Short on manners and good on ingredients, the staff is screwing it up. After visiting a few times, I understand how the owners are providing great ingredients but the staff becomes lazy. We ordered a turkey sandwich and chicken salad. The turkey was fresh and chilled, tomatoes ripe, lettuce crisp. But the thing was constructed by a 3-year-old. All of the small amount turkey was in the middle, bread not toasted nor was it an option, too few tomatoes and the lettuce ran out every side. Please spread the mayo out on the slices to the edges with no big clumps to surprise me and get on my hands a shirt when I bite. The ambience, cleanliness, ingredients, menu, and variety were all good, more than acceptable for Gallup, NM. The staff needs to be monitored and accountable to a decent level of service, professionalism, proficiency, and common courtesy. Be nice and quick guys. Don't make me spend more time in downtown Gallup than I must. read more

After living in Gallup for a few years now, Camille's has become a top choice because it is one of the few restaurants that serves good salads. I love the Cafe chicken salad salad. I also enjoy the pepperoni flatbread and cafe chicken salad sandwich. I do enjoy the Breakfast Sammy (eggs, ham or bacon, with cheese on a muffin). They have tasty lemon bars, cheesecake, brownies, and carrot cake. Overall, you can find something tasty and healthy on the menu. read more

We stopped by here on our drive from California to Texas. Healthy and refreshing options for a long drive. And a pleasant staff. It was good food at a quick stop when I was passing through Gallup. The chicken Panini I had was of modest size, which was fine with me, and had very good flavor. The salad greens on the plate looked good, but I thought the syrupy red dressing was kind of weird. The young people working there obviously had some customer service training. When driving through New Mexico we were hungry and wanted a non-fast food option. So turning to Yelp we found Camille's! I got a strawberry coconut smoothie and one of the breakfast sandwiches. The smoothie came out first and was super good!! I liked that there were actual pieces if coconut in it!! The breakfast sandwich was also good. Fresh, fast, and delicious! We stopped here on a road trip and were delighted to find healthy, fresh food, a varied menu, friendly fast service, and attention to safety protocols. The kids were very happy with their kids' meals (banana wrap and PB&J sandwich), and my husband and I both enjoyed our food as well (Thai chicken and salad and chicken salad sandwich). Not much going on here. In terms of coffee and food. Has kinda a Qudoba, Cosi feel. However, this place does have its advantages. Its a nice spot of you're looking for a spot with some nice booths to grab a coffee and read. They have a parking lot thats adjacent to the business and a coffee is $2. Restrooms are clean. It was ok. Not great not terrible. Just ok. After reading the reviews we were excited to try Camille's. My Thai wrap had hardly any chicken or sauce but a ton of lettuce. For $8 I would expect more than lettuce. My husband had the Tex Mex club wrap. He said the same. It was ok. I realized after we left, it was take out, that I was charged extra for avocado and didn't receive it in my wrap. My daughter asked for no tomato's and she got them anyway. Looking for healthy food choices and Camilles was recommended. Nice find. Accommodating and nice folks. Asian salad for me, without crispy noodles. Chicken pecan salad for partner and a hot tomato bisque soup. We enjoyed and tried the next morning for breakfast. Scramble is choice is a meat, 4 veggies and cheese. Asked if we could do no meat and 5 veggies, no problem. Dish comes with bowl of fresh fruits and toast or English muffin. Very disappointed. We were traveling from CA to NM and back. Stopped here on way and loved it. We planned to stop for smoothies on way back. Website, yelp, and Google all say you open at 9a on Sunday. I got here at 945a. Your door was unlocked. The girls wirking immediately said you are closed. I asked if I could at least use the restroom (i am pregnant by the way) and they just said "we're closed." They did not go lock the door behind me so they obviously weren't worried about security. They didn't even say sorry we didn't realize door was open or anything. If you want to change your hours fine, but change what you post, keep your doors locked when you aren't open, and train your staff to have better customer service. There was truly no reason I couldn't use the restroom and wait 15 min for you to open. Basically added 20 min to my road trip for nothing read more

On my way to Albuqueque, I always try to stop here. The smoothies are a bit on the sweet side with the honey, but still better than most. We usually get either a pizza (Zorba the Greek or Super Veggie), a wrap or sandwich. The wraps are good and great on-the-go meals. The sandwiches are better for a sit down meal. The sandwiches are good and generously made, but we really look forward to the mixed berry tart. We've been disappointed when they are out (although they do have an apple one which is good as well). Their desserts are made with quality ingredients and little filler so they are not overly sweet to make up for lack of fruit (or chocolate for the cake). The service is always good and pleasant and the restrooms are clean. Stopped in for dinner along a road trip. We had to drive through an ugly part of town to get to it's location in the historical downtown. It was the evening of 03/03/17 and the young man at the register was beyond kind! He was such a great young man. I was so hungry and bummed when he mentioned they were out of tuna this Friday night. He stayed positive and check with the kitchen who had enough for one salad or sandwich. He was so pleasant! The food was fresh and delicious! The restaurant is so clean and quaint. We checked into a hotel around 8pm and we were starving! I didn't want any fast food junk so started to go on Yelp. Found Camille's to be a few miles away and the menu looked appetizing. Ordered a Chicken Caesar Wrap, Camille's Club, a Panini Italian Roast beef, and a Strawberry Breeze and Peach Paradise Smoothies. The meal hit the spot for us! Their menu is diverse and looked like a great option for fresh food. The overall consensus in our group was that the food was extremely mediocre. We ordered a turkey sandwich on a pretzel bun. The turkey seemed to be low-end processed deli meat, some cheese and nothing else. If it wasn't for the pretzel bun (which was tasty) then I would have thought I was eating airplane food. Sandwich was served with a handful of Santitas chips...meh. My daughter ordered an egg scramble that was pretty good because it "seemed like real eggs". Internet cafe with good coffee, food and friendly staff. I came across this place while visiting Downtown Gallup for work and found it a refreshing update from the last decade I was here. Service: Granted it wasn't crowded at all when I came by but still the staff was friendly and quick to serve. The free internet also made it very helpful for getting some work done between meetings. Food: I decided on a breakfast muffin with egg, ham and cheese with coffee and water. Along with being tasty, I especially liked it being freshly made not pre-made and warmed up.
