I came back here because I got a decent personal Pizza 29 days ago. Today i got the most LOUSY burnt gelly pizza ever! Skimpy cheese air bubbles looked like they reused old dough totally flat. I immediately brought it to the staffs attention. They got defensive pushed back said that's how it is. They could remake it, but it's gonna come out the same.??? What the heck. I used to work Round Table years ago, and I never dished out. People burnt pizza with skimpy toppings old dough. The remake came out under none and they said it was done. Wasted $15.93 bathrooms had a foul odor and the salad bar didn't look so hot. They advertised a buffet at 11:30 AM, but it wasn't set up whatsoever because nobody was there . I really am just coming here to complement the young lady working today. Me and my coworker stopped in for their lunch special and as a previous business owner I was blown away with how busy this worker was. She didn't stop, she greeted us right away and once we ordered she went right back to staying on task and busy. I think now a days people don't give enough credit where it's due on yelp, this environment felt welcoming, felt clean, the food was hot and made fresh and the salad bar was full stocked and clean. Floors not dirty and windows clean. I would return here anytime and have confidence knowing the atmosphere would fit my need. Kid friendly too. Customer service was outstanding, I'm writing this review as I'm sitting here eating my pizza and that says in itself that I had to tell somebody! I just ordered a pizza for pickup. The guy who took my order said " pull up to the door" . I arrive pull up to the door, no one comes. No sign on the door. Drive to the front, all parking spaces filled. I honk, no one comes. I call, the guy on the phone acts like he can't speak. I pull back to the side, a big thick woman with zits all over her face comes out to tell me that pick up is at the front. I said, then it should be posted on this side door where to pull up. She argues and says the sign is on the door in the front. I said, the guy that took my order didn't specify what door. This woman was rude, argumentative, and what I had to say she never heard. She should be terminated for her rude argumentative behavior. I would appreciate contact from the manager of this roundtable or corporate, how dare this " rude employee argue with a customer". Don't you know good customer service is the customer is right. Get signs on your door that better show where the pick up is! read more

I've been eating at Round Table Pizza since I was a kid....in other words a very long time. I was bummed when it went away briefly but was ecstatic when it made its long awaited return. Yes they had some issues at firsts such as wrong times for pick ups when you placed your order online or by phone, extra long deliveries, etc. Eventually it smoothed out. About 2 weeks ago I ordered online 2 small garden salads & a large pizza to be delivered to my work. Scheduled it for 12:30pm delivery. I got a call asking if they could deliver earlier because they weren't busy so I said sure 12pm would be good. They showed up about 12:10pm which was fine. Salads & pizza were great. Last Friday I tried to order online & it kept saying that they don't delivery to my delivery address. Hmmm, funny you did last week RTP. I ended up calling to place my order with Maria. I ordered 1 small garden salad but 2 dressings as we were splitting the salad (they are rather large for a small), & then a small pizza. She repeated the order back along with the fact that I wanted 2 different salad dressings & what they were, she then said that the delivery time was 1 hour & 25 minutes to which I responded that their online system said 55 minutes. When we hung up it was 11:10am so that is when I started the clock so to speak. Based on the delivery time I should've received my order at 12:35pm but alas I did not. At 12:43pm I called & was told that the person left 15 minutes ago & I was the only delivery, I was then put on hold & when the person came back on line he said it should be about 5 to 10 more minutes before they arrived. My work is about 1.5 miles away so it should've taken 4 to 6 minute depending if you hit every single stop light. I received a call from RTP at 12:55pm stating that the driver said they couldn't find me. While on the phone with the restaurant the driver calls me and says she can't find me either. I tell her I'm in Suite 5, she say she only sees suite 4. I then tell her she's on the other side of the building & to walk around the building. Mind you, the gentleman from the restaurant can hear the whole conversation as I'm on the handset with him & put her on speaker phone. So she hangs up, I hang up with the restaurant & 2 minutes later the driver calls me again saying she can't find me. I'm in an industrial building, there are 5 businesses in this building & 1 of them only uses it for storage, I had my front door open so I step outside & she's standing at the far end of the building looking every where but down the length of the building to see there are other doors. I said on the phone "turn around" she does & says oh I didn't see you there. I walk back into my office & it literally takes her 2 minutes to walk a 20 second walk. Then she tries to tell me that she was already here. No you weren't because I've been sitting here the whole time with my door open & I can see very person & every car that drives by. By the time I got my meal it was (are you ready for this?) 1:05pm. Talk about a comedy (really it wasn't funny) of errors from one driver! Now according to their delivery receipt it shows the order time as 11:02am, with an estimated delivery time of 12:15pm. As I said, I considered the clock to start when I hung up the phone at 11:10am & estimated the 1 hour & 25 minute delivery to be 12:35pm. According to the "direction" receipt that they provided the driver showed it was printed at 12:28pm & it should take her 6 minutes to get to my location which would be right about when it should've arrived 12:35pm not 30 minutes later. Oh & remember I said I requested 2 salad dressings (1 ranch, 1 Italian) so we could split the salad? You guessed it, ranch only! So no salad for me. The person that tried to help me out as best he could, and I'm sorry if I get his name wrong, was Arlon or Alton, and he really did try to help. He ended up giving us a credit of not quite $9 on the credit card. And I will say the pizza still had good flavor but this whole ordeal just left (pardon the pun) a bad taste in my mouth for their delivery service! One note to management - make sure you have competent drivers who know where the heck they are going as this was ridiculous! read more

The pizza was delicious. I am super excited to come for lunch and have the salad bar one day, too. I really miss salad bars and just assumed they had discontinued it. They always have the best salad toppings. The pizza by the way was ready and waiting at the time we requested. And it stayed warm while drove to our destination. The restaurant was also, very clean. Ordered a large Mikes hot honey. Was interested in trying the new pizza from the commercials. When I got it home and opened the pizza it had a hair on it. When I called to complain about the hair they refused to replace my pizza and instead offered me a dollar off another pizza!!!! Worst service I have ever received. You need to work on hygiene and customer service at this location. Wow! Sorry to see sad reviews! We've done well here, lunch buffet is always good and they quickly add vegetarian pizzas to the buffet. It's good, we really like their bubbly crusts and yummy sauce. We've also ordered take out with no problems. There's nothing organic on the menu and it's a fast food style place but it's nice to eat there, they have a beer and wine bar and great pizzas. Quality wise, it's round table, which sometimes hits the spot, especially if you're like me and used to get round table after ball games as a kid. It delivers on that when the order is right. 2 of the last 4 times i've gotten pizza here they got the order wrong. We order online, and don't deviate with extras or anything, so it's not like we are working with a complex order here. Generally whatever, it's still pizza, but I called in to let them know this time, and the individual fielding my call seemed confused about what I was saying, and didn't apologize for the order being wrong or anything. I decided to give this Round Table a second chance. This time I was even more unpleased with the service and quality so I took my review down to 2 stars. I made sure to order Extra Sauce on my Pizza because my last pizza here had very little sauce. This time my pizza had even less sauce.... I wish the staff was better trained on making pizzas. I purchased a pizza for carry out, it was ready when I got there. Pizza slices were very thin from what I'm use too, but that didn't bother me much. I was upset that there was very little sauce on this pizza compared to all the Round Table pizza's I have had over the years. For $35 I would like these pizzas to be consistently good. read more

Consistently good, and what I expect. When I order delivery, food is almost always delivered ahead of schedule. My go to.

It's a shame, because I do like their pizza (the crust is good). But whether dining in or delivery, you get the impression that none of the employees wants to be there. Tonight, ordered online, was given a time of 1 hour, 15 minutes for delivery. Called at 1h25m, and was told our food had just gone into the oven, and would be another 15m -20m. Two hours for pizza? And of course, the guy on the other end couldn't have cared less. He sounded bored, and acted like it was my fault or that I was stupid for not knowing it would take 2 hours to get our food. Got excuses like "We've been having problems with the computer system not updating our delivery times". There's this invention called the telephone. Call me and tell me it's gonna be an extra 30 - 45 minutes, and I can tell you whether or not to cook my food. Easy solution -- lots of other places in town to get pizza. Happy to patronize someone else, someone local. Please continue to staff with entitled teenagers and millennials with no work ethic and see how your business thrives. read more

I called to order and was told they don't deliver over 3.5 miles away, thinking this was strange as I've ordered her numerous times before I asked how far I was? After they told me I was 3.6 miles away, I said OK as I have been told to try Mountain Mikes anyway, and while I'm sure it won't be as comfortable as the place I've been getting my pizza for over FORTY FIVE YEARS ( I go back to their original location) it will be my last time as even the manager said they couldn't go past the 3.5 mile mark ( even though they have repeatedly). It's their business and they should run it as they see fit, but it's my money and I will do the sameI gave it 2 stars as I love their pizza, but I HATE a lack of common I would look at who was working at that time on the day of, shouldn't be hard to figure it out. Also, I asked the person who answered for the MOD, someone came on as such and confirmed they would not deliver. I ordered 2 pizzas online from this location. They were ready at the posted time, they were hot and cooked perfectly! Lots of toppings and they tasted great. As far as service, I don't expect to be treated like a king, but I do have some basic expectations. The girl that helped me at the counter wasn't outgoing at all. I had to ask for cheese and peppers to go. Not a huge deal, but when someone gets take out pizza that should be a standard question. When I had the pizzas and condiments, she didn't thank me or tell me to have a good evening, I had to initiate the parting conversation. Again, not a huge deal. Maybe she is very new or very shy. I love Round Table Pizza. It was my first job out of high school and I worked there for 3 years. The Paradise location where I worked (RIP) was top notch with top notch management. Every other store I've been to does not compare. The Petaluma location is one of those. We went on a night that was a benefit for our daughters school. There were maybe 3 families in the restaurant total. By no means were they busy. I saw my pizza get set on the counter to be brought out to the table(not in a warmer). I waited 5 minutes before I went up and asked to take it when I was told that it would be brought out to me as it was too hot for me to take. I saw back down for another 2 minutes. I went back up seeing that the employee on register started taking another order while another was stocking the salad bar and two others where standing by the soda machine. I assured the employee that I could take it and handle the heat as I had worked with pizza before. He reminded me he was the only one on register as he reluctantly gave me the pizza. As I finished my pizza I checked the counter and the pizzas in boxes ready for takeout when I arrived we're still sitting on the counter. They sat there not in a warmer for at least 15 minutes. Management really needs to get their employees in line and care about their business. It makes me not want to come to my favorite pizza place. The dress code has turedn workers into slobs and very unprofessional. Hats, aprons, shirts tucked in. Smiles. Thats what makes a difference. That and people that care about the job. It seems this RTP lacks those things. read more

I've returned to Round Table since my last review, and I'm happy to report that things have changed a great deal. Service has greatly improved: my order was handled quickly, everything things went smoothly, and I'm happy to report I can once again enjoy a pizza from the chain I consider to be the best. Either management kicked some serious butt, or it was just a weird night - either way, their quality of service is back to the standards it had been in the past, and that's a pretty good level to operate at. Pizza is a personal thing. Everyone has a favorite place, and Petaluma has lots of choices - but for a reliably great pizza I can once again wholeheartedly recommend them. read more
