I went in to Camarillo Nails and Spa a few weeks ago for the first time, and came back today. My nails are even better this time around! I tried dip powder nails with Nai last time and now I'm hooked. My nails lasted 3 weeks despite constant hand washing at work. No chipping or nail breaking or polish lifting. The salon itself is very spacious, sanitary, and beautiful! No odors or fumes clogging up your nose. The massage chairs are great quality and very comfortable. The owner, Tina, is super friendly, funny, and so sweet. I go to Nai, who is very thorough, takes her time, and does a great job! Give them a try, you won't regret it. Friday was my second there's it. my first visit I had an appointment and it took about an hour and a half. I had a regular pedicure and a regular manicure. My pedicure lasted about two weeks. My manicure look great for a week. Second time I went was Friday night. And I got a regular manicure and a regular pedicure. I did not have an appointment. It took two and a half hours. Worst mani pedi I've ever had. They told me it would be about 15 mins, they seated me and the girl came over and started on my toes. The pedicure was mediocre, the bad part was that the polish came out so thin she had to do 3 coats and when I went out with friends 5 hours later, it was completely ruined. My manicure was rushed, and the paint on my nails was so terrible it was almost impressive. She didn't get down to the cuticle, but also stopped before the tip of the nail. She had me sit for about 5 mins, comes back and without checking my nails, she says they're dry. I paid (way too much for what I got) and drove away...only to realize that 4 of my nails were smudged and now the manicure is ruined. I had been there for 2 hours, I didn't have time to go back and fix it. Don't waste your time or your money. read more

I went in to get a mani pedi and they started on my toes within 20 minutes. Everything was going fine, but half way through the service the lady tells me she can't do my manicure today. There was only a couple people in the building so they weren't too busy, but other women walked in with no appointment and she basically gave them my spot for the nails. if I would've known that she was going to cancel on doing my nails, I would've went somewhere else that would do both. I really can't shake off how they look. I am unsatisfied with my experience and the finished product of my acrylic nails. They came out nowhere near close to how I wanted them / expected them to have looked. I called it out multiple times to the tech throughout the process. There were a few miscommunications that were able to be fixed. What didn't work out though was that I provided the shape and length that I specifically wanted. In the beginning it looked off and I asked "will this be the final shape?" because the nail shape was not similar to my reference. She explained to me that it would look exactly like the photo I had provided her - multiple times - when she had finished. But then proceeded to tell me afterwards (at the stage of the nails where you can't go back to undo the shape ) that it wasn't going to have the same shape at all -_- The polish wasn't applied evenly and the shape itself isn't nice. I was extremely patient when they went to do other people's nails. I was polite as well. It genuinely hurts to see money and time (on both the worker and customer) go down the drain when none of your expectations are met. ;/ I don't believe quality of work was really valued. They were expecting a tip which i was so happily going to give but there is absolutely no way that i'm paying even minimal money for something that hardly meets anyone's nail expectations Respectfully will not come back. The head lady was not tactful and I felt was rude to other customers. Took forever got there at 9:30 didn't leave until after 11:00am. The older man came up to me and asked me AGAIN if I had made an appointment, but I had already told him I did and he said I would be next after the girl that just came in.
