They told me that they serve New York style and Detroit style pizza. I'll have to try Detroit someday, but for now I focused on New York style. I ordered a spicy sausage pizza and a pepperoni which had hot honey. I only ever had hot honey in Los Angeles, so I was hoping it would be delicious. The spicy sausage pizza was delicious, flavors were balanced and I tasted everything they laid out. The pizza is thin so it's definitely New York style and the crust was so crispy and light. The thing I love about New York style pizza is just how edible the crust are. I feel like you can just have them as breadsticks and I would buy them. The hot honey pizza was an out of the world flavor. If I had to pick one pizza for anyone to try it's this New York Pepperoni with hot honey. This is an amazing balance of sweet and savory. The first bite really took my tastebuds on a ride and I was ready for another. The pepperoni pizza wasn't too greasy and the honey just really brought the flavor altogether. I saw that they had Henhouse beer on tap, so I had to stay and drink it there to enjoy a Henhouse properly. We ordered cheese pizza for my kids, and created our own pizza combo dish, along with hot wings. While waiting, I enjoyed my beer along with family chat, and reviewed the meaning behind the "twist" part of their name. Pizza Twist is a California original back in 2014 and now has 60 locations in the US and Canada, and just recently opened a new one in Jersey City. Its twist is not only that it's a Chicago style pizza but with Indian cuisine influence. Woww!!! They have Tikka Masala Pizza Twist, Spicy Lamb Kabob Pizza, and Curry Pizza Twist, which I'd love to try on my next visit. When we received the pizza, it was very delicious, good flavor combo that we created, more of vegetarian but added pepperoni to it. The price and value for what we had was decent, can' say much for BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse. Overall, Sagar was very hospitable, the ambiance was delightful, and the value and quality was excellent. I rate this an "A" for a family pizza restaurant.

The Bay Area has plenty of great deep dish pizza options that blow Old Chicago Pizza away in terms of quality, pricing, and taste. The pizza we received had far too much mozzarella and too few spoonfuls of pesto and sausages; the balance was terribly off. Definitely look elsewhere for deep-dish pizza, or skip it all together if Old Chicago is your only option.

Two hours past my delivery time and still no food. I called multiple times, got disconnected four times and when I finally got through, I was told they'd "send them right over." Spoiler: they didn't. I ended up driving there myself and walked into a complete disaster. There were 20+ people all waiting for orders that hadn't been made or delivered. Some had been waiting over two hours. My order was supposedly "in the oven" even though it should've arrived ages ago. They promised to refund my delivery fee and tip since I had to go pick up my own food, but guess what? No refund. When I called to follow up, I was told there was no manager on duty and to "call back tomorrow." Seriously? It's one thing to be busy, it's Halloween, I get it but this was a total meltdown of planning, communication, and accountability. Terrible experience from start to finish.
