If you work with Jose Delgado or David Cobb take everything they say with a grain of freaking SALT. We were told everything was finalized and approved. David said he needed some things for "formality for the guys upstairs" we provided documentation. Saturday we were harassed by Jose, David and a few other people with non stop calls. We provided BANK STATEMENTS and still were denied we pull in 7-12k a month together. We told Jose we had a joint bank accounts that we shared one and he said that's fine. We told Jose we cashed most of our checks and he said that's fine. Yet come Saturday/sunday it was ALL an issue and we had to return our vehicle today on Sunday. I was searching for a new (used car) and came across a nice Mercedes at this dealership. Because I paid cash for my last two cars and don't believe in using credit cards, I was seen as a high risk borrower. I was presented with an insanely high interest rate of 21.5%. When I talked to their in house lending team, I told them I would start by getting one or two credit cards to make small purchases to build my credit before purchasing a vehicle with a loan. They stated "Oh that's an easy fix. Accept our terms and pay on time for 6 months and it will be easy to refinance at that time". Well, I tried and tried to get the car refinanced, only to be denied over and over again. Apparently it sends out red flags for anyone that would accept an insanely high interest rate of 21.5% to begin with. Three years later, I have paid more than $21,000 for this 12 year old car and still owe over 19k for a car that is now worth about 14k. At the current loan rate, I'd be paying another 30k over another 4 years of payments. It's a trap that cannot seem to be remedied. Even ChatGPT suggests I'd be better off defaulting than continuing to pay over 50k total for a car that is depreciating daily. So guess what Earnhardt, I'm going to do my best to let people know how your in house lending team lied to me and how you did your best to make me miserable. I've removed your cheap license plate frame with your advertising from the car and have thrown the frame in the dumpster. I'm now waiting for the lender to come and repossess the almost worthless car. Thanks for nothing. You should be ashamed of yourselves. You're no better than the shady used car lots strewn across the Valley. Thank goodness I kept my old car that I paid cash for and it honestly runs better than that Mercedes. read more

Extremely Disappointed - Lack of Transparency and Integrity I had a confirmed appointment with Earnhardt Lexus to view and purchase a Jeep, scheduled in advance and revised the morning of my visit. I was traveling from Tucson--over two hours away--and had already secured financing with the intention of completing the purchase that day. While en route, I was informed via email that the vehicle was being sold to someone else who had arrived earlier. At no point was I told that the vehicle might not be available or that there were competing appointments. Had I been given that information up front, I could have avoided wasting over five hours of my time and a tank of gas. This experience reflects a serious lack of professionalism and customer care. Appointments should be honored, especially when they involve serious buyers who have taken steps to finance and travel long distances. I would never treat my own clients this way. My wife and I have had nothing but great experiences at this dealership and with Lexus in general. Our original service rep, Tom Miller was fantastic and our new one, Mike Herrera, who replaced him after Tom retired is as well. As my wife and I split our time between LA and Phoenix at the moment we drive a lot. Our NX had a check engine light today and Mike was able to squeeze us in, diagnose the problem, and get our car repaired under warranty before the end of the day so we could safely drive home the next. You can tell he actually cares vs is someone just doing a job for a check. Speaking of Lexus quality and reliability, I can't say enough nice things. Our extended warranty has more than paid for itself and unlike many aftermarket ones actually covers pretty much everything not a hose, belt, trim piece, etc. Don't expect that from Mercedes or BMW. I know from experience. The warranty will be ending soon and we plan on buying a new Lexus as my wife loves the new RX Hybrids. Point is, there will always be a Lexus in our driveway and when we are in Phoenix, will service it at Earnhardt with Mike. BTW they do a much better job on brakes, oil, etc. than places like Jiffy Lube, Pep Boys, etc. Definitely worth the cost premium to bring the car here. read more

I sedomly enjoy going to a car dealership but not at Earnhardt. I did not buy my Lexus here but I do get it serviced here and I have only had a positive experience. I ran over a latex permanent paint can and they were able to get everything out for the cost of a detail. They didn't try to upsell me on more than that. I then got a scratch on my car but also needed a oil change. I went and got an oil change and my cabin air filters replaced and they touched up my scratch for free (i asked them just to make it less noticeable and that's what they did, nothing perfect but good enough for me). They told me I needed new tires but were so understanding when I said their tires were out of my price range and never argued further. They also always have loaners available complimentary which is fantastic. I will absolutely be buying my next Lexus here and won't hesitate to get service work done here either. This place is located on the North side of Camelback between 7th St and 8th St. We went there to check out a used Lexus. We got Angel who said he was a senior salesperson who worked there for more than 20 years. With 20 years of experience, you need to be able to read the room. Within 5 minutes I knew this was not going to work out. He was very condescending from the outset. We asked about some of the ventilation ducts and his response was "they are in all cars, the only reason why you notice it today is because you are looking at a new car." We have an older Lexus of the same model and it actually did not have this duct. We asked about the AC conditioning and his response was "its a 110 degrees outside why do you think its not cold?" We actually have test drove many cars including one with a dying battery and the AC worked just fine in 110-118 degree weather. Needless to say the discussion of price of the car went worse. No deal here but we did get a better deal on newer car at another dealership. read more

Yes they have free ice cream in the lobby but none of the prices online match.. not only that they don't list any of the dealer markups on their price sheets until they build the deal.. for instance.. the car I wanted hadn't even arrived yet but they already added all these dealer items to the bill that haven't even been installed yet. The tint they charge for is more than the ceramic tint I covered my entire Tesla in (which is basically all glass).. the website brags about their transparent monogram program but it's anything but.. stay far away from this dealership. read more

I bought an RX here in 2020. Every aspect of service and warranty has been great. Also, the RX has been excellent. I did not know how much I would appreciate the front seats until I came down with severe pain due to a spinal disc problem. I must recline while my wife takes me to doctor and therapy visits. It was obvious the employee had no interest in helping me claiming there were no cars within my price range even though online it showed multiple options. He apologized for the hectic back and forth, agreed to my trade in pricing, and also agreed to waive the add-ons AND up-charge on Msrp. I was shocked. Very dope and unexpected. The experience in the F&I room was also VERY expeditious. Finance Director Cleva didnt pressure me for any warranties for an hour, like most would.
