I've had dogs forever, but this is my first experience with doggie day care. Our first exposure (and reason for coming) was to meet with Virginia and arrange training for our 18 month Giant Schnauzer, Grace. I've always trained my own dogs, but Grace is a rescue with some confidence issues, and LOTS of energy and smarts. Virginia was very warm, knowledgeable,and instills confidence that we will have a happy result. Beyond that, I've been most impressed with ALL the Camp Bow Wow staff. The very first day, they recognized me and knew my dog when I returned to pick up Grace. Several days later, when I returned for our second visit, I was also recognized and they called Grace by name. I like the fact that I can drop my dog off without notice, she has flexibility in the length of stay. Camp Bow Wow is very clean, there is always someone with the dogs, I can peek in at any time via web cam, and I've already spoken about the great staff. I thought the price was reasonable, especially with the ability to save more with packages. Also, I get the impression the dogs are constantly evaluated and separated into compatible groups. I don't quite understand the scheme, but I believe that is more because I didn't ask. It might be nice to add a "roster" to see where your dog is or to have brief description of different groups. I thought I lost her when she was moved from her customary Group 1 to Group 4, but again, this is minor, and I am comfortable with the Camp Counselor's decisions so far. Grace has come back pleasantly tired, seems more attentive and relaxed, not stressed....however, after 2 weeks of full time day care and training, she is enjoying it more and more and NOT TIRED AT ALL! (It's pretty difficult to tire out a young Giant Schnauzer. I am very excited and looking forward to work with Virginia for more complete training. read more

Very poor and rude customer service. I scheduled appointment for grooming my Newfoundland at 10 AM on Wednesday at Blue Ash location. I filed all applications. Ask my vet for proof of vaccination. Take my day off. They did not communicate to me till I arrived. Then their customer service representative told me that groomer is unavailable. When I ask why they did not call or send me an email, CSR responded that she was so busy for that and she can reschedule my dog appointment for other day with the same groomer ( I asked is it other groomer would be available, CSR told that NO), but she is not sure the groomer accept my dog anyway. I wrote that my dog is not aggressive but does not like to be groomed and may tried to bite tools if it will be painful for her. I understand that the groomer may deny to groom my dog but without even not seen her or try to groom, how CSR can respond such way. Why they did not cancelled appointment before. They have 2 weeks ahead to communicate with me. It was my first and last time when I visit this location. read more

Camp Bow Wow is a wonderful place to board your dog. They are committed to giving your pet the very best care and attention. They clearly love dogs and enjoy being with them. They greet me and my pet with warmth and friendliness and are geniunely happy to see my pet arrive. They know him well and enjoy talking to me about his "adventures" at camp. Last summer we were out of the country for an extended period of time and our pet stayed at CBW most of the summer. He had a wonderful time and received excellent care. They were very attuned to his needs and I felt completely comfortable with his extended stay. In addition, the facility is clean and well run. Been using Camp bow wow for about 3 years and they are amazing. They are not afraid of different breeds and will speak up for my dobie when other people are scared. I'm a dog groomer and one of the greatest compliments I ever got was how amazing it was that I remembered someone's dog even after I had not seen them for months. And I say the same for the staff at camp bow wow. After not being all winter they still remembered sarge and were very welcoming to us. I know sarge loves it there he gets excited when we mention camp and can't wait to get in the doors!! Love this place will always go here. read more

I recently relocated to Cinci and was nervous with how my dog would adapt - all of the workers immediately put me at ease and my dog fell in love with camp! She does Circuit Training with the onsite trainer, Susan (WHO IS AMAZING!), to give her some one on one attention and a quick break from all of her friends. She looks forward to her sessions, and I even get short videos during the day to see what she is working on. I can't say enough good things about this staff and facility. read more

During the outbreak of the canine flu and kennel cough in our area, you were proactive and closed to help curb any further outbreak. This shows the true concern you have for the campers and their families. I know that making a profit is one of the reasons to be in business but to fore go making money to ensure the health and well being of the campers, is truly commendable. Friendly competent staff, professional grooming, supervised day care, clean facility! Dogs are evaluated thoroughly before mixing in day care areas. While grooming, Rachel noticed my dog had a tumor like growth and had the assistant vet take a look. My dog pulled a back muscle and staff was very conscientious when grooming and watching in day care. I would definately recommend Camp Bow Wow as a safe haven for your dog! read more

This places is outstanding. Everyone seems very committed to the health and well-being of the campers. The trainer Susan is amazing and all the staff are very respectful and friendly. An exhausted coonhound is hard to come across, but she is exhausted every day. The change in her demeanor between the day we brought her home from the SPCA to now is spectacular. Pricey? Probably. It is convenient and the staff is awesome. The know the dogs by name when they arrive. Bailey absolutely loves to go there. They offer daycare as well as boarding, spa services and training. Camp Bow Wow provides a fun and safe environment for my dog to play while I'm at work. The staff is always so friendly and knows my dog by name. My dog loves going to camp, and gets so excited any time we ask if he wants to go! He always comes home worn out. The boarding services are great too! Love, love, love the staff! So friendly and eased my mind about leaving my fur-baby for the first time (and he's 4yrs old). Camp Bow Wow is the best! The staff is excellent and take great care of my lil guy! I love the convenience of the online reservations and I love being able check in on my lil guy during the day with the video feed from the play rooms. My German Shepherd spends around 2 days (sometimes more) a month at Camp Bow Wow. When I am on vacation, my dog sitter takes her there during the day and picks her up after work. We had a great boarding experience with our eleven year old Vizsla. She came home tired after a week. After resting up, her spirit and energy are improved.
