I,ordered their mini biscuits because I wanted country ham. So, one country ham, one cheese and chive, one cinnamon. Unfortunately, no country ham biscuit but an olive and cheese biscuit. I hate olives but ate it anyway. The cheese and chive biscuit was delicious. The cinnamon biscuit was the best of the three I had. Biscuits themselves are delicious and worth the wait. I wanted a mini sampler so I went for the 3 biscuits for $6 deal and tried the buttermilk, cinnamon and blackberry with honey, jam and cinnamon butter. The strawberry shortcake biscuits are hands down my favorite! They are so tasty! My only concern is that the biscuits tend to be a bit on the drier side and crumble very easily. Went here on a work visit and tried the sample box -- highly recommend if you're a fellow millennial with decision paralysis. It's the easiest way to taste a little bit of everything without overthinking it. My favorites were cheese + chive and the shortcake. Surprisingly, I found the OG buttermilk a little dry, and the pimento didn't hit for me (which is rare because I usually love pimento). Just a heads up: it's a small shop, not a full bakery or restaurant, so don't expect much seating. There's a little standing room with a ledge, but that's about it. On our last day in the Charleston area, I wanted to order my wife a gluten-free biscuit since she is celiac. Callie's is amazing. They offer both gluten and gluten-free biscuits, produced separately to avoid cross-contamination. Their breakfast sandwiches are out-of-this-world good. There is no dining room on King Street in this narrow take-out space. You can enjoy your sandwiches and biscuits at a narrow counter on the north side of the space, with the south side more for picking up swag and ordering your food at the front counter, deep down the hall-like room. Behind the counter is the baking area and kitchen, where the magic happens. Walking past the two fridges to the front counter, you see all the trophies showcasing the response to what they have created with the biscuits. As they say, "The proof is in the pudding." Only in biscuits. I enjoyed my Bacon, Egg, and Pimento Cheese biscuit sandwich with Carolina Honey, which was wonderful and magical. It allowed me to radiate with goodness in addition to the iced cold brew I drank. My wife enjoyed her gluten-free biscuit sandwich, which I believe she ordered with bacon, egg, and cheese (but cheddar, no pimento). On the day we went, the daily special was a delightful blast of peanut butter, Nutella, and banana, which I also ordered and found to be very magical. They were mini biscuits slathered with peanut butter and banana in the middle, with Nutella poured on top for an experience of spiritual culinary oneness. We picked up our order of 3 biscuits...one fried chicken biscuit, one with blackberry preserves and goat cheese, and one bacon/egg/cheese. These biscuits sandwiches were amazing! The bacon/egg/cheese one had to be eaten with a fork because it crumbled. The fried chicken biscuit could be eaten like a sandwich and was my favorite one. It was absolutely perfect...the chicken was cooked perfectly and the biscuit was a perfect complement to the richness of the fried chicken. There is no seating, but there is a bar that you can stand at to eat. It is all street parking here. You order at the counter and then everything is in a to-go box. We also got the 3 for 7 and tried the cinnamon, cheddar cheese, and cheese and chives. All were great but the cinnamon one was the clear winner. Both sandwiches were large, filling, and had generous portions, and the bacon was great. I was definitely full for lunch. The tomatoes in the BLT were cut up grape tomatoes, which was kind of strange and difficult to eat - I would have much preferred larger sliced tomatoes that didn't fall out of the sandwich as easily when I ate.
