This place is amazing! I needed to extend one day and called before I arrived, it was easy to get ahold of someone who made the change within seconds. The sites are all very nice and have good privacy foliage. The place is clean, very well kept. It's quiet at night. The beach is STUNNING!!! Honestly I can't think of one negative thing to say.

Beautiful beach and the water is spectacular. Yet to get into the beach the distance is sand as you would expect but it is not compact so hard to walk and pull a cart through. Nice location however it takes a lot of work to go to and from the beach. You can drive to the beach to drop off beach equipment but cannot park there. You must go back to your lot and we were in the front then walk back to the beach. Started to rent a golf cart but that was very expensive (rent from outside company not Camping on the Gulf) and of course it was not going to help. I used our Jeep to transport to and from the beach. Front row on the beach has water and electric but no sewer. So tanks have to pumped and disposed of at the dump station. Don't know if that is included or an extra charge. All in all a nice place and great location on the beach.

Great view of the maintenance garage.

Came here for a 3 night stay. Place is cramped and run down looking. Very expensive. We ended up in lot #503 about 100 ft from Hwy 98. After looking at the website the pictures lie! This place is a dump. We brought our golf cart because Miramar Beach allows golf carts on the street as long as you don't get on Hwy 98 we'll guess what this place is too far from the side streets to be able to drive around and enjoy the area but the park was sure to charge me $5 a day for bringing my cart when all we can do with it is drive around this shithole!! We'll never be back here again. It was just shy of $400 for 3 nights. We'd been better off staying at a hotel than bringing our camper. Our view is of the maintenance garage. Waste of money.

Never answer their phone held for over 30 minutes never any excuse for that. Prices are way to high$ 175 night??? For an RV??? Place needs major reorganizing it's Helter skelter all over the place vs a modern layout. Looks hap Hazzard. Won't be back there are better places. The only advantage is you can walk to the beach but then it's very crowded with all the rv ers so I went out 6 am and it was nice but $175 night nice? Noway.

Ain't cheap but worth every penny .... During these crazy COVId times we appreciate all the hard work the teams are doing to keep options open for us. We are part/ full timers ..... we work overseas for. 4-9 months a year and when in the US we live in our little 21 foot camper. We made it back from overseas after crazy flights and we are staying away from - everyone as we self distance / quarantine Living in 200 square feet is challenging so we appreciate the option to stay here - stay by ourselves but have fresh air . With federal/ state/ and most city campgrounds closed we needed a place to hang our hat and this is a gorgeous one The team here is amazing. We called ahead to make sure we didn't go into office - a team member took us to our site and we signed paperwork ( they told us to keep the pen and use for the gate code ) Bathrooms are posh and cleaned constantly - this is a really really nice RV park Laundry room spotless and reasonable We are doing our part staying solo , washing hands, sanitizer all the time but thanks to the team here we can do it with a great view To all the yelpers out there - keep trying to support local business and whenever possible - tip, tip and more tip ( I will track down our check in helper and tip him because I forgot )

Don't do it!! This place is Horrible for families! ONLY if you're an miserable individual that's mad at life and grumpy should you be here! So we spent 3 weeks at this campground in a fifth wheel. I originally thought when I booked beachfront site that we would be parked right in the sand but realized upon arrival that the 700 sites are actually the second row back from the water. We had corner site 708 which is concrete. You back up to a retaining wall. Sites are very close together and they make you park your vehicle right in front of your camper so our view was of our truck for $1700. I now know that you can save if you stay a month. I was not aware of this. The pool/hot tub/laundry facilities are nice. They def keep an eye on EVERYTHING. They are constantly driving around checking peoples hookups, parking, speed, you name it. It was a little annoying. Overall our visit was fine. Beautiful beach!

DO NOT STAY HERE.... Unless you're good with front staff NEVER answering the phone (on wait for HOURS), UNKEPT sites, TRAFFIC like crazy in front of the RV camp.. as well as PACKED sites (barely any room to enjoy the area)..and much more. YES, the beach is right there but there are tons of other areas! Especially considering their huge lack of customer service. After being on hold for over 2 hours we decided to stay somewhere else *DESTIN WEST RV* which was AMAZING! Save yourself the stress so you can enjoy Destin... :).

Other than that, great beach access, and private chairs/umbrella are provided. Helpful staff, and great balcony view. Everything else was clean.

Throughout the years I've stayed in almost every condo on the first floor, and 209 and 211 on the second floor. Every time it has been wonderful. Check in is at 4, which is kind of late. But if you show up early and your room has already been cleaned and inspected they will almost always allow you in. The front desk staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I've never had a bad experience with them. They always greet you with a smile and are super kind. Almost every condo has a king size bed, 2 bunk beds, and a pull out couch, so you can easily fit 6 comfortably. There is a full kitchen with cookware, 2 bathrooms, and one shower. From the living area there's a back porch that overlooks the gorgeous powder white sand and emerald coast. You're provided with 2 chairs and an umbrella. On the first day you go to the beach you can reserve your spot for the week so I would recommend getting to the beach early the first morning. There's also a pool and hot tub in the complex for when you need a break from the beach. One huge plus of staying here is that there is only 3 stories. The beach area behind Destin Beach Club is reserved for only residents so the beach is never overly crowded at this condo. Since you're right on scenic highway 98, you're close to everything there is to see and do in Destin. There's a plethora of restaurants, souvenir shops, and shops. You're also right next to the Destin harbor and all the new things it has to offer. Because of the great staff, amenities, view, and less crowded beach area, I would definitely recommend Destin beach club to anybody who is traveling down to Destin. Absolutely love this place, so many happy memories. Can't wait to be back!

Traveling during peak summer can sometimes mean crowds or lagging service, but this resort delivered the exact opposite. From the moment we checked in, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel like VIPs. Our room was immaculate, cool, quiet, and serviced impeccably every day. The refreshment/ snack center lines the breezeway onto the expansive veranda and steps down to the beach. It's stocked with guests favorites to enjoy 24/7. A glass door refrigerator is kept stocked with variety of Coca Cola brand soft drinks & bottled water. Lower shelves are kept well stocked with all kinds of Mars and Hershey candies from Milky Ways to M&Ms. Pretzels, Sun Chips and more varieties of Miss Vicky's potato chips. Starbucks drink machine rounds it out with a variety of hot drinks and iced coffee, made to order in under two minutes! Chocolate chip cookies fresh from the kitchen always available in registration area. Meals from their five star award winning pinched and culinary team can't be over stated. And the beach area (my reason for choosing Henderson) is gorgeous and pristine! -- it's lovely and never overcrowded, with staff constantly checking in to offer fresh towels, cold drinks, lunch and shaded setups. The dining options offered incredible variety and top-tier quality every single meal. All meals are à la cart. I enjoy this freedom to purchase specifically what I want rather than carrying a degree of cost for courses I don't order. Our meals were absolutely perfection! What truly sets Henderson Park Inn apart is the genuine warmth of the entire team. They didn't just manage a busy July week; they made us feel completely relaxed, pampered, and at home. Now at home we've realized this one week revitalized us better than two weeks anywhere else could've. Destin is a convenient location for most of the southeast. We live 6 1/2 hours drive away- pretty typical distance for many people in the southeast. But to stay at this amazing 5 Star resort right on the beach so reasonably close to home is a kind gift from God. Home now, refreshed and stocked with happy new memories too. This July 30 was our 50th wedding anniversary. Just can't put into words how wonderful time, even an over night Henderson Inn always is. This was our fourth visit!

The first night we booked their…read moremost expensive room, the presidential suite and the second and third night we booked the queen Juliette balcony (as this was all they had). When we arrived, no one asked us if we needed help with our luggage. We made our way to the Presidential Suite and it was filthy. The room size was massive but they clearly never cleaned it well. The couches and carpet all stained, the vents had 1 inch layers of dust all over, the fan was covered in dust balls and dust layers, some vents were falling out of the ceiling with no screws, the tile floor cracked, carpet has nails popping through and there is dirt and dust all over the floors from not being vacuumed or cleaned. There was also a huge roach on the floor which didn't add for an additional touch. It's Florida so I'm trying to be accepting of palmetto roaches but it wasn't cool finding that on your already filthy $1000 room floor. We were incredibly disappointed. For over $1000 this is not what we expected. We did share this with management and our next two nights we were supposed to stay in the queen room, was then adjusted to the king room. While the king room was definitely much cleaner, this room was also hundreds of dollars less in value. It's just very disappointing to pay over $1000 to have a room you can't sit on the couch, or walk the floors without your feet covered. Aside from the room, we also had a pretty awful breakfast experience. Eggs cold, and my husband's avacado toast was missing the egg. We sent it back and it was fixed but that lost our trust in the restaurant so we ate out instead. Our experience with the rental chairs on the beach was not good the first day either. The guy told us there were chairs set up, we walked over and there wasn't. He didn't offer to add anymore, so my husband put ours out for us. We really felt they lacked the customer service feature here. This place lacked the prestige we hoped for and we decided we wouldn't return here again. While the sunset and sunrise are just breathtaking, the hospitality and attention to detail here is lacking and not for us at this price. It seems people have been coming here for so many years they have blinders up and are missing how much is falling through the cracks or even noticing any issue. We would not stay here again and definitely do not believe 4 stars is a true depiction of this place, it could use work and improvements.

(St. Martin 1407) We loved watching the sunrise and sunset from patio. We could also see large fish and stingrays. There was seating for all 8 of us on the patio to enjoy the amazing view. Overall nice building and we enjoyed the gym, pickle ball and basketball court. Here are the cons: - It's odd that there were no beach chairs or toys in our condo or the office to borrow for your stay. There are chairs to rent for $55. I did see some condos had them in the garage space though. - The water in our unit tasted and smelled like chlorine - leaving three of us with upset stomachs until we could buy water. We were able to drink from the water fountain in the lobby and that water tasted good. - There were very little notes/instruction left in our condo for how to navigate this large resort. The map we got upon entry was not detailed. It was frustrating when we arrived. Where do we park? Where is the fitness center and what are the hours? How do we borrow pickle ball or basketball equipment? Where is the office? Where do we eat? Get coffee, etc? How do we use TV? - The pool is advertised as 'heated' but it was COLD. I'm thankful that the hot tub was fairly large! There were some little things the owners/management could do to make a 5-star experience. I did find out that you could go to the main office (by Ruth Chris steakhouse), and they allow you to borrow pickle ball equipment and a basketball. It would be awesome if they allowed you to checkout chairs or beach toys and bikes. It would also be nice if they sold coffee! The coffee shop next door doesn't open until 10. ** 1 Star -- and honestly, even that is too high for this place.**…read more I do **not** recommend staying here. My family vacations in Florida every year, and this is by far the worst condo we've ever stayed in. We were so disappointed that we actually left early just to avoid sleeping in those beds another night. The condo itself was dirty, and we found bugs inside. The hallways smelled terrible, likely due to ongoing construction, which made the entire building feel unclean. The shower was awful. The water pressure was so intense it actually made my back go numb, yet the bathtub barely drained, leaving you standing in about four inches of dirty water while trying to shower. It was disgusting. The unit was much smaller than expected. The bedrooms were cramped, and the guest room had full-size (double) beds that were incredibly uncomfortable. If you're an adult, expect your feet to hang off the end. There wasn't enough room to move around comfortably, and the patio was tiny with nowhere near enough seating for everyone to enjoy it together. The coffee maker didn't even make hot coffee. There was also no washer and dryer in the condo. Instead, you're expected to use coin-operated laundry at $2.50 per wash and $2.50 per dry. For what you're paying to stay here, that's unacceptable. Parking was another nightmare. If you return later in the evening, don't expect to find a parking space. We were told to park across the street at the Days Inn and walk back. Meanwhile, there were plenty of vehicles in the lot without parking tags, yet security apparently wasn't checking them. That makes absolutely no sense. The pool was consistently overcrowded. The posted bather load is 24 people, yet there were often 50 or more people packed into the pool every day. It also appeared that many people using the pool weren't even staying at the property. We watched people pull into the parking lot and head straight to the pool, and because there's no gate or controlled access from the beach, beachgoers could simply walk in and use the pool as well. It felt like the pool was essentially open to the public, making it even more crowded and taking away from the experience for paying guests. The beach setup was frustrating as well. The condo doesn't provide beach chairs, so you'll need to rent them. Front-row chairs were already booked, leaving us to pay around $60 per day for second- or third-row seating. You're also not allowed to bring your own beach umbrella. Tents are permitted, but only behind the multiple rows of rental umbrellas, making it difficult to enjoy the beach unless you spend even more money. When it rained, part of the parking area near the pool flooded, making that entrance unusable. The trash chutes are only located on one side of the building, which is inconvenient depending on where your room is. We brought several of these concerns to the front desk, but they seemed completely uninterested. Their response was basically, "We'll let security know," regardless of the issue. Nothing was addressed during our stay. The only positive thing I can say is that the location is good. Unfortunately, the location alone doesn't make up for the dirty conditions, uncomfortable accommodations, poor maintenance, lack of amenities, parking problems, overcrowded facilities, and unhelpful staff. Save your money and book somewhere else. There are far better places to stay in this area. I will never stay here again, and I'll continue telling friends and family to avoid this property.

Keep in mind, depending on which room you get, you will hear construction late into night and starting early in morning. View was nice from porch but it is West facing so not full view of beach (as back of property rooms) This property was a drag, because it is UNDER CONSTRUCTION!! Outside pool/kids water area are closed, however you can use indoor pool, which looked dirty to me, but there was construction going on all around that one, too, so may be why it seemed that way. Handicap ramp only gets you down one flight of stairs, but you'll have two more flights if you want to go onto the beach. Gym is a complete joke, and dangerous OLD equipment makes it not worth using, so we walked and worked out in our room. There is what looks like it used to be a sauna/steam room, but you guessed it, under construction. But no worries, the elevators are also under construction so you can just ride up and down over and over and you'll get the same feel as the sauna. The beach was magnificent (clean and pristine), especially if you go out before 5AM or after 6:30PM, because that's when they start setting up/taking down the commercial umbrellas/chairs that you must purchase. $50 for all day (9-5) or $35 for half day (9-1 or 1-5) or $250 for the week. We brought our own umbrella and chairs and they will not allow you to set up ANY umbrellas (b/c it is hot as he** and they know you can't lay out there for long w/o one). Because of this and the construction being much worse than property let on, we won't stay here again. However, we found a wonderful state park appx 1 mile from property, Henderson State Park. The beaches are gorgeous and not blocked by the stupid commercial umbrellas. We brought our own and we had plenty of room!! Find a different property, at least until they finish updates, however, after reading reviews from 5 years ago stating property was under construction, they may never finish.
