Go to CARMAX! It's a HORRIBLE place to get a car. Stuck on the rode at least 10 times! $10,000 more in repairs. There solution, go finance the repairs it's NORMAL maintenance. I'm almost 50 I've brought from small and big lots, NEVER experienced this. Small lot will at least do the repairs or trade the car in and let you get something else. Not these scam artists. They don't care if you die! Divorcing sonyes my credit was shot BUT THAT WAS STILL A HUGE MISTAKE! So now I'll have 2 car payments! DON'T GO HERE! CARMAX will help you BETTER!

Look ma! No pricing, on anything!

If you're looking for a car online, it helps if: 1) The salesperson who contacts acknowledges any emails you send them. In my case, I received multiple canned emails from the same person, with no acknowledgement of any of the criteria I was looking for in getting a car. Instead of any sort of online interaction, the primary focus here is to get you on the phone. 2) The person on the other end of the phone acknowledges the criteria if what you're looking for in a car. It felt like I was talking to a grunt whose only goal was to feed information into their sales system and to get you to come in. One, who I may add, was trying to get me to provide my credit information over the phone after I specifically said I was looking to pay for a car in cash. 3) Actually getting a list of vehicles that match criteria. Other dealerships let you browse cars online. They let you filter via criteria such as mileage, transmission, and most importantly, price. I realize that when it comes to things like price, this is negotiable. Still, there's no list price on ANYTHING on their site. Don't believe me? Go here: http://www.camachoauto.com/autos.php When the screen prompts you to sign up for their site, go to "Been Here Before" and put in blah@blah.com. Everything, and I mean, EVERYTHING here is crafted in a high-pressure way to get you into the dealership. I couldn't even get a price of anything on the phone. I needed to talk to the sales manager in person, apparently. Nice tactic, there. Since I got absolutely no useful information on the phone, I decided not to go in. I told the person on the other end to never mind. As a final insult, the human robot on the other end of the phone tries to solicit me for contact information of family and friends. I understand getting contact information of people who may be in the market for a car. But why, WHY would you ask that information from somebody who is already aggravated with you and decided NOT to even go to the dealership? ==== In a previous reply down below, you'll see "When a customer lives only a few minutes away we always prefer to have the customer come down so we can give them excellent customer service". Good customer service doesn't start at the car lot. It starts with giving a potential customer a quick way of seeing if there's anything interesting and competitive right off the bat. It's respecting your customer's time. I don't care if I live 5 minutes away, or two hours away. You're still wasting my time if you're replacing a fast, quick browsing experience with a mandatory auto visit. This isn't 1990 anymore. This place might be good for you if your credit is bad. For anybody has cash in hand, good credit, or is computer saavy, go elsewhere.

The check-in process has been smooth both times. Once I arrive, it doesn't take long for someone to come by, go over the service details with me, have me sign, and get the service started. Their waiting area is comfortable, which I always appreciate since I've brought my son both times. They also have a snack shop, a children's play area with a TV, and restrooms nearby, which makes the waiting experience much easier. The service itself has been quick, and the representatives do a good job of notifying you about recommended services for your car without making the process feel overwhelming. Payment is handled quickly as well, so the whole visit feels efficient from start to finish. The staff has also been warm, welcoming, accommodating, and extremely helpful both times I've been here. I sold my Toyota Tacoma to them after being told the process would be simple and that payment would be ready in about half an hour. Initially, everything went smoothly. They inspected the truck, finalized the offer, had me sign all paperwork, transferred ownership, and took possession of my vehicle. At the very end of the process, we were suddenly told the check would not be ready until the following evening and would need to be mailed unless we objected. This was never disclosed beforehand. We specifically explained that I needed the funds from the sale immediately in order to purchase another vehicle. After pushing back and explaining that we had been told payment would be ready shortly, they eventually came downstairs with a check. However, what they ALSO failed to disclose was that the check could not even be cashed for 24 hours because it would take that long to clear their own banking system. So to summarize: They took possession and ownership of my truck immediately, but I was left without access to the money for the vehicle I had just sold -- and none of this was communicated upfront. Had they been honest and transparent from the beginning about the timeline and banking delay, I could have planned accordingly. Instead, I wasted additional time driving an hour to the nearest Comerica Bank only to discover I still couldn't access my money. The lack of communication and transparency is beyond unacceptable.

First, I want to acknowledge Chanin in the service department. Throughout this long and frustrating process, she consistently followed up with me, sent updates via text, and was kind and professional. She handled herself very well during a difficult situation. Unfortunately, my experience with the service manager, Courtney, was completely unacceptable. When I was notified that my vehicle was ready and asked to pick it up before 6 PM, I arrived around 4 PM. I was told the rental needed to be inspected. I was informed there were "too many crumbs" in the vehicle and that although they do not wash cars, I would either need to clean it or be charged $250. I had the rental for nearly three months. I immediately took it to a car wash, had it washed and vacuumed thoroughly, and returned it. I was then told I would still be charged $250 because I had signed a contract stating no dogs were allowed in the vehicle. Let me be extremely clear: I never put a dog in that car. Not once. I own two dogs, and if a hair transferred from my shoe, that is possible -- but there were no dogs in that vehicle. If there had been, it would have smelled like one. There was no excessive hair, and the car had just been professionally vacuumed. I was told that regardless of condition, the contract stated if the car was "dirty" I would be charged $250. $250 is an excessive and unreasonable cleaning charge, especially after I had just cleaned the vehicle. While I stepped outside to document the rental's condition with photos, I returned inside and overheard the manager, Courtney, yelling inappropriate names about me and stating that I "shouldn't have my effing dogs in the car." She did not realize I had walked back in and could hear her. That level of unprofessionalism from someone in a management position is unacceptable. I sincerely hope there are cameras in that lobby so this behavior can be reviewed. To make matters worse, when my own Jeep was returned to me after nearly three months in their possession, it was given back to me in unacceptable condition -- dirty, with no gas, and not charged. Additionally, my GPS system that I personally pay for had been disconnected without my authorization and left that way. After nearly 2 1/2 to 3 months in their care, to have my vehicle returned in that condition -- while being pressured over a $250 cleaning fee -- is extremely concerning. Aside from already dealing with multiple issues with this vehicle -- including EV charging errors ("Issue Detected - Check External Charging Station") and battery-related recalls -- this experience has been exhausting. I will be escalating this matter to corporate, as I will not tolerate being disrespected and spoken about in that manner. This situation needs to be investigated thoroughly. I expected far better from Hunter's Dodge. It is extremely concerning that Dodge appears to delete negative reviews from their Google page instead of addressing legitimate customer complaints.

We came in specifically because Antelope Valley Chevrolet's own website advertised a clear price for the exact vehicle we wanted (2026 Chevrolet Traverse LT, same VIN/stock number as the listing we screenshot). The advertised price was around $38,231 with their posted discounts. In-store, the numbers they presented were nowhere close. Instead of honoring the advertised pricing or clearly explaining, in writing, which discounts we didn't qualify for, we were pushed into a payment-focused conversation while the real selling price stayed inflated. On top of that, the deal sheet included thousands in dealer-installed add-ons (Cilajet paint sealant, Ghost Shield door edge/door cups, and an ELO GPS/theft product). We stated clearly we did not want those items and asked for a buyer's order with the advertised selling price and standard TTL/doc only. We were met with delays, vague answers, and a lack of transparency. We repeatedly requested an itemized out-the-door breakdown and it felt like they were doing everything possible to avoid showing clean numbers. Financing was another major issue. Jess was prequalified through Capital One and we explicitly asked that our credit be run only through Capital One one time. Despite that, we later saw indications that additional credit checks were run. We have requested a copy of any signed credit authorization and a list of every lender our information was submitted to, because this is not what we agreed to. The worst part was the customer service from the manager, James Gonzolas. He was rude, repeatedly interrupted us, and wouldn't let us finish explaining what we were requesting (a transparent breakdown and adherence to their own advertised price). He told us he had "no obligation" to help because we didn't buy a car, called us rude, and escalated the interaction instead of solving the problem. That is not acceptable behavior for someone in a management role and it matched the overall tone of the experience. We left because we couldn't get a straightforward, honest deal that matched what brought us in the door. If you're considering this dealership, protect yourself: 1. Screenshot the exact online listing with VIN/stock number before you go 2. Demand the itemized buyer's order/out-the-door number in writing before discussing monthly payments 3. Put your credit instructions in writing (who can run it, how many times, and with which lender) Transparency and respect shouldn't be this hard. We won't be returning, and I can't recommend buying here based on this experience.

They would only trade me a car as I mentioned and the second car was even worse the engine light, as well as other lights all came on the 3rd day but after I received that car. I could not get ahold of them to return the car nor would they let me so I do not pay their excessive fees and they came and got the car. They then made up inflated charges to the tune of my whole down payment which is all the car is worth ($2000) and have the car and my money. By the way they change their business name often and move places of business as they are formerly known as Big Family Motors with horrible reviews. BEWARE - very unethical dealership…read more The General Manager, Nicholas Douglas, came off as the epitome of a sleazy, gaslighting used car salesman. Here's the backstory: Over the phone, the dealership's sales lead Antonio and I negotiated a price of $8,500 for a Mitsubishi Mirage. Antonio said he'd put the deal together and call me right back. A full day passed, and I never heard from him. (Red flag #1.) I called back in and spoke to Nicholas, who reneged on the $8,500 price (red flag #2), but said I could still buy the vehicle for $9,200. I agreed and drove 90 minutes to the dealership. When I got there, the car was missing several of its advertised features, including run flat tires, Bluetooth capability, and keyless entry. Were I to purchase all these features from a third party after the fact, they would cost up to $3,700. For the keyless entry, Nicholas said he could bring over a specialist to add in the feature for $300. When I asked if he'd take that $300 off the price of the car, he refused, saying I "already had a good deal." I reminded him that he had already raised the price by $700 from Antonio's quote, and that this was before I was aware the car was missing numerous features listed in their online listing. Nicholas said he wasn't responsible for the listing's content because I viewed it on CARFAX, and not on the official Valley Auto Center site, which had the "correct information." I subsequently pulled up the listing on his web site, which, not surprisingly, falsely stated the car is equipped with run flat tires, Bluetooth capability, and keyless entry. I have attached a screenshot of this. Nicholas then doubled down on the sleazy, saying, "I've been in the car business for eight years, and this is the first time a customer has ever had a problem with the fact a vehicle was missing some of the features we listed online." He was literally suggesting that every time he's had to tell a customer the car they came in to see didn't have all its advertised features, they took no issue with this. When I challenged Nicholas on making such a ludicrous claim, he doubled down and said, "It's true, I swear on my children's lives." (So gross.) When I asked him to confirm that some of the car's other advertised features were accurate, he sidestepped, and said, "Look, this is a good car and you're getting a good deal. If you don't want it, don't buy it." I didn't purchase the car, and will never be returning to this dealership.

Maybe pack snacks... and a map to a reputable Subaru dealer. My wife spent a week coordinating with a sales rep (Noe) about a specific vehicle. We confirmed the car, confirmed the appointment, confirmed the price was "negotiable," and committed most of our Saturday to drive 60 miles each way. You know -- normal things people do when they expect a dealership to be, well... honest. Am I the only one that finds it laughable that they chose "Trust" as part of the dealership name? Kinda like saying a cactus is cuddly! Here's how the dishonesty ramped up... minutes before our appointment (aka when we're basically pulling into the parking lot), we get a message: "Oh, the car isn't available for purchase yet -- it hasn't completed certification." Interesting timing, considering the car has been sitting in their inventory for over a month. Priorities I guess? But wait, the fun continues! We arrive, and suddenly Noe is nowhere to be found. Instead, we're handed off to another rep, Nathan Houston. Classic dealership relay race baton pass. Nathan was friendly enough while showing us the car, but when it came time to discuss price, the story changed so fast it gave us pro level whiplash! * The "negotiable" price? Suddenly not negotiable. ( I know shocking!) * The online price? Apparently the "absolute lowest"... except when they tried to quote us a higher price. * The explanation? Some mysterious documents claiming the dealership paid more than the advertised price (apparently they are a charity... disguised as a Subaru dealership). The convenient sales rep switch meant Houston could simply shrug and say he knew nothing about prior conversations. It felt less like buying a car and more like watching a live demonstration of "Bait & Switch 101." Or "Watching a masterclass in creative truth telling." Look, I get that dealerships still love the classic "Let me talk to my manager" routine. That's practically tradition. But the full bait-and-switch playbook in 2026? That's some retro dishonesty I didn't expect from a Subaru dealer. Given TAVS's already struggling online ratings, I'd hoped for better. Instead, we got a reminder that not all dealerships have moved past the old-school tactics. Bottom line: If you enjoy long drives, last-minute surprises, and pricing that changes depending on which salesperson you talk to -- TAVS might be your place. If you value transparency, honesty, and not wasting half your Saturday... look elsewhere. Don't take my word for it... check the VERIFIED reviews here.

I reached the location the next day, and no one showed up there. I then realized it was a BOT who arranged this meet up. AN AI who asked for ALL MY PERSONAL INFORMATION AND DATA PRETENDING TO BE HUMAN. Mind you I did not ask for this test drive, it was OFFERED TO ME. What is worse is Diamond Mazda had no idea about this, no human oversight of the AI and has no controls over these bots. I had to call them to inform and they proceeded to gaslight me.
