Unless you want solicitation phone calls 1-2 times a week, avoid this dealership. I got an oil change last month, and since then I have received SEVEN calls from Camelback Hyundai trying to sell me another car or come in for services I don't need. The first week I got a call at 7:30pm on Friday night. I told them to not solicit me again. After the second salesman called me a couple days later, I asked to speak to a manager. Troy said he would put my number on the do-not-call list (I never consented to solicitation calls to begin with). Since then, I have received more calls even though I spoke to a second manager about this problem. I just got a phone call from a woman with a rooster crowing loudly in the background trying to tell me I am in dire need of a particular service that I already declined and they will give me a discount if I book now. I hung up on her and called the dealership and spoke to a woman who claims she is putting me on the do-not-call list (third time is a charm?). I told her to inform whomever needs to hear it that I am going to write a review of this problem and if I get another contact for anything other than a recall issue, I will complain to the Hyundai corportation about being harassed by this dealership. In addition to this problem, when I was at the dealership for the oil change, a salesman was walking around the service area without a mask. This was weeks before the governor rescinded mask requirements. I really don't appreciate CH employees putting me at risk for COVID, that's just irresponsible. read more

I purchased a 2017 Veloster through Carvana and went in to get a replacement key fob and key. Apparently the battery was dead and I was unaware. The service guy helping me looked at me like I was stupid. I didn't realize that some buttons will still work while others don't have enough power with a dying battery. He did give me a free battery was was a d-bag in general. I did get my key cut and asked a few questions to the parts guy and he was pretty disinterested in what I had to say as well. Realistically I had a bad experience across the street with Showcase and VW and am just tired of these Berkshire Hathaway/Van Tuyl dealerships. They need to go because they suck at customer service and are shady with their practices. ....guess I'll drive out of my way to an unaffiliated realer just to get my service on my vehicle. read more

It's really hit or miss with the service here. One time I came to have my car serviced and I was really dissatisfied. What happened was I needed my oil changed, my tire pressure indicator light was on, and I needed to have my mileage confirmed for the Hyundai Reimbursement Program. Well, the only thing they ended up doing right was changing my oil! They totally forgot to confirm my mileage. And they checked my tire pressure and found that it had a slow leak from a nail in it -- yet they didn't fill the tire with air for me. Instead they told me they would order me a new tire, but it would take a few days for the tire to come in. They must've jiggled the nail around or something, because the slow leak turned into a "fast leak" and by the next day my tire was almost completely flat. I had to go fill it with air myself at the gas station and take it to Discount Tires. Mind you, I had been driving on this tire with the indicator light on for MONTHS, so I know it was something THEY did that made my tire leak air pressure faster. The next time I came back to have my mileage confirmed (again). They were prompt in helping me, I didn't even have to wait in the lobby. I just waited for about 10 minutes in my car and they got it done. Of course, it would've been nice if they had done it the first time I requested, and then I could've saved myself a second trip there. Oh well. read more

Cannot describe the regret we feel from buying here. Sales Department was poorly run and tried to take advantage of us. USAA had guaranteed pricing with them and they told us the car would be $3,800 more than advertised. After four hours, we finally got the car for the guaranteed price and paperwork certifying it through Hyundai. The Finance Manager repeatedly apologized for how we were treated. Turns out the car was NEVER certified and they had to take the car back for four days to get that done. The entire time, the Sales Manager was a complete jerk and treated us very poorly. The Service Manager stepped in and handled things for us. He is the sole reason we did not seek legal counsel, as the vehicle was sold to us with legal paperwork stating the vehicle had gone through a massive inspection and was Hyundai Certified...it was not. PLEASE avoid them if you are able. Read other reviews!! We had a terrible experience and are having routine service done at a different Hyundai dealership, which has been wonderful. read more

My husband and I were car shopping and were astounded by the lack of professionalism and pushy sales tactics at this location. They try to rush customers into bad decisions and to agree to overpriced deals. The salesperson was completely unprofessional and didn't have any knowledge of the car or anything, really. When it came time to discuss numbers it became a forced, pushy car sales 101, trying to get a signature guaranteeing to come back in 24 hours to purchase the vehicle. This location promises a gift card for test driving a car and when you send the code to the salesperson, they send an email asking you to test drive a car in California. And while I acknowledge attire isn't everything, maybe lose the stretch pants and flip-flops? It makes you look like you don't care about your customers or your job...though at least that's pretty accurate. read more

Took my Santa Fe in to see if the airbag was under recall as the airbag light was on. They came back with I needed to replace my steering column because of a squeak and my rack and pinion because of a clunky sound but they wouldn't elaborate further. I am truly surprised they have a two star rating. There must be some really generous people out there. read more

After spending all day emailing Mike Kimbrell from Camelback Hyundai. My family and I had an appointment to look at a car. One in particular, Mike stated multiple times in the email conversation that he had the car I wanted to look at. So we drove all the way to preview the car and when we arrived we were very displeased with how my family and I were treated at this dealership. I had an appointment with Mike and we arrive and I get handed over to another salesman who had no clue what I wanted, not only did we never see the car we were looking for but the dealership couldn't find any of the 3 cars that were on the website, nobody knew where the car was, then they said that the lot attendant had it and moved it. Then all of a sudden it was in the detail shop with a flat tire, then they said they had a different one across the street, but wait..They couldn't come up with that one either. We spent hours there and did not even see one car. I can see now why this dealership has a 2 star rating. DO NOT use this dealership I recommend ARROWHEAD HYUNDAI. Mike Kimbrell likes to respond in a rude manor once he states he was made "aware of the situation". This dealership is not only rude and dishonest they have no integrity. read more

I would give a zero if I can. Purchased a Tucson hybrid from this dealer. Maurice, the sales agent got us a deal and we signed the dotted line and since we are from out of state, I mailed in the title for our trade in vehicle. Maurice over promised and under delivered. He was optimistic about us getting the car the following day after we signed. Went to the dealership but no car was not available. Said it'll be the following day which was a Friday. Went there but was told by the manager Troy, that they are flying in a technician from out of state to fix vehicle because it did not pass inspection. They said for sure it will be Tuesday and we can pick up. At that point I was already having second thoughts about the vehicle which is not passing inspection and mind you this is a brand new vehicle 2022. The manager Troy wouldn't let us back out of the deal. Tuesday came, car is still not fixed. At this point we were given the option to back out and after much thought we ended up canceling the deal. You would think this is where our nightmare ended. I told Troy, Sawyer, and Anthony, all sales managers, to hang on to the title for my son to pick up. After several phone calls, I was told that the title was mailed. I asked for the tracking number, but they kept telling me that they will call back. Needless to say I did not get a call. The last person I spoke with was Anthony, who told me that the person in charge was not there that day and i shld call the ff day. Did I say he was rude? He was. By this time i've made a million calls just to get the tracking number. Today, i get a call first thing in the morning from Jessica, who is the lady from accounting who said that today was the first time she had found out the deal did not go through!!!!WOW! Those three sales managers I have spoken to were all LIARS. They Just told me things to get me off the phone!!!! Unbelievable!!! All this time the title of my vehicle was sitting on JESSICA's table. Not only this, it looks like they lost my trade in's vehicle' registration and to top it all they are holding my $3000 dollar deposit, when i have been told that credit was processed last week!!! WHAT A BUNCH OF CROOKS. Just bec the deal did not go through because they have a POORLY DESIGNED VEHICLE THAT WILL NOT PASS INSPECTION and out of no fault of my own this is how they treat you as a customer. Paul our Service Advisor is great. However, service dept is horrible. Sunroof broken, picked up vehicle, tested sunroof, only opened 3/4. Lens cover from back hatch left off (sloppy work). They took it back (after waiting weeks to get this done, now I had to wait another hour) to fix. A week later, due to the lighting, I noticed the whole headliner (which they had to remove twice) is filthy with fingerprints. So are several other areas they touched to repair. Headliner is a light fabric, not sure how to clean now! It's never been this dirty. Very sloppy irresponsible work from service department. read more

The initial Sales guys are great and personable. The sales managers and finance department deserve negative stars!! They offered me an initial ridiculous amount for my trade that was clearly more valuable because I am the original owner of my car and it has a history on carfax of all manufacturer recommended services. No matter I did not go thru with their offers only because I was treated so badly by their finance department and upper sales department. Upon my return to pick up my car, which i was test driving their car for the 3 day minimal time frame they alot you. Both parties eventually decided against our initial contract. When I returned to get my vehicle they returned it without my car license plate. I asked them where my car license plate was and was told the service manager handed it to me. Which was a blantant in your face LIE. They eventually could not find my plate so they printed me out an 5 day temporary and told me to go to MVD and report it stolen. Car dealerships are the root reason for all my trust issues. I went in this weekend and told the salesman my budget, really just looking for something reliable, doesn't need to be super fancy. Right away he said he could for sure get me out the door in an Elantra for what I'm looking to spend. Long story short, I found one that was perfect and was wanting to purchase asap. We go inside and he comes back with numbers $6,000 over what he guaranteed he could get?! Typical. Anyways, we walked out, we weren't willing to sit down there for hours trying to negotiate to get to the numbers he originally guaranteed. We got in my car and saw the finance manager following us wanting to talk, he got mad because my boyfriend didn't roll the window down fast enough and starting cussing us out, throwing his arms in the air and walked back inside. Uhmmm sorry jerk, my boyfriend didn't know my windows don't roll down :) There's a reason I'm looking to buy a new car Haha. Don't waste your time here, please. My fiancé came here to trade his two cars in and got quoted $4000 for a down payment for him trading in his car to put toward a 2020 Hyundai. A day later he got told to come in to finish signing papers and gets told a different number and now suddenly has to put $2200 down for a car he got told he had to put $0 for!! Apparently the paper he signed for putting 0 down magically "disappeared". Upon declining the deal and getting his old car back they then proceed to tell my fiancé they lost his license plate and will need to go to the DMV to get a new one. I put in an inquiry about a vehicle at around 10:00 AM. Between 10:30 and 14:30, I received 7 phone calls from the dealership - Two to my work phone, which I have no idea how they got. I'm looking for a vehicle, and I will go ANYWHERE besides this place. While we're at it, let's talk about the other horrid experience I had with this place, that I never pursued. I took my car in for an oil change in Dec of 2016. Made an appointment and everything. Arrived on time for my appointment, and was quoted 45 minutes for the work to be done. Two years ago I tried to buy a genesis coupe and instead of helping me they just wanted to get the deal and really screw me over, I remember one of the sales managers slammed a door in my face and the famous dealer tactic of keeping your keys so you won't leave, I'm being dead serious about this, I was young and didn't know how impactful these reviews are but stay away from this place I hope they shut this place down and never hire any of those representatives anywhere else because they honestly don't know anything about customer service or care, oh by the way I received one of those "match and you win" flyers, I know what's a scam and this definitely was, just don't waste your time with these guys This is the reason I'm leaving this review now, because you still try to contact us with these bogus deals and fake flyers, I don't want to hear from you guys.
