Camelback Moving recently helped my wife and I with our recent move. The movers showed up during the window of time I selected. The movers did a great job and were very nice. There was a stubborn desk that couldn't be moved from a room. One of the movers helped me break down the desk to load on the truck. Upon delivery, he helped put the desk back together. A very nice touch. The cost of the moving services was very reasonable. The communication process from start to end was very professional. I've had other experiences that pale in comparison to the customer service I received with Camelback. When I move again (hopefully not for awhile), I will be contacting Camelback again to assist in my move! read more

I called Camelback Moving after reading all the reviews here, and I'm glad I did. The prices were quite reasonable ($65/hour). What I liked best was that there were no "hidden charges" for anything, e.g., long walks, staircases, and so on. You just pay a fixed rate for two people working very hard. This is my second time using this company and I can honestly say I don't even need to look for other companies to use in the future. The two times I have used them, they have always been early or right on time, the movers were always professional and especially thorough to make sure everything was loaded and moved. The second time using them I also had them pack my kitchen and they took extreme care for all of my items, not just the fragile ones which was well beyond my expectations. The phone staff is quick, could be a little more personable when talking to them; they always seem rushed. But based on the moving experience on moving day, this company definitely deserves every bit of "the best in the valley" award they talk about. read more

I highly recommend Camelback Moving. Rarely do I give a 5-star rating but our moving experience deserves top-of-the-line marks. We used Camelback Moving for both packing and moving. We moved from Ahwatukee to Scottsdale two weeks ago from a house we had lived in for 25 years. In other words we had lots of stuff! Three packers showed up on day 1 and worked hard for about 8 hours. Since local movers, including Camelback, charge by the hour, one doesn't want to pay for guys going outside to have a smoke or take a break. They didn't take a break! By the end of the day, all of our "treasures" were in boxes. Day 2, we had six men and two trucks arrive at our home. They loaded all of the contents of our house drove to Scottsdale and unloaded the boxes into rooms as directed by us. We bought lunch for the guys and they stopped the meter. In other words, they did not charge us while they took time to eat. To date I have not found a single item that was damaged or broken in the move. To summarize, Camelback delivered exactly the number of people promised, they showed up when promised and they worked hard. If I'm every crazy enough to move again I will call these folks! read more

Our Interstate move went smoothly and I attribute it to the Foreman of our move Zac. Zac was professional and passionate about his job to move all of our belongings safely and without damage. His crew Juan B. and Mike G. were also very polite and serious about their work to get our stuff from Point A to Point B with minimal hassle. They were also very nice. Not only were they always on time, but they were early. The communication was great since the move lasted a few days I could always reach Zac if needed and he kept me updated. I had to join Yelp just to write a review for Camelback Moving Inc. Yes, they are that good! I read reviews first at yelp and decided to go with Camelback Moving Inc. based on the reviews and also a suggestion from my mother who knows the owner and said he is a great guy. The movers arrived right on time, and got to work quickly. They were awesome. They wrapped our antiques with extra care and got everything packed up safely and quickly. One of the movers even grabbed his tools to fix a wobbly leg on my jewelry stand. I couldn't believe it. When we arrived at the new house, they put everything together and even got our sleigh bed more secure than my husband had in our old place. They moved some akward heavy pieces and treated everything as if it was priceless...from my favorite rocking chair in our toddler's room to our 50" flat screen tv. Their motto is something like: Preserving Sanity One Move at a Time It is true! I came in to work today and everyone commented on how refreshed I look after such a stressful move. Better late than never - I chose this company based on other Yelp reviews that I'd read for my move in June, 2011. I was moving from Ahwatukee to Downtown Phoenix, and besides having a few antique pieces, I also have a really old piano. The people at Camelback were professional, knowledgeable and answered every question. They came out to assess my furniture, took measurements and scheduled my move exactly as I requested it. On the day of the move, they showed up promptly, worked VERY fast, were clean and very careful with my stuff. Everything was wrapped, everything was taken care of as if it was their own. Once we got to my new place, they unpacked and CLEANED as fast as they'd packed! The movers were really nice and easy to get along with as well. The scheduling was straight forward, and my phone call was promptly followed-up with an email with additional details. 48 hours in advance I received a call to confirm the appointment. As expected, we received a call the day-of with about 40 minutes advanced notice. The crew was professional, polite, careful, and worked hard. For 1.5 hours they didn't take any rest. Not only was the quote and scheduling process super easy and straight forward compared to other places I called but the entire service was beyond expectations. Juan B. and Damon showed up a little early but they called me several times to communicate where they were at with their earlier appointment and even once they arrived we were still scrambling to put the last few boxes together but they got straight to work. I really appreciated that I could easily tell them what we needed and they got to it so I could finish packing the last 3 boxes of stuff. They wrapped all our furniture so it was incredibly secure and safe from any damage, overall the entire process was fascinatingly efficient. Their two men and a truck showed up on time and got to work immediately. They completely filled a 24' truck in four hours. They drove straight to our storage facility without even stopping for lunch! After arriving at our storage unit they skilfully packed the entire load into a 10' x 10' space. When it came time to pay the bill, we were pleased to find that we actually owed less than what was originally quoted. This is by far the best move we have ever had.
