The best tacos. Not to mention the amazing customer service and prompt attention. One of my fave local spots. Yay for Cali tacos

The food is good WHEN they can get it right. We've given them more than a fair shot at producing the order that we ask for. I literally wrote it down, took it to the counter and read it off to them, and when I got in the car to look through the order, they STILL gave me the wrong food. How is that possible when face to face? This makes 3 difference instances in which Calitacos got the order either, completely wrong, or fell short of giving a complete order (missing food altogether). I'm done with this place. Horrible service waited a hour for our order for take out, we asked about our food they said it will only take 20 minutes the girls are very rude gave me a lot of attitude girl with red hair and another lady with glasses short we would ask about Our order they had no rush on getting the orders out.unfortunately very disappointed. read more

I love this place! But unfortunately, it's only good when you decide to eat in. When I pick up my order, the inconsistencies blows my mind. The tacos dorados I always get are so good when I dine in but when I pick up, they're always so sloppy and soggy and one time I picked up my order, the consume was ICE cold! the food is amazing!! however I place an order yesterday at 5:06pm over the phone with a gentleman. because my order was over $50 he stated I had to pay for my order over the phone. this is something I honestly hate to do because of fraud past experiences! so guess what I noticed on by mobile bank account first thing this morning.. a online charge for a vapor tobacco. I do not smoke. I call my bank and of course I confirmed it was an online order made from my bank account. ugh!! I was so hyped to go and get the food because of the reviews but was sorely disappointed the prices for what we got were not that great and to order margaritas for 5.99$ and it be smaller than my hand is outrageous. Wow, first time here and will make this a definite stop for taco Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday and Saturday. We had the Birria tacos dorados and the regular birria tacos and a Cali burrito with Consommé. My taste buds are still dancing. The best part is they have Modelo Especial on draft and TV's everywhere for sports. Location is tucked in a strip mall but the atmosphere is great If you appreciate Latin music and great food. Good crowd on a Tuesday evening and that says a lot to me. Recommend this place with five stars. Tip of the hat to the folks working. Very attentive and food came quick. This place hikes up their food on instagram way too much for what it actually is! The so amazing mango and strawberry margaritas were basically a sugar smoothie, with no taste of tequila. The employees who work there are incompetent to take orders, my order was wrong after a 45 min wait, to then take it home and find out I only got 3 tacos! Out of 12 that we're ordered. Their carne asada does not have a good taste either, the meat that is used has a lot of tendon and hard to chew, you barely get any meat in the $2.75 taco! It's overly priced and just not worth the money. Save your money and visit Tacos Califas on 99th and McDowell. read more

I had messaged calitacos because they had gotten my order wrong and told them I was disappointed because, I asked TWICE for how I wanted my order . I did make a complaint to them & it was a nice one. Food looks so good! We were dying to try them. I told my family about it and we went together.We placed our order and waited... after an hour and 30 mins we asked because they were serving people that went in after us. And they told us they ran out of birria. Why why why wait 1 hour and 30 mins after we placed our order to tell us. They didn't even come to us we had to ask. We asked for our money back and because we were so mad they gave it to us and we walked out. Once in the car we counted the money and they didn't give all of it back. Pero despues de hablar con mis hermanas y voltiar mi cabeza a los lados vimos que los otros clientes tenian bebidas con hielo. No podia creer porque razon ella me mentiria pero salio otra empleada del baño y le dije disculpe me trai un vaso de hielo y la señorita con gusto me lo trajo. despues llega miriam con las bebidas y mi bebida me la trajo de tamarindo cuando le pedi de mandarina. So I just left here. Worst service I've ever received. Placed my order, watched as my order was sitting there getting cold. Watched the waitress/server with the blonde hair go back in the kitchen and show the cooks something on her phone. After 15 min of my food just sitting there she had the nerve to bring me mine and my kids food cold. When I told her what I had observed she snatched the food up and threw it in the trash.
