This is my second time coming to Camino Coffee and they do not disappoint. First off the service was awesome on both occasions, as you are greeted promptly as you enter. You're always asked if you have any questions before you order which is super nice if you aren't sure what you're going to order. I tried the cardamom fig cappuccino (winter special), hot mocha and ice almond milk latte. The cappuccino was so delicious, though I didn't taste the fig as much as the cardamom it was still a super well balanced cappuccino. The mocha wasn't to sweet, which I enjoy because the espresso still comes through and you can taste the rich chocolate. Lastly, the almond milk latte was really smooth, you can tell they use great quality almond milk. Food wise I got the buttered croissant and two different cookies from Bake That Dough (which they sell inside to the left of the register when you walk in). The buttered croissant was incredibly flaky and buttery. It paired so well with my cappuccino and I look forward to my next. The cookies were so cute and perfectly paired with the coffee drinks as well. Overall great experience, I am excited to try their other baked goodies and fun beverages. read more

I have been coming here a couple of times per month on a Saturday for a meet up with a family member. The building and seating is NOT fancy and it does get a bit crowded on the weekends. There is NO drive through. It is an old gas station converted into a coffee shop. The parking is scant and right next to the building but plentiful just across the side street for the train and bus stations. What this place does have is CHARACTER and a laid back vibe I don't seem to find in chain coffee shops. The service is top notch, the prices reasonable, and the coffee is excellent. You are called to the counter when your order is ready. There are some nice looking pastries available (I haven't tried any yet). There is a retro record player and some vinyl records, but there has never been any music playing there when I am there. Discovered this beautiful Camino Coffee in Gilroy. It's situated near downtown and opposite Gilroy Caltrain (gas station turned into a coffee shop). They have indoor and outdoor seating. We got the winter special drinks - Cardamom Fig Cappuccino and Gingerbread Chai, both were amazing. Service was quick too, ambience is great. Highly recommend it, give it a try! read more

Besides the awful interaction with one employee, I really like this cafe. It has charm and good coffee. I feel it can be inconsistent, sometimes more bold than others but it's ok as pricing is still fair. Inside has comfortable seating, a lot of cafes cheap out with metal stools, they do not here! As for the employee that took our order. No greeting, no smile, and worst of all, no thank you after payment. He was wearing a Santa Cruz brown sweater, was grumpy and should not be interacting with customers. Everyone else who we have interacted with has been great. read more

searched "matcha gilroy" on the way to Monterey, and Camino Coffee was the first spot to pop up with 4.5+ star reviews -- and I'm impressed! Absolutely love the design and atmosphere of this coffee shop! I stop by almost every week since I'm particular about my coffee, and I've always enjoyed the service and quality beans they use. Ordered a mocha latte in-house today--it was ready in minutes, hot, and had the perfect balance of sweetness (I'm not a fan of overly chocolatey ones). For example got a cold brew with strawberry foam and a seasonal hot latte with home made sage syrup. It was really tasty without it being overly sweet. I've visited this coffee shop a few times, and what I love the most about it is the vibe. It is a renovated gas station, and every time I come here the people are so friendly. They have a record player in the corner where the employees play from their own collections. It seems like a great spot to sit and enjoy a coffee while working. The coffee itself is very good. Last time I went I ordered the seasonal special miso caramel latte with housemade macadamia nut milk. The flavor was very subtle, I don't think I would get it again. One thing to note about this place is that they only serve one size of drink (depending on what the drink is). Sometimes you want an extra large cup of coffee to last you the entire day, but Camino doesn't serve large cups. They do serve some tasty looking pastries, but unfortunately nothing gluten-free so I couldn't try one. I'd come here again when I'm feeling like a small coffee will be enough! read more

This cafe is super cute, bright, and spacious. The baristas are friendly, and the coffee is decent. The only minor drawback is parking. There's street parking and a Caltrain lot across the way, which isn't too bad, but I wish it were a bit more convenient. They also sell merch, coffee beans, cookies, and other baked goodies! Stopped by here otw to Monterey. Really new place. Lots of sunlight, plenty of seating inside and outside. We came on a Thursday morning around 10am ish. There are also plenty of outlets for you to charge your devices. We got the pistachio coffee which was not that great. Just tastes straight up like syrup and the coffee wasn't there. The syrup was really strong. At first sip we thought it was fine, but as we drank it more, we didn't like it. If we were to chill inside the store a bit more, we wouldve asked for a different drink or have it remade with less syrup. Aside from that, great service and ambiance. New coffee shop in Gilroy!? Had to check them out!! We arrived at 10:15 AM on a Sunday. It got pretty busy during the time we were there. When it's busy, it gets pretty loud inside. The inside is very clean with a couple tables and seating area. They also have a couple tables outside! I love the plants everywhere:) There are 3 parking spaces in their private lot, but there's tons of parking across the street. The coffee comes in a small 12oz size. If you're a fan of craft coffee, come check them out! If you're more into the flavored and blended drinks, this is not your spot! Super cute coffee shop at the end of downtown Gilroy. The shop was very clean and aesthetically looked great, and the staff was extremely friendly. I ordered just a regular vanilla latte. They don't really have sizes you can order, size of the cup is based on what type of drink you order was my understanding, and the cups were sturdy and well insulated. Wait time wasn't long on a Saturday morning, the staff was very quick. There was a good amount of foot traffic but I only had to wait about 5 minutes (or less) for my drink. I'll have to come back and try some other drink options. Parking was tough, the immediate lot is quite small and awkward, but there are a lot of options downtown. Hidden gem in Gilroy Went here with my boyfriend and we both got lattes (his with whole milk, mine with oat). The barista did a great job- the flavor and consistency of the foam was perfect. We also ordered a croissant and coffee cake (I think). The pastries are sooo delicious, fresh, and huge. They were so filling, we could barely finish them! I like the straightforward, no nonsense menu which makes ordering a breeze. The simplicity and airiness inside the cafe makes it feel relaxing (although it can be slightly loud for studying/working if you get distracted easily). Parking was a breeze, and there's a food truck right next to the lot. Not sure if it's part of the cafe since it has a different name, but it's conveniently placed! I saw a lot of people order from the truck and then eat at the cafe while drinking coffee, so you have options if you don't want a pastry. I wish we had more places like this in Gilroy! read more

After continued visits to this business, I am no longer seeing the homemade vanilla bean syrup I used to enjoy which is unfortunate. However what bothers me most is the tall white male often taking orders because he urgently needs some customer service training. A basic greeting or a "what can I get for you" would be a huge upgrade but he just stands there with an awkward expression and the whole interaction is unpleasant. This has been my experience with him on multiple occasions so I retract my previous recommendation. I will not support a business that doesn't put effort into welcoming customers. read more

This is a review posted to IG from back in March of 2024: I've been ranting the past few years that Gilroy NEEDS a new age coffee shop just like this one! So happy to welcome it to the south county community. I work a lot of mornings in Gilroy and been dyiiiiing to try Camino Coffee and it was a perfect treat after being out in the pouring rain! Service was so sweet. My coffee was delish, and I had a few locally made cookies they had for sale. The seasonal bevvies weren't up my alley this time, so I stuck with my go-to (Vanilla Latte) but I'll have to check back soon if anything changes. I want to stop by soon for lunch and coffee because the @lapatronacmx food truck is parked right outside! WiFi is a little slow, and they could use some sound deafening pads (it gets really loud) so may or may not be a great place to work remote from, but everything else 10/10. Went back in summer of 2024, and had THE BEST matcha beverage I've ever had in my life. Iced Pineapple matcha latte. Please please please bring this back in warmer weather. read more

YAY for cute new local coffee shops! This is my second visit to Camino and both times I rode my bike over, ordered my coffee and sat a few hours while I got some work done and have decided to make this a weekly thing from now on. The coffee is delightful and the service superb. Both times the servers have provided friendly and prompt service with each time I've asked for their ideas based on what I'm feeling and they deliver. Today was a sweet vanilla cold brew. They've got a nice collection of vinyls and keep the record player on switching up the vibe every once in a while to keep it lively but comfortable. Not as impressed as I thought I would be. The area around the building is blocked off so the parking is not that great. They have a Very basic menu. They ran out of vanilla syrup. Although I like the retro theme they have going on, unfortunately I do NOT think I'll be back. I do like their cute little cookies they have for sale with their silly names, it made me giggle. The capuchino was not aesthetically pleasing it was in a cup that was too big so it appeared used. The taste was below average. If they spice up the menu and add more flavor I will be back. read more

After hearing about this new coffe shop on next door I had to give this place a try.me and my buddy decided to get a cup a coffe this place is nice and clean. I ordered a cappuccino with oak milk and my buddy had a decaf drip. The coffe is really good and I now found my new coffe spot at home in gilroy. I'm tired of all these Starbucks in every block. I support small family owned bussiness over corporations. The out door seating was cool .
