! Even at 8PM on a Friday, we waited 30 min for a table, and it was packed inside! With just 2 of us, we were seated at a four-person table. Any smaller of a table would've been a tight fit for all our food. It is very aesthetic inside with modern decor with a casual feel. Service was attentive, and ordering was quick and easy. We ordered a Thai tea, pad Thai with chicken, and yellow pumpkin curry with beef. The Thai tea was good, but nothing out of the ordinary. From our table, we saw the drinks being made to order. As for the food, the Pad Thai was delicious! The chicken was juicy and tender, and it looked like they used chicken thigh instead of the typical chicken breast. The sauce was perfectly balanced without being too sweet or salty, and I loved that the vegetables were still fresh and crunchy. The yellow pumpkin curry was just as good with rich flavor! The beef was tender, and the chunks of pumpkin added a subtle sweetness and great texture. I also liked how it came with a generous side of rice. By the end of the meal, we were completely stuffed. I can easily see why this place is so busy. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area to try the other dishes on the menu, like the papaya salad with crispy pork.

Everything here was so amazing! It's the best Thai food I've ever had in SoCal! I was in the area and we got a couple things to try. The pad thai was so flavorful and the calamari was crispy with a really tasty sour sauce on the side. The Thai teas were also the perfect amount of sweet and creamy. I'd also recommend the green curry. Basically everything we got. Oh especially the chicken satay! I loved that it wasn't on a skewer and it felt like they gave more than I'm used to getting at a restaurant. The inside was clean and well decorated and the workers were all really nice and helpful.

Whether you dine in or order take out it doesn't matter. Just try this place. It was so good!! We ordered crispy tofu appetizer, pad Thai crispy pork, and red duck curry. The red duck curry cannot be beat!! The flavors in the curry were so flavorful yet perfectly balanced. The pad Thai and crispy tofu were delicious too. There were so many things on the menu that made me salivate omg. Oh yeah, and of course we ordered dessert. The mango sticky rice with ice cream was the perfect ending to our meal. Food came out so fast and was pipping hot! Servers were so friendly and attentive. Interior is so thoughtfully designed with bright lighting. Such a great establishment and I can't wait to come back to try more dishes. Depending on time and day of your visit there may be a wait. But rightfully so for how great this place is. Ugh SO GOOD. Seriously, you owe it to yourself!

I went here with friends, and we waited almost half an hour for a table. They're definitely a popular restaurant busy during dinner on weekends. You can expect a bustling and vibrant ambience during this time. We got several dishes: drunken noodles, pad see ew, house fried rice, and yellow pumpkin curry. Each dish came with our choice of protein; the options without an extra cost were chicken, pork, tofu, and vegetables. Our server was friendly, and the other staff made sure we had our waters refilled. Along with great service, I enjoyed the food again. The drunken noodles were flavorful and not too spicy. Mixing the house fried rice with the yellow pumpkin curry was really delicious. You get a great blend of savory and sweet flavors. Portions are large, so we took leftovers home.

We started with the pan-fried pork buns, shumai, crystal shrimp dumplings, xiao long bao, and cartoon sweet custard buns. Everything is made from scratch in their kitchen, which got us excited right away--so many places just steam frozen items and the freshness just isn't there. There's a big window into the kitchen so you can actually watch the chefs making each item specifically for you. The decor inside is trendy and really adds to the experience. There are flowers on the wall that are actually sewn with thread creating designs--unlike anything I've seen before. The seating is all in great shape and not neglected at all. Each table is stocked with soy sauce, black vinegar, chili sauce, and garlic. The staff is friendly and attentive. There's a giant projector screen that comes down along the wall with a projector and LED lighting throughout. I asked and they said they can do karaoke, and they also played World Cup games on it. There are several TVs playing various sports as well. Pan-fried pork buns - 10/10 This was my first time ever having them pan-fried and I'm glad I listened to the waiter's suggestion. The dipping sauce elevated the dish and brought it full circle. Being pan-fried gave them a slight crisp that was perfect. Shumai - 10/10 Just delicious. Crystal shrimp dumplings - 10/10 These were made fresh. I've had these at other dim sum places and it's been hit or miss--sometimes soggy, sometimes the wrapper is hard. That wasn't the case here at all. Perfection wrapped around shrimp. Xiao long bao - 10/10 I've had dumplings at places like Din Tai Fung, and I honestly believe these are better. The broth inside was bursting with flavor and the exterior was fresh and made perfectly. I'll be dreaming of these. Cartoon sweet custard buns - 9/10 These were delicious and so cute. The only thing I would have changed is giving the inside a bit more custard (personal preference--some people might think the balance is perfect). The rest of the bao was cooked perfectly, so soft, and the design made the experience that much more memorable. I highly recommend eating here. This is going to be one of our regular spots from now on.

We had dinner at JJ Noodle last night and overall really enjoyed the food!…read more We ordered the spicy cold chicken, grilled fish, and stir-fried pork intestines. The cold chicken was tender and flavorful, tossed in a spicy sauce with sesame seeds and crushed peanuts. The grilled fish was also very good -- meaty, flavorful, and surprisingly not too bony. We ordered the pork intestines mild, and the flavor was just right without being too spicy. The restaurant was clean and the food came out tasting fresh. The only downside is that the tables are pretty small. It's comfortable for 2-3 people, but for a larger family or group, you may need to put tables together. I also wish the menu had a few more choices, since the selection is somewhat limited. It's located in a convenient shopping center with easy parking. Overall, the menu may be simple, but the dishes we tried were well prepared and flavorful. We'd definitely come back and try more!

You get to build your own hot pot exactly how you like it by choosing from a huge self-serve selection of vegetables, noodles, seafood, and other sides. The sauce bar is another highlight, with tons of ingredients to mix and create your own perfect dipping sauce. It's interactive, fun, and perfect for a date night, family dinner, or hanging out with friends. Great food, great experience, and I'll definitely be back!

Loved the variety and selection of flavors and spices for any palate. Had the Soto Betwai, it was delicious with steamed rice. Wings were crispy and well seasoned. Loved the fried rice, and the generous amount of wagyu steak was surprisingly tender and flavor for only $22. The service was top notch, attentive, and helpful. The dining area was dimly lit, classy, and had a romantic date-night atmosphere.

We ordered dumplings to start, brisket noodles, and nasi uduk from the Dine LA menu. The dumplings came out and were super salty. Fine, it wasn't that bad, but instead we ended up waiting over an hour for them to serve us instant noodles in the most mediocre chicken soup like broth, with the toughest, chewiest brisket and some dry stringy chicken in nasi uduk. If the wait wasn't bad enough, paying $55 per person to be served the most basic food is a slap in the face. No one came to check on us while we were waiting and I had to ask a server to check on our food. I could've made something at home that tasted better and it sure wouldn't have taken that long to come out. Feel like I wasted my night and my money. Possibly one of the worst experiences I've ever had eating out. Edit: OH MY GOD I FORGOT THEY CHARGE A 20% SERVICE CHARGE AND FOR WHAT?? To wait for an hour and waste our time to serve us the most mid food? Please
