Best Absolutely the Best Birthday Cakes in the Valley Thank From the bottom of Herrera Family's Heart.

    The moon cake

I ended up ordering 2 cakes. A moon cake and a small smash cake. I ordered both of them to be a 3 leches cake. But when I cut into it. It indeed was not a 3 leches, both cakes were sooo dry! There was more frosting than then the actual cake. The smash cake was broken from the bottom. I called so i can have a refund. Atleast half for what I paid for. I paid $150 for both cakes and was not satisfied with what I got back. I spoke to the women in charge there and she tried gas lighting me saying that I was already informed that they could not do the smash cake into a 3 leches cake. Supposing she were telling the truth, my moon cake was also not 3 leches. She refused to give me a refund and said she would only give me credit for that error. As for the broken smash cake she said that I should of gone back and took them the cake so she could replace it. It was a 20 min drive from my location to their shop. Plus they were already closed. Obviously from this experience, I didn't want the credit because I won't be returning to them. I used to buy cakes from them years back, but the service and the cakes itself aren't as good as they used to be. Would not recomm

Strawberry cheesecake, for Mom in law's 7th Birthday.

Purchased a strawberry cheesecake for my mother in law's birthday. Didn't order ahead of time and came in about 5:45 p m on a Saturday night. Very pleased with the selection of cakes and the cheesecake. The aroma of the bakery was as if it were early morning. The salesperson was helpful and wasn't rushing us out the door. He gave us the business card and said to call in an order anytime. The cheesecake was creamy and not dry. The crust was a heavenly, buttery Graham cracker crust. The strawberry were large and flavorful.

I have been coming here since I moved to Kerman, about four years ago. I get different cakes for different occasions. Some have been for birthdays, anniversaries, gender reveals, and much more events that I plan for my work. There have been times in where I make my orders a week prior and if it's possible they make it. Recently I made an order of Pokémon cupcakes for my boyfriend. I made the order last week on Wednesday and indeed were ready on Tuesday when I needed them. It's a good place to buy your cakes.

Great quality for a decent price! They have a great turn around time and can make custom orders even if it's last minute.

Paid about 6 dollars for a slice a cake that was more frosting than cake. Very disappointing.

Except when I proceeded to book a cake with her, she told me it was $60 totally which I think is pretty reasonable. But, when I asked her for the flavors that she had to offer, she stated she would need a $30 deposit first to hold my spot (totally understandable) but also to show me the list of flavors she has to offer. I was expressed that I would love to see the list of flavors first before I book anything and she said, that was just her rules. Never have I ever heard of such a ridiculous rule. It's like going to a restaurant and they make you pay $30 to see the menu first. That's ridiculous!

Not only was it almost impossible to communicate with this place other than email ..I'm confused at this part since the description of this business is listed as all about communication with their customers and that is clearly not the case. They will not even speak to you on the phone, it must be through email. ......what I ordered and even sent pictures of (to their email) is not what we received. The cookies although tasted great were not readable at all since the writing was done in the same color as the frosting. The cake pops were beautiful but were absolutely not edible. They had no flavor at all. Now the cake....the cake was a leaning tower of cake mess that by the grace of God never fell. The house was kept at 67 degrees too so it NEVER got even warm...after cutting into the cake we quickly realized the cake leaning was not the worst part...it turned into a dry crumbling hot embarrassing mess. The guests were very polite and understanding about the disaster of this dessert table from "Steph's Desserts" but the embarrassment that we were left with will never be forgotten.... I do not mind paying professional bakery prices when you receive professional service and items. This unfortunately is not the case with this business...

The Tamales are delicious and perfect masa to meat ratio. The Quesabirria's are perfectly grilled on the outside and melty cheesy on the inside. The Riblets in salsa are to die for! Breakfast burritos are bomb (I ask for added refried beans) the arroz con leche is super satisfying. Like I said, this spot warms the soul

The handmade tortilla on the steak quesadilla was spectacular. Seriously, the masa alone was worth the visit. It was fresh, flavorful, and had that texture you only get when someone actually knows what they're doing with a tortilla. I ordered the goat super burrito without rice. Normally, when I hear "super," I expect sour cream and guacamole, but mine didn't come with either. What it did have, however, was what seemed like double the meat. And I'm certainly not going to complain about that. The goat was beautifully stewed, tender, flavorful, and incredibly fresh. Actually, everything here tastes fresh. And that's because it is. Everything is made from scratch, and you can taste the difference. It took about 15-20 minutes from ordering to getting my food, which is completely reasonable considering everything is being prepared fresh, on the spot. There was no one else in the restaurant when I ordered, but that clearly doesn't mean this place isn't busy. It was Friday, and there was a steady stream of people coming through to pick up bakery orders. Everything in the bakery case looked amazing, and judging by the number of people coming in, I wasn't the only one who knew it. I'm just a little sad with my visit, because you can't really see into the kitchen. So I didn't get to watch the woman making the masa, mixing it between her hands with that effortless rhythm that makes you wonder how many years, or generations, it took to learn. A rhythm taught to her by her mother, who learned it from hers. Then watching her fold, shape, and press that masa would be like watching history become dinner. There was generations of tradition, technique, and love layered into something you get to hold in your hands and eat. This space is immaculate and it has soul and sol. My only reason for not giving it five stars is that everything is to-go. I really wanted to sit down and enjoy this meal right there instead of taking it with me. With food this good, handmade, and fresh, I would absolutely love to have a place to sit and savor it. Great food, handmade from scratch, generous portions, and a bakery that clearly deserves further investigation. This isn't just a place making food. It's a kitchen carrying something forward. And that's a pretty special thing.
