Visited this spot on a Sunday afternoon. There was a line but It went by pretty fast. They have grab and go options before you head to the hot foods to order your food. I ordered 2 bbq chicken bahn mi's, a small pad thai order, and grabbed a bahn beo. It all came out to 28$ which was really good priced! There is no seating inside but its really spacious. This is more of a grab and go type spot. The workers were really nice and we got everything pretty fast. I'll definitely come back to try everything on the menu.

I was just here this past Saturday and what this place had to offer was spectacular. This isn't just a deli, it was also like a mini market too. There was all kinds of snacks from Lays chips with unique flavors, Takoyaki crunchy snacks, Pocky, Japanese candy making kits, anything you can find in an Asian supermarket. The workers there are very friendly, and the ambiance includes people wanting their banh mi fix here. My sisters and I got some sandwiches here to eat before we had to embark to my cousin's party. I got a pork belly sandwich with no jalapeños. It tasted super amazing. My sisters got combo banh mi. We also got Takoyaki crunchy snacks and the Vietnamese pandan honeycomb cake. The cake was delicious, not too sweet, not too chewy. Next time we come back here, we'll get the sandwiches and honeycomb cake again.

This is definitely a take out spot. Service is quick and efficient They have a variety of Vietnamese dishes and they also do catering at a discounted price. Popular items: - Bahn Mi (I had the original and it was delicious). I added the fried egg but I feel like it is better without it. - Combination Spring Rolls Include: -- Egg (must combine with vinegar sauce) -- Beef (must combine with there peanut sauce) -- Shrimp (must dip in there vinegar and peanut sauce)

Absolutely stellar. There is NO better deal / authenticity ratio that I have found in the bay. This was the best meal I ate from any restaurant over my birthday week and it was by far the most affordable and humble. The shrimp spring rolls are perfection, the chicken vermicelli noodle plate is sooo good once you stir it all together and add hot sauce, the banh me is only $7! It's a must try spot. I got that whole stack of food for $25. They have a ton of other offerings on their hot bar as well. Hidden gem!

A Vietnamese deli with so many options, it's so hard to choose just one thing so I had to get a bunch! From hot foods to deli items on the counter to desserts in the fridge, there is something for everyone. Workers were nice and friendly, and speedy at taking and making orders! The store seemed clean and the ordering process was very easy, and everything looked so good! I got a Banh mi, which was stuffed with delicious cold cuts, and was tempted by the Vietnamese boxed items on sale. Can't wait to come back again for a Vietnamese food fix when in the Bay Area!

My childhood go to spot, this family/resturant literally raised me and all my family, coworkers and friends Their Bahn mi are amazing, I always get chicken with patte and all the veggies My coworkers who work less than 5 mins always come by to get their Togo lunch boxes I have nothing bad to say The family/workers are great, food is great, prices is reasonable, even their desserts (not a sweet tooth) are delicious Thank you for everything you and your family do for us and the community

I have been going to this lovely deli in Oakland's Little Saigon neighborhood since the late 90's. The same friendly family has always owned it, and the Vietnamese deli offerings have always been fresh, flavorful and made with love. For the vegetarians, they make super yummy greens as well as cubed lemon grass tofu and curry tofu, plus vegetarian banh mi sandwiches, among other types of banh mi. They make plenty of chicken and pork dishes too, including skewers. Oh, and the green pandan waffles!!!!! (If you know, you know) My son can't go there without ordering two. They also carry lots of imported Asian candy and snacks. They offer catering as well.

Cam Huong is BOMB. It had been YEARS since I've gone since this recent visit and their food remains the same: delicious. I love that consistency. I usually call ahead to place my order as I'm on my way over to just park, pay and be out. Parking can be limiting- there is a corner little lot across the street or parking up front or around the corner (get creative). The location is a bit off the corner of International and 7th-- it's no longer a spot you can dine in, it's a straight to the point hole in the wall deli to be in and out. They have a bunch of snacks and drinks available but my usual is the teriyaki chicken banh mi, veggie rolls and chow fun. I also tried their plantain roll this time. It was all really good-super munchies. If you order ahead, stand by the register and let them know you're picking up vs standing in line to order. Staff are the same from way back, friendly and on the move to get business moving. Super efficient. Most def recommend.

The banh mi is the star here, with a perfectly crunchy baguette and a variety of fillings, from the classic Special Combo with pork roll to BBQ pork and grilled chicken. Beyond sandwiches, they offer a range of traditional Vietnamese dishes, including noodle soups, rice dishes, and tempting a la carte items like their highly praised stir-fried pickled mustard greens and crispy egg rolls. While it's primarily a grab-and-go spot, don't let the quick service fool you - the food is made with care and often draws a line out the door, especially during peak hours. If you're looking for authentic Vietnamese comfort food that's both satisfying and easy on the wallet, Cam Huong is a definite must-try in Oakland.

Quality/Quantity - Special Combo with Pork Roll Slices - Good, my usual go to item. BBQ Chicken with Mayo - Got this for my wife, her usual go to item. Large Chow Mein - Been craving noodles... All of which were good. Nothing special, but good. Good solid food for reasonable prices. Also available are drinks, snacks, prepared foods, etc. See pictures. Also available are soups, rice plates, lunch specials. Catering is also available. I saw a separate line for catering pick up, and it was busy! Atmosphere - Good size location; it looks like they are expanding into next door...? See pictures. No restrooms; they had signs posted everywhere throughout. They must get asked this often. Street parking, good luck. Open 7 days a week from 7am to 6pm. Service - Again, nothing special. Good, not bad. Efficient, not friendly, but not rude. It was busy prime lunch time, but they were fairly organized. I also felt that most, if not all, of their customers were regulars, they all seemed to know where to stand and get in line, especially because they had minimum signage/directions. Price - $20.50, inexpensive in my opinion. 2.8% charge to use a credit card. I paid cash. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1985 and with your two locations.

They do take credit, but you need to spend a certain amount: ~$10 I believe. Otherwise there would be an additional charge.

The deli is a nice size with a couple of benches to sit and wait for your food. You can look at the menu and order, plus grab a drink or chips. They have a nice variety of items to grab that go well with your sandwich. The service was friendly and quick. Workers were all kind, and we love that it's dog-friendly! Regarding the sandwiches, you can get a hot or cold sandwich. You can also build your own! Companion got the Hot Boy, and I went the Build Your Own route. The sandwiches are hefty, with lots of great meats and fillings, and for the price, very decent! I wish my bread were a bit more toasted and crunchier, but that's my preference. It hit the spot, and I'd be open to trying their other sandwiches. I don't often go to delis, but Brothers Deli was a nice place to try. We enjoyed it by the waterfront, which makes it a great picnic option. Find them off Park Blvd., with street and residential parking around.

No restroom. M E N U Rotating menu of 8 specialty sandwiches (half AZN inspired) along with your typical sandwiches like ham & cheese and italian combo ($14-$20). No substitutes and you can only take away ingredients, e.g. "no mayo". Sides: Potato salad, chicken salad, fries, and array of American and AZN chips. Online ordering and 3rd party delivery available, F O O D * Sisig Bolillo: House Sisig-Style Pig's Head, soy sauce, black pepper, yellow onion, lime, over easy egg, thai bird chili, mayo, house bolillo ($18) - Available Saturday - Monday only - Sells out so plan accordingly As someone who grew up eating sisig at fam events but rarely have it these days, this was such a treat. I love that they use traditional cuts for the sisig. A generous portion of meltingly soft gelatinous pig's head (jowl, ears, snout, etc.) is loaded into a bubbly, crackly baguette-bolillo hybrid. The rich, seasoned pig drippings and runny egg yolk soak into the bread without turning it soggy, while the savory soy seasoning, creamy mayo, and mild kick from the chilies make every bite more delicious. We could only finish half but the leftovers held up really well and can easily be revived in the air fryer. They provide a small wedge of lime but I like a lot more acidity to cut through the richness. Next time, I'm bringing a bottle of spiced vinegar! * Sichuan Hot Chicken: House Sichuan Spiced Taiwanese-style Fried Chicken w/ iceberg lettuce, crushed cucumber, cilantro, house sesame ginger vinaigrette, scallion, house honey mustard, house sesame bun ($18) - Mild or Spicy (picked spicy) A hapa baby, Taiwanese popcorn chicken meets Nashville hot chicken, the marinated and fried chicken thighs are layered into a toasted sesame seed studded bun (low key reminds me of roujiamo bread) - crunchy, hella juicy, and flavorful with a seriously spicy kick and numbing málà spice. The crisp lettuce, cucumber, and mayo adds a refreshing contrast, helping mellow out the heat while keeping each bite balanced. Make sure to have plenty of napkins on deck! * House Ramen Spiced Fries ($8) As a kid...who used to crush a bag of ramen, sprinkle the msg laced seasoning packet all over, and ate it as snack? Now think of this nostalgic umami bomb on freshly cooked fries. Enjoy! S E R V I C E Super friendly cashier who kindly brought our order outside to us. Overall, I really enjoyed the sandwiches at Ok's Deli and thought they did a great job paying homage to AZN classics while adding their own creative twists. I've had their Spicy Hog, steak with mushroom, a few Cubans, but the one that I always come back to is "The Balls" sandwich. First off, this sandwich is massive, so be sure that you come here on an empty stomach. These beef meatballs are seasoned to perfection and bursting with flavor. The balls are covered in their red sauce with provolone and Grana Padano, which gives it that nutty and salty flavor that pairs extremely well with the meatballs and baguette. All the juices and cheese just get soaked up to perfection. The baguette bread they use is supplied by La Farine, which is just a few meters away from each other. Just putting out there that La Farine is hands down one of the best bakeries in Oakland, so it makes sense that this sandwich would be so dang good. I'll be honest that I'm not a big fan of the chips or those chips in general and could be fine with just the sandwich. If you are going to have any sandwich to eat here first, I would highly recommend you try "The Balls" because I promise you will not be disappointed. I will always say that the dozen or so times I've been here, the staff are always so friendly, and the atmosphere is very down to earth.
